Honestly I like the effort but no, the grandfather paradox doesn't apply here. Infact, the grandfather paradox would apply only if the grandson was able to jump back in whichever point of time he wanted. The thing with Bites za Dusto is that Hayato does NOT time travel. However it does not contemplate the possibilty of rewinding the entire universe to a previous point in time. Infact if that were the case, the grandson would never be able to kill his grandfather before being born. With that being said there are other things I don't understand, like how was Kira able to rewind time the first time and keep the memory of it. Did he use Bites the Dust on himself? And if so, why didn't Hayato die again if it was fated to happen?
@@Fridgeson_ srry for late reply but he speciffically says that he cant see whats happening but if your reffering to bubbles from stray cat normal people can see that
Now that I go back and re-read those scenes that's what it looks like. When Kira "explodes" the nurse, everything around him goes too as he's sucked out and put in a new timeline. The anime adds infinite parallel universes being represented as bubbles and Kira lands in another one. While this is a hallucination he's having as a result of getting the shit beat out of him by Star Platinum, there's no reason to believe this isn't how his ability works.
that is exactly how he explains the power as i remember , killer queen destroys ANYTHING from existence, and bites the dust destroys EVERYTHING from existence
Here is how I personally believe bites the dust functions: Bites the dust (btd) is placed on someone, making them the carrier. As soon as the carrier gives/tells someone information regarding kiras identity btd activates. Btd kills the viewer/receiver of kiras information and then rewinds time one hour. The only person who remembers the entire experience is the carrier. After the rewind, the person who was initially killed by btd will be blown up by killer queen at the exact time of their original death, regardless of if the carrier returns to them with information or not. The only way to prevent this death is the deactivation of the ability. Here is a scenario: A spy is sent behind enemy lines. The spy learns the identity as well as other crucial information about the user of btd. The user plants btd on the spy, making them the new carrier. The spy returns back to friendly territory and reports to person A. Person A is blown up and time rewinds. The spy, scared and confused runs to people B and C, telling them what he just saw. Unbeknownst to the spy, person A is killed again, due to btd. People B and C calm down the spy and get him to tell them who the user is. Btd activates and kills them. Time rewinds and the spy stays put. One hour goes by. People A B and C have all died without the spy’s knowledge. The spy decides to tell someone again, so they tell person D who the user is. Person D dies, and time rewinds. Finally, the spy decides to return to the user. The spy kills the user before one hour can go by. People A B C and D are not killed and time continues as normal.
Yeah, that's how it works. I'm just confused about what benefit the time reward does to Kira? He can't know what will happen next, it only helps the one who is with BTD.
@@janyozenith9037 the benefit is that he is virtually safe from almost any type of danger to him by changing timelines going back 1 hour. Watch from 5:35 its explained well. Consider the first rewind. Kira killed hayato and was at serious risk of being discovered. But due to BtD he basically jumped back 1 hour and created a timeline where hayato wasn't killed. Some people ask how he used BtD if he can't use it on himself/stand users. He most probably used it on hayato's corpse. And for why hayato didn't die again due to fate was because his death occured before activation of BtD( kira hadn't even obtained BtD yet). The same case with other times BtD was used too. Every time he dodged some problem and created a new but similar timeline.

