As a professional pilot I can attest this Captain is a GOOD pilot. He actually hand flies it a fair amount. Only way you keep your basic flying skills sharp.
You're first officer -not a captain.
Something addictive about watching these videos ✈️ 👍🏻
I’ve been watching a lot of these too, and got struck with an idea as I read your post - I am thinking they are addictive because they’re almost always calm, and I think that does something good for my insides…cheers, fellow watcher!
@@dawnwelch6579 good for you Dawn ….. I think anything in these uncertain times that helps us in a calm and positive way is a good thing 😊
This dudes a good pilot. I’ve watched many of his flights.
blij dat jullie weer terug zijn. Zit te genieten. Met heel veel dank aan de Captain. Volgens mij de beste Captain van KLM-Martinair
It looks easy ! 😉
Very good, butter landing, congrats!!!
Welcome to Buenos Aires, always watching from here.
Srecno Putovanje Svako Dobro Srecno Povratak na pisti Srecno Pozdrav od Vaseg obozavaoca mr dr Idzonija iz Budve Montenegro Baj
Glad to see a complete manual landing. A lot of clips you see that they are disconneting the A/P and A/T when already stabilized on the ILS. That is too easy. And then you see comments such as nice landing. Far from the runway before configuring the aircraft manual. That is flying. :) Nice job guys.
Thanks for the tip to watch this video for all the reasons you mentioned. These guys really knew how to fly this aircraft and showcase their handling skills.
Waths your name, mi name es Jorgi, and the wool, Kike Wolf and the inglés Babington

Interesting to hear the Spanish ATC.
I liked it
Excellent

👍🕺 Beautiful video ⚘🎄
GREETINGS FROM CANADA 🇨🇦🍁
Excellent. Thank you. You don’t really get the sense of how high up the cockpit is until you see the ramp workers way down below.
If only Wizz Air could land like that.
Excelentísimo video. Muchas Gracias....!!!
Saludos enormes desde Mendoza, Argentina......👍👍✈✈
This is the best pilot of all time you are only one of you! So amazing to see how do your job with such profession. 👍
Another great video from our Dutch KLM/Martinair captain, many thx

Muito bom @🇧🇷🇧🇷

Into the night gang?
ATC you have 400 tons of Boeing coming at you at 180mph do we have permission to land?
He flew that whole approach manually, but with Flight Director activated, right?
doubleBdasher yes with Lnav and Vnav I think
App mode
@@jjsifo1 indeed I forgot about that
Poke those things have so much stuff we tend to forget about the basic ones ! :)
Martinair crew in KLM 747F
Please clear this up, but it always seems to me that the instruments dock is like above the pilots' sight. I feel like their view is kind of limited. At what height is it with respect the pilots' head?
If you have a simulator try seeing in front of you in a DC3!
Martinair Holland crew klm plane ?
James Cromwell
Coms audio is terrible.
Very bad distortion
Where is the crew from?
Dutch
the flaps are 25 and must be full
Que significa Saez?
El código OACI de Ezeiza
Why don't they just make a runway that never ends,so pilots all over the earth can use it?
Vio con Dios
Sound was shitty, great visuals..
Yes agree I've had that on some of their videos - extremely distorted and virtually impossible to work out any of the communications.
Wes to good Leon bacot LA povher
The moment the aircraft touches down, many passengers can be seen releasing their seat belts and reaching out for their overhead luggages. They forget that, it takes at least 15 to 20 more minutes for the exit doors to be opened. This is a common practice in Asian countries. I don't know about the passengers from other continents...
I’m in the U.S. and have not ever internationally flown…but all I know is that no matter what plane I am on in the U.S., we’re to keep our seatbelts on until we’re at the gate.
Is it common that pilots take the AP out so early?
They can fly the plane manually all the way if they want. But with certain limitations(No RVSM ect.)
For co-pilot , yes. to practice. For most captains, after everything configured, 1500ft maybe
@@youtubechangemynamewhy well not really true. Even many captain turned off the autopilot early if they want. Its more about personal preferences. Sometimes first officers has more experience on type than the captn.
I don’t recall saying definitely
Rosemary what you said still doesn’t make sense.
"VERY POOR SOUND VDO"
non, thats similar to theme route? the way we smuggled Adolf Hitler out of the Continent, Schipol International Airport to America del Sur
looks like the auto pilot does all the job, no?
PeteRoy “Flew the whole descent and landing manually “ - is that so difficult to understand?
Thats where Hitler lives
