    Didn't know these multicolored tealights were a thing. I must keep my eyes peeled...

      FYI - I found mine in the 'Bridal" section of a hobby store and party supply stores also carry them.

    Great prop! I’m definitely interested on how to make the smoky cauldron. Thank you!

      Thanks for commenting JcMakes. The "smoky cauldron" is created by using an electric mini fogger that is placed in regular water. I found it at Pondliner.com , a pond supplies online store.

    Hmm... Apparently the colored tea lights can shine nicely enough through colored water, but with a bottle full of Long Island iced tea, the lights will just look RED. 🤷‍♂️ Live and learn!

    Glycerin vegetable oil would be good to fill the bottles something thicker than water

    I'm trying to find these tea lights, but everything I found has a pointy "flame". What brand tealights did you use?

    • @HALLOWEENHOWTObySaulFilms
      @HALLOWEENHOWTObySaulFilms  Год назад +2

      So sorry Terri for not responding sooner. If you find tea lights with silicon rubber, pliable flame tip, you can usually carefully cut them off to reveal the simple diode inside. Thanks for watching!

    Can you make a jar with an animated something swimming around inside?

      Use magnets and a Plastic fish on a thin flexible wire

    I can't find this brand of lights available. Can you recommend an alternative?

      Hi 1CuteMomma, you may have to go on-line to find them or something similar, such as these: www.flashingblinkylights.com/multicolor-submersible-led-lights-for-special-events-sku-nol-11446-mlt.html

    I have a frosted apothecary jar. Does anybody know how it looks when the glass is frosted?

    • @mannysr67
      @mannysr67 8 месяцев назад

      Just gave it a look. Seems pretty cool. I do wonder why you didn’t glue the bottle to the book, however. Your thoughts?

    • @HALLOWEENHOWTObySaulFilms
      @HALLOWEENHOWTObySaulFilms  8 месяцев назад

      It can be glued, your call. I just find that for packing things away, it is sometimes easier when props breakdown to smaller components. Additionally, it is easier to change, fill & empty the colored water without it bing glued down. Thanks for asking and for watching.