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I’m 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don’t smoke, but I occasionally drink. I’m in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I’m trying to explain that I’m a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn’t lose to anyone.
"You can't rewind time." Okay, but this is Jojo, you can't stop time either. Applying logic from our universe to Jojo does not hold any water. This entire video falls flat when you take into account that Jojo constantly breaks the laws of reality, you cannot, apply one section of real world logic to just one aspect of Jojo. Unless it's been specifically stated that Bites The Dust hops timelines, or there is evidence for it, you cannot say that "You can't rewind time." in a world where you can stop time, skip time, and fast forward time
you can actually do all of those things in our universe, it's just that most require star-levels of energy or materials we can't exactly work with (antimatter, negative masses, singularities, other fun stuff that means "funny space thing that kills you if you touch it").
Stands can erase time and reverse reverse destroyed objects to put them back together, if they want to, so rewinding time isn't a stretch by any means at all.
[GD] TrueDiego King crimson is really more of a psychic stand, guess the next 10 seconds and wiping it from everyone’s memory. But psychic abilities are, to our knowledge, impossible.
i do not believe that the grandfather paradox is accurate to this situation as it centers on going back in time and if that where the case then there would be multiple's of hayato and kira. but time reversal is just like hitting a rewind button where they remember the past events and react to them as they happen.
But... the grandfather paradox isn't usable in this situation. The only thing going back is his mind. Time itself is rewinded. He is not travelling through it, just getting memories from his future self.
Theres a way easier paradox as well, every death should be repeated at the correct time because of fate, so Hayato should be dying 1 hour after being "revived" by bites the dust
Can you explain why you can't rewind time in JJBA? Like, was this fact established anywhere in the story? Because you spend all of two sentences saying "you just can't" then based an entire theory around it.
Well logically you can't rewind time, it's impossible. That's why this whole theory comes of because you simply can't do that. That's what happens when you add logic to Jojo. Jojo in itself has the ability of just rewinding time alone, but there are moment's of where Araki actually does use logic and other times where he just drops it. Jojo + Logic = The Theory But then you sometimes you can and can't add logic to Jojo. Edit: Forgot to add that there's evidence to where it supports some logic in some cases, but at the same time Jojo defeats it's own sources sometimes. Also people have been having a lot of confusion when I use the term "timeline" when that would be the same if I said "universe". Using the term "universe" would be way easier to understand because of Jojo's history of connections to alternate universes.
In the JJBA universe, rewinding time is possible. Simple as that. The JJBA universe has a lot of things that are impossible in real life: Time nullification, time acceleration, time freezing, just to name the other ones related to time.
Kaleb I.A. This theory would make more sense if you just said he jumps timelines because of how he literally *exploded and jumped through time* whenever he tried to activate bites the dust. In my opinion, I think Bites the Dust actually explodes timelines rather than creates one or moves through one.
Wait so if it's just Kira and Hayato jumping timelines, then why does Hayatos face still open even though Rohan dosen't use heavens door on him in the second loop? In my personal opinion it's that Killer Queen creates a timeline that HAS to happen and some major events are recorded like deaths and Hayatos face opening up, BUT it also allows for slight deviations to happen as long as the recorded events/ significant events still happen and that Bites the Dust ends up killing who ever it ends up killing.
I think Bites the Dust implants bombs with a set denotation time that don't get altered since KK and his user and host (hayato and kira) dont get rewinded along with the rest.
Well there's a sort of theory that if you were to go back in time, and change an event, time would try to correct itself. Take the X-men movies for example, They go back in time to prevent the future of Days of Future Past, but then they end up in the future of Logan. So because Rohan opened Hayato's face and died in one timeline, even if Hayato went to avoid meeting Rohan time would correct itself and his face would open and Rohan would die anyways. The reason Rohan survived however is cuz Kira deactivated Bites the Dust before then so it sorta removed the effects of the old timeline from the current one. God fuck JoJo my head head hurts now.
First, there's not really much point to thinking too much on the Jojo universe. This is a universe where literally ANYTHING can happen. Anyways, BTD is NOT jumping Kira in this case. Despite his megalomania and cockiness, he is still intelligent and observant. He noticed the change in that moment and was able to deduce based on that info. For example, the teapot is broken in the first timeline. The second time it breaks, the teapot was caught, but breaks on its own. The third time the teapot is fine, but the tea still spills. Using subtle hints, like maybe Hayato didn't react normally, he was able to guess Hayato must have seen something like this before, just not accurately the number of times (Don't know exactly what happened since I didn't watch it yet, but you get the concept) Maybe it's easier to explain it like this. Say BTD is a timeline jumper technique like stated in the video, so imagine it like the parallel universe of branching timelines (Might be even easier if you draw this concept). Let's say, for simplicity sake, we start with the "main" timeline (trunk/base) which reaches up to the point where Hayato wakes up to that day. Now, the first "branch" is where several things happen, which involves Tea being spilled, Hayato's face opens, and Rohan exploding. At THAT point, BTD activates and starting repeating things over again. But because of minute changes from Hayato's behavior, another branch grew from the first branch, in which the teapot was caught, but since the first branch had the tea spilling, the tea was MADE to spill, just in a different way. Since this new branch came from the FIRST branch, it would be forced to follow the same events as if they were happening like in the first one. And everytime BTD activates, the process repeats. The reason this occurs is because there is a theory that if you try to change history, the world will correct itself to compensate for those changes so that things stay the same. So if you killed Hitler, the Holocaust would still occur, because someone else took over Hitler's role. That's the same idea with why Hayato's face opens up, the tea spills, and Rohan blows up. The events were "set", so the only things that needed to change was "how" those events would occur.
