      Hi! Some questions for you. I saw an electric oscillating heater at a thrift store. Would that work or should it be a fan? Is it hard to take the top portion of the fan or heater off? Thanks!

    • @HALLOWEENHOWTObySaulFilms
      @HALLOWEENHOWTObySaulFilms  6 лет назад

      Since each appliance is different it is hard to say how difficult it would be to take the unwanted heater portion off. You really just want the bottom half that moves back and forth, please use appropriate caution whenever you are working with electrical appliances.

    • @janehouck1906
      @janehouck1906 6 лет назад

      Thanks for getting back to me. May be safer to use a fan than a heater. I'll keep looking to see if I find one. Again, is it hard to remove the top portion of the fan or is it pretty basic? I would think the operating buttons on the fan should be on the base and not on top of the fan (like the picture you showed) correct?

      Hi Keepitscary. Yes, finding the right size and type of teapot can be tricky ... I went to a lot of thrift stores! FYI - For my prototype I created a teapot from a small coffee can, put a drawer pull on the plastic lid, drawer handle on the side of the can and created the spout with a piece of sheet metal, then painted the whole thing. Thanks for watching and for the comment.

      Hi Jayme and thanks for asking. I found mine at a thrift store but also search under 'disposable' 'plastic' and 'paper' tea cups (yes paper!). Also check children's toy tea sets. Be open to mismatched, clear and/or odd colors... spray paint and decals can do wonders. I hope that helps and good luck with your search.