I don't understand why you say there is more than one timeline. Bites The Dust doesn't trigger the grandfather paradox. Unless I'm really dumb and am missing something.
because the claim is that you can't go back in time, so they're instead jumping to a different, nigh-identical timeline. problem is, you can absolutely go back in time, both in jojo and in reality. it just takes some funky materials to do it here, and a stand to do it there.
Hayato is incredible. He does not use stand, he is only as strong as normal primary school kid. But his manages to outsmart Kira the super-cunning genius killer, and understand the power of stand in no time. I almost feel we could have a whole series made for Hayato alone, specifically about what happens after Jojo 4. '^v< b
I don't think it creates any new timeline, I think Araki just thought about the whole world going back of one hour, maintaining people's death and the host memory... The only time it doesn't make sense it's when Kosaku gets hit by the Arrow
think it as the nurse example, but with the host dead. He plants the bomb and has to manually activate it. He apparently retains the memory of his activation, because he is the one that put Bites the Dust in motion. Afterwards, it no longer requires his activation or awareness, so the only conscious about the changes is the host. Yeah, I also think Araki was thinking it exaclty as it is put in the Arc, "rewinds time" and period. So if he had survived the last battle, he would remember activating it, the nurse would remember Kira's identity, but not herself exploiting. Because that's what it looks like is the nature of the first manual activation, exploiting the host, for making the Stand user get inside the time loop, securing his consciousness in the safe plane of existence where his identity is protected, and then, moving the "jumper" quality to the host.
araki: "here, a time rewinding stand" kaleb: " no, it's a timeline changing stand" like how do you even prove that rewinding time is impossible when no one even has done it to prove that it can or cannot. the grandfather paradox is a half-baked paradox based on nothing solid like how do they even know that the grandson went on another timeline separated from his own literally no proof
The grandfather paradox does not apply here since nothing can actually be undone, however if time travel were possible it would require different dimensions to make any sort of sense
@@wellshit9489 True. Even if the grandson does travel back in his own timeline to try to kill his grandfather, he wouldn't be able to do it. Since he was already born, no matter what he does he would be unable to kill his grandfather no matter what he tried since time is set in stone.
I always thought bites the Dust worked like Tracers ability from Overwatch, it rewinds all of the events that happened, but without changing timelines or effecting the main timeline your on, other than the fact that you are changing fate, this way it wouldn't cause any confusing timeline paradox situations, plus if Kira and Hayato were moving through into another timeline they would stumble upon duplicates of their selves from that timeline, which is another reason why I didn't think it truly effected time in that way.
The time rewind means that the current timeline is undone, reverted to how it is an hour before, so theres no “other time lines” its all the same timeline
I think there are more issues here than u presented: JoJo's uses linear time before Part 6, meaning that there are no seperate "timelines", this is both weird and creates a completely different problem than what you presented, namely: any timetravel into the past technically creates a paradox, however there are ways to circumvent thes in theory by merging old and new characters; this largely goes down as you presented at 4:30; however any previous "iteration" would simply be deleted by the rewind, this is btw why "Fate" is such a big factor in JoJo's, it means that there is only one outcome to any solution, this is broken in part 6, which is why from then on Stands have access to abilities that can properly interact with a multitude of *actual* worlds (d4c being the big one for that), hence also why all other stands that supposedly created their own Worlds were not really doing so, merely creating an illusion or copy of the existing world, or making a subconscious plane ( man in the mirror/death 13/ hanged man)
it just rewinds time so the memories of the characters are rewinded/ bought back in time thus them forgetting what happened this would not make paradoxes with a single timeline
Actually it does kind of make sense considering that Bites the dust description is "Exploding time". So it's more similar to destroying time lines. Since it explodes it would send the true stand user and the shelterer back in time as a result. A different time line. Which explains how certain events change and not repeated
Or it explodes the last hour of time meaning it no longer exists therfore it restores to the last existing point where it carries the stand user and target back
Yoshikage’s true weakness was not his cockiness, nor his arrogance... But the veil of modesty with which he preceded himself, led to such a mediocre demise. A humble death for a humble man.
There is a song named Ambulance by Sarabeth Tucek. The album that the song is in was released in 2007 so it couldn’t be Hayato’s stand reference (but in my mind it is).
There's no indication of separate timelines in Jojo's, though. I mean, as far as I remember. Your whole theory works on an assumption that multiple timelines are a possibility in Jojo's. You simply provide no evidence that there are.
Well, part 7's a new universe. If that one novel's anything to go off of, totally new types of abilities are possible in reset-ed universes. Not the main universe, though.
Multiple timelines don't make sense either, since they're not proven to exist. Not to mention, using the grandfather paradox in this instance makes no sense. BTD doesn't send Kira back in time, and then back to the present, it just sends him back in time. The grandfather paradox is a paradox that exists because a person from the present negated an action in the past. There's no negation of actions in the past with BTD, though, since its purpose is to send you back to the past. It DOES negate the present, but that's exactly its ability. It basically blows up the presnt, and sends you back to the past, for you to create a new present.
There's also another paradox with Bites The Dust, or rather a loophole which can be used to cancel out Bites The Dust. It is firmly established in the canon that BTD can rewind time even to a point that happened before Kira obtained that ability, as seen when he first uses it to avoid killing Hayato. It is also stated that the ability will be canceled if Kira dies. So here's how you literally abort BTD: If BTD is used on someone who's older then Kira then that person can keep traveling back in time indefinitely as long as they share Kira's secret with someone within one hour after the last rewind. If that person manages to travel 33 years back in time (Kira's age) then at some point Kira will cease to exist, and thus BTD will be canceled. Of course, that person would have to watch at least 289080 people blow up (if you take into account the time lag during which the person has to find someone to share the secret that's gonna be even more), not to mention the extreme mental strain it would take on a person to make such a trip through time, but all those people would ultimately be saved, and as a bonus that person would keep their youth and knowledge of the future for the next 33 years. P.S.: It wouldn't work on someone younger than Kira because they would revert to fetus long before Kira does, hence failing to achieve the desirable result and setting off the longest mystery explosion streak in history.
Btd deactivates when kira dies but does it really when he "don't exist because he isn't born" i think that's not worth taking the risk of effectively killing 280000 people
I completely understand what you mean. Time travel is most likely actuelly dimensional travel, where we abandon the "world" of the "pasts" we "leave" to inhabit NEW "time worlds" But. "X can't happen" Is a totally arbitrary statement anywhere and anytime, let alone AN ANIME.
I thought this was how Bites The Dust worked (it's a lot more simple) It destroys the present, forcing Hayato into the past because the original present is destroyed, making the future, or present, malleable, hence why Hayato could change the future by telling Josuke.
The first time that Kira tries to use Bites the Dust on the woman, it actually works, but she was the wrong target. He had to tell her his real identity for Bites to Dust to work, and she had to experience at least one loop for fate to be written. After the first loop, she took the initiative to kill Kira, and set up the ambulance driver to back up too far. That is why she says that it was her fault that the ambulance drove over Kira.
Kira needs to blend in as his new identity What will he do? 1) blend in❌ 2) act like his new identity ❌ 3) become a completely different person from his new identity and traumatise your new child✅
"So how do you exactly screw up everything wen you become virtually invincible? You get cocky, the main trend with Kira Yoshikage." Actually the main trend with JoJo villains. Dio lost by being cocky, hell, you could even argue Kars got cocky too.
Wait, but the Grand Father Paradox has the alternate outcome of just preventing the killer from existing. You don't necessarily have to take a alternate universe approach to it. So you can rewind time. Nice theory though.
Well, it is a jojo universe, which is fiction. So i think with the power of stand, i think it is possible that time could be really rewinded. It is fiction after all
I like to think of it in this way: When bites Za Dusto activates, the person on whom it was activated (like hayato) and the stand user both get transported to the timeline which Is currently an hour behind that old timeline but almost exactly close( without any significant divergence ). I know this is heavily inspired from steins gate but this theory just makes more sense. Hopefully this comment gets noticed..
Kira isn't being moved as he doesn't remember anything, it's always a new one but they all know essentially how bites the dust works and can pick up on context clues.
Time travel back in time usually works by going into a different timeline, like in DBZ. But i think Bites the Dust actually just rewinds time. Why? Because it's JoJo's
'reversing time' and 'going back in time' has a little difference, to trigger Grandfather paradox you need to 'go back in time' . Spoilers from The Flash(TV) below Let me show an example,Barry Allen has made different timelines because he 'goes back in time',. One time in these adventures he travelled back in time and stopped the man who killed his mother, making another timeline (Flashpoint). To kira create a Grandfather paradox he needs to stop something paradoxical, like: the watermelon kira goes back in time and then he stop the past kira from being stabbed by the arrow by this will create 2 timelines, 1º where watermelon kira will be erased from existence cause he will not exist by not being stabbed by the arrow, and 2º where the kira from the past will continue with differents events. But kira reverses time, he can't meet his past self, so he can't trigger the Grandfather paradox or other shit like this, and then he can't create any timelines.
Nerfademo Exactly. That's why he presumed his bomb worked and doesn't exactly know what's going on. He just knows bites the dust triggered somehow Thus he thinks his peaceful life goal is insured
I thought it was kinda clear it was less of going back in time and more of traveling to a alternate universe that's the same except one hour back, at least that's how it was showed in the anime.
This is a good video, although there's some issues with it. The grandfather paradox is just a thought experiment - it's not really testable so we have no way of knowing if it's true or not. Taking this logic, not knowing if it is actually a thing, and then not only assuming it does work like that, but works like that as well in this fictional universe is just assuming too much imo. Very well just could be that Jojoverse has manipulable time and some inherent function that stops the grandfather paradox.
Time can be seen as an arrow. DIO stops the arrow mid-flight. Kira has a string connected to the arrow that automatically pulls it back to the bow if certain actions occur. Diavolo shoots the arrow, the arch of the shot is skipped, leading to an event where it looks like he shot an arrow and it found its target immediately. Oh btw, his hair was able to see the arrow land. P U C C I J U S T B R O U G H T A G L O C K T O T H E P A R T Y
I always thought that bites the dust was actually very simple and most people would understand I saw it as something like dio’s time stop where when time is stopped, no one but dio and jotaro are aware But with bites the dust everyone is fully conscious the whole time until it activates and everyone is set back to the exact form of themselves without all of their memories because in reality memories are just chemical things we store in our brain, and only the stand user (in this case Hayato, and in part 3 jotaro/dio) would be aware since they are the person who is connected to the stand. I’m kinda confused why araki would make hayato aware and not Kira, when it would make more sense for both of them or just Kira to be aware. But then again it would be op af because hayato wouldn’t be able to figure it out
Timelines 2 and 3 do still have Kira though. It was only hayato that went back with bites the dust, except for the first time when Kira went back with bites the dust.

What if Bites the Dust's explosion literally destroys the old timelines?
Now that I go back and re-read those scenes that's what it looks like. When Kira "explodes" the nurse, everything around him goes too as he's sucked out and put in a new timeline. The anime adds infinite parallel universes being represented as bubbles and Kira lands in another one. While this is a hallucination he's having as a result of getting the shit beat out of him by Star Platinum, there's no reason to believe this isn't how his ability works.
that is exactly how he explains the power as i remember , killer queen destroys ANYTHING from existence, and bites the dust destroys EVERYTHING from existence

Here is how I personally believe bites the dust functions:
Bites the dust (btd) is placed on someone, making them the carrier.
Here is a scenario:
A spy is sent behind enemy lines.
To be honest I'm still confused
Great take man, the for sharing, it helped me a lot
Yeah, that's how it works. I'm just confused about what benefit the time reward does to Kira? He can't know what will happen next, it only helps the one who is with BTD.
Nonsense bites the dust isnt complicated just like beg

Okay, but this is Jojo, you can't stop time either. Applying logic from our universe to Jojo does not hold any water. This entire video falls flat when you take into account that Jojo constantly breaks the laws of reality, you cannot, apply one section of real world logic to just one aspect of Jojo. Unless it's been specifically stated that Bites The Dust hops timelines, or there is evidence for it, you cannot say that "You can't rewind time." in a world where you can stop time, skip time, and fast forward time
you can actually do all of those things in our universe, it's just that most require star-levels of energy or materials we can't exactly work with (antimatter, negative masses, singularities, other fun stuff that means "funny space thing that kills you if you touch it").

i do not believe that the grandfather paradox is accurate to this situation as it centers on going back in time and if that where the case then there would be multiple's of hayato and kira. but time reversal is just like hitting a rewind button where they remember the past events and react to them as they happen.
Yes

But... the grandfather paradox isn't usable in this situation.

Jojo + Logic = The Theory
But then you sometimes you can and can't add logic to Jojo.
Kaleb I.A. Inb4 Mandom
In the JJBA universe, rewinding time is possible. Simple as that. The JJBA universe has a lot of things that are impossible in real life: Time nullification, time acceleration, time freezing, just to name the other ones related to time.
there is a legitimate time rewinder in part sever ringo. 6 sec each time
MrThesorryman I agree. That's what I always thought. It's what Kira describes as "fate"
Or ''The Show Must Go On''
I think Bites the Dust implants bombs with a set denotation time that don't get altered since KK and his user and host (hayato and kira) dont get rewinded along with the rest.
Good argument. Here's my counter....

piluex2 and you just mythbusted him, great job.

Why are you so afraid of hospitals, mr kira yoshikage?
Kira: Things happened... (or will happen.)
The time rewind means that the current timeline is undone, reverted to how it is an hour before, so theres no “other time lines” its all the same timeline
Diavolo: Erase Time!
Killer Queen BTD: It’s rewind time
The world : Timestop go brrr
I think there are more issues here than u presented:
JoJo's uses linear time before Part 6, meaning that there are no seperate "timelines", this is both weird and creates a completely different problem than what you presented, namely: any timetravel into the past technically creates a paradox, however there are ways to circumvent thes in theory by merging old and new characters; this largely goes down as you presented at 4:30; however any previous "iteration" would simply be deleted by the rewind,
this is btw why "Fate" is such a big factor in JoJo's, it means that there is only one outcome to any solution, this is broken in part 6, which is why from then on Stands have access to abilities that can properly interact with a multitude of *actual* worlds (d4c being the big one for that), hence also why all other stands that supposedly created their own Worlds were not really doing so, merely creating an illusion or copy of the existing world, or making a subconscious plane ( man in the mirror/death 13/ hanged man)
it just rewinds time so the memories of the characters are rewinded/ bought back in time thus them forgetting what happened this would not make paradoxes with a single timeline
Actually it does kind of make sense considering that Bites the dust description is "Exploding time".
So it's more similar to destroying time lines.
Since it explodes it would send the true stand user and the shelterer back in time as a result. A different time line.
Which explains how certain events change and not repeated
So Kira wiped out entire parallel universes because he couldn't control his autistic hand fetish?
Amazing.
Unlike the gay priest, Kira indeed had at least a relatable cause.
Or it explodes the last hour of time meaning it no longer exists therfore it restores to the last existing point where it carries the stand user and target back
When this whole arc happened it didn’t even feel like they were in the real world
The real power of Bites the Dust is rewinding the opening
Yoshikage’s true weakness was not his cockiness, nor his arrogance...

There's no indication of separate timelines in Jojo's, though. I mean, as far as I remember. Your whole theory works on an assumption that multiple timelines are a possibility in Jojo's. You simply provide no evidence that there are.
Peasham Part 7.
ba dum tiss
The evidence is that it doesn't make sense unless this theory is true.
You can have multiple universes (or I guess dimensions in the best phrased version), that have massive similarities with tad bit differences. I.E. D4C
So here's how you literally abort BTD:
If BTD is used on someone who's older then Kira then that person can keep traveling back in time indefinitely as long as they share Kira's secret with someone within one hour after the last rewind.
P.S.: It wouldn't work on someone younger than Kira because they would revert to fetus long before Kira does, hence failing to achieve the desirable result and setting off the longest mystery explosion streak in history.
nice.
Btd deactivates when kira dies but does it really when he "don't exist because he isn't born" i think that's not worth taking the risk of effectively killing 280000 people
@@lialunare8196 not even that! you just have to rewind time to when Kira didn't even have his stand.

But.
"X can't happen"
Is a totally arbitrary statement anywhere and anytime, let alone AN ANIME.
it's GER but Kira starts fucking the universe
I thought this was how Bites The Dust worked (it's a lot more simple)
It destroys the present, forcing Hayato into the past because the original present is destroyed, making the future, or present, malleable, hence why Hayato could change the future by telling Josuke.
I love kira's mindset of being a humble man tryna live his life, but in practice acts like a grandiose Prince.
"You can't rewind time"

The first time that Kira tries to use Bites the Dust on the woman, it actually works, but she was the wrong target. He had to tell her his real identity for Bites to Dust to work, and she had to experience at least one loop for fate to be written. After the first loop, she took the initiative to kill Kira, and set up the ambulance driver to back up too far. That is why she says that it was her fault that the ambulance drove over Kira.
Kira needs to blend in as his new identity

1) blend in❌
2) act like his new identity ❌

Unrealistic, obviously Hayato's stand is his immeasurable plot armour, it's insane how a kid that age does what he did.

Hayato activates the ultimate stand:AMBULANCE!
What would happen if Kira activates bites the dust on Hayato, and throws him at Diavolo?
I think that bites the dust doesn’t turn back time but rather travels in time
Kira isn't being moved as he doesn't remember anything, it's always a new one but they all know essentially how bites the dust works and can pick up on context clues.
Kira: I died to an ambulance
Wherever the hell kira went: ironic
Time travel back in time usually works by going into a different timeline, like in DBZ. But i think Bites the Dust actually just rewinds time.
Why?
Because it's JoJo's
'reversing time' and 'going back in time' has a little difference, to trigger Grandfather paradox you need to 'go back in time' .
Spoilers from The Flash(TV) below
Let me show an example,Barry Allen has made different timelines because he 'goes back in time',. One time in these adventures he travelled back in time and stopped the man who killed his mother, making another timeline (Flashpoint).
To kira create a Grandfather paradox he needs to stop something paradoxical, like: the watermelon kira goes back in time and then he stop the past kira from being stabbed by the arrow
by this will create 2 timelines, 1º where watermelon kira will be erased from existence cause he will not exist by not being stabbed by the arrow, and 2º where the kira from the past will continue with differents events.
But kira reverses time, he can't meet his past self, so he can't trigger the Grandfather paradox or other shit like this, and then he can't create any timelines.
Nerfademo
Exactly. That's why he presumed his bomb worked and doesn't exactly know what's going on. He just knows bites the dust triggered somehow

....... sooo.... what you're saying is... that his stand is actually.. Filthy Acts at a Reasonable Price?
Yeah, it's pretty much a slow situational version of Bad Things Performed at a Favorable Rate
His power is the exact opposite of d4c d4c brings multiple Valentines in the same timeline while KQ puts the same kira in different timelines
D4C except it destroys the universe it was previously in
Dont you mean, Awful acts at an affordable price? A5P
Magicians red: I SET PEOPLE ON FIRE, king crimson with a crippling explanation
Jotaro: no stand can bring someone back to life
Kira: are you sure about that
I thought it was kinda clear it was less of going back in time and more of traveling to a alternate universe that's the same except one hour back, at least that's how it was showed in the anime.
0:01 dont you mean killa queen disan no bakudan BITE ZA DUSTO
Time can be seen as an arrow.
DIO stops the arrow mid-flight.
Kira has a string connected to the arrow that automatically pulls it back to the bow if certain actions occur.
Diavolo shoots the arrow, the arch of the shot is skipped, leading to an event where it looks like he shot an arrow and it found its target immediately. Oh btw, his hair was able to see the arrow land.

If I was made the host of Bites the Dust, I’d go around telling people I don’t like about Kira’s identity.
I always thought that bites the dust was actually very simple and most people would understand
I saw it as something like dio’s time stop where when time is stopped, no one but dio and jotaro are aware
But with bites the dust everyone is fully conscious the whole time until it activates and everyone is set back to the exact form of themselves without all of their memories because in reality memories are just chemical things we store in our brain, and only the stand user (in this case Hayato, and in part 3 jotaro/dio) would be aware since they are the person who is connected to the stand.
I’m kinda confused why araki would make hayato aware and not Kira, when it would make more sense for both of them or just Kira to be aware.
But then again it would be op af because hayato wouldn’t be able to figure it out

You can't solve one of the biggest paradoxes by saying "it's just another timeline"
"You cant bring back someone back to life once the soul is taken"
Kira: yeah sure
From what i'm understanding here in the end kira always dies after bites the dust activates
I was here earlier... then i bit the dust.
Timelines 2 and 3 do still have Kira though. It was only hayato that went back with bites the dust, except for the first time when Kira went back with bites the dust.
What if the Hayato and Kira that travel with Bites the Dust are just replacing the Hayato and KIra from one hour ago, in the same timeline? Meaning each Hayato replaces the Hayato that went back in time the previous time, and not the Hayato from another timeline
*time travel is done*
