I adore FF 25-27. It was Marvel connecting their universe in a tour of cross overs. 25 is first Hulk-Thing battle, 26 is not only the cover and first meeting but the 2nd cap in silver age. 27 is first Strange cover and first meeting, 28 is actually the 4th appearance of X-men and their first ever crossover. It really is the first time Marvel really leaned into a fully shared universe and makes a great micro run to collect.
This is one beautiful collection. Even though many of the books are lower grade it’s still an accomplishment that one can be proud of. If you could only get those first 12 to go along with it, that would be awesome to.
Enjoyed the video. It was awesome how you didn’t just focus on value but the whole experience and your appreciation of the FF story line and the collector you bought this nice collection from. Thanks for sharing.
You know you'd think a guy with the name of Swagglehaus would have his car's interior be like all crushed red velvet shag interior, or maybe a purple zebra print motif or something and not just like normal black.... cool collection though, nicely done.
That's a great collection. A full FF Volume 1 run is one of my collecting goals. I've still got a ways to go and I'm just picking away an issue or two at a time so it'll take some time. That seems like a great value for what you got!! Congrats!
Why do I feel like a jealous kid at a birthday party? You paid a great price! I won’t spoil the number here. 😂. Watch the video guys. Ty for letting us know the price. I won’t want collection videos unless it mentions how much they paid.
A silver age kid here that collected and loved Kirby FF comics in the sixties. I traded away many other Marvel titles that are valuable keys today, to buddies for some of those FF silver age "filler issues". I totally fell for the moniker of the FF being the "World's Greatest Comic Magazine"!
Nice FF collection. I think you negotiated a very good deal ! I think the Lee/Kirby FF run from 40-60 represents the pinnacle story line and artwork of Silver Age Marvel !!
I love this. FF 149 was the first comic I bought as a kid at my local 7-11. I'm working on a 100 to 200 run and would love to come across a collection like this.
Congrats Mr. SwaggIe. I got a nice FF 13 CGC 6.5 last year at a decent price had wanted one for years absolutely love the cover. You have got all five of the ones I want to pick up this year. (16,17, 19, 26, 28)
Oh my....... damn nice pick up Swag!!! I'm actually happy for you and jealous at the same time. Especially as some who has every FF book up to the current run (Vol. 7) only missing about 100 from Vol. 1
Picked up an almost full Bronze-Copper FF collection a few weeks ago.All books were from the original owner and were just in too good of condition to pass up. Almost full Byrne run. Not any of that great Silver Age stuff like this, but I’m certainly happy 😅
Nice to actually see you uping your game and upgrading thing, but hopefully the Comics that are in Better condition will make Up for those various Comics in far rougher condition and all and all I think you did good and this was great to see-" Thanks you.
My wild high-end guess would have been that you might have paid 10K for the collection, so I think you did well. The early books are in low grade but still quite valuable.
Swag, I'd love the chance to help you off set the cost of that collection by taking some cool old bronze and silver age books off you hands! 100 % serious. Once you figure out what you want to keep if we can figure out how to touch base and come up with books for sale , grades, and prices . I think that I can help you recoup some money, while buying these kind of books that I love.
Kudos to you for this brave move. Just a few days ago you were saying that comics are going to zero. This is a very strong collection! Too bad for the FF 48. You will easily profit specially with some labor of love and if you go to CGC it . Even if you don't want to sell it will be nice to hold it and own it. Was this a one owner collection? If so did you ask the guy what did he do with the first 12 issues?
great collection and you paid a great price! It is actually very much like mine, starting at nr 11 :) and mostly low grade. I am keeping the Kirbys and selling most of the rest (not much money in that). Never liked the Byrne run though, his art never appealed to me. And after Byrne the art got worse. There was a reason FF got cancelled, bad artists.
Hey! I figure it's something you've addressed before but, I can't find where? Is that an Emmy behind you in your videos? Also, where did the term "Swagglehaus" come from? Thanks! 🤔
I see what you did for us, much time and work to sell, and you not really a big seller, let bry help you, but you did it for us, even if you wanted to back off, you thought, for my buds on the channel, cant go wrong kudos
Picked up FF 1-12 for 16k during pandemic. Unfortunately the #1 had some glue and got a purple. I know have FF 1-27 I'm interested in FF 28-45 lmk when and where if your going to post them Ty
FF 20 is also the first published work of George RR Martin which has also elevated the value. Might be worth a slab then sell if you think its high enough grade.
Swag there’s some that I need as it’s hard to find them where I live. Are you selling them on your website. As I need some in the eighties to hundred fifties.
What about taking them out of the bag and checking the interiors and back covers? Did you get a chance to do that for all the keys? How do handle that without spending all day at the site?

Wow! Over $4 for over Forty Fantastic Four books! Insane pick up!
You know you'd think a guy with the name of Swagglehaus would have his car's interior be like all crushed red velvet shag interior, or maybe a purple zebra print motif or something and not just like normal black.... cool collection though, nicely done.
He should show us his home theatre and sound system; the one where when we listen, his neighbors listen as well.
Wow! It looks like they're all in mylar too! That's not cheap😊

I've been looking for the First Red Ghost.

I think FF 55 And 155 are really cool Surfer covers. Great pick up! Thanks for sharing.
Nice FF collection. I think you negotiated a very good deal ! I think the Lee/Kirby FF run from 40-60 represents the pinnacle story line and artwork of Silver Age Marvel !!
Nobody sells a collection like this without some hard times and heartbreak.
Yeah I think I'm going to have to agree on that one, I don't think he wanted to let go.
LOVED THE CAMEO OF YOUR DOG 🐕
I love this. FF 149 was the first comic I bought as a kid at my local 7-11. I'm working on a 100 to 200 run and would love to come across a collection like this.
The WGA strike has been dangerous to your wallet, sir! Nice pick up
Haha “Idle Hands are the devils workshop” 😂
Congrats!!! Great buy!
Fill books? Wow, even the non-keys aren't exactly fill books.
Very nice pick-up! I'm jealous! I've been slowly putting together a run of old FF, and I'm still missing several of those.
Congrats Mr. SwaggIe. I got a nice FF 13 CGC 6.5 last year at a decent price had wanted one for years absolutely love the cover. You have got all five of the ones I want to pick up this year. (16,17, 19, 26, 28)
Dear Swaggle. You did in 45 mins what some take years to do, congrats! I’m working slowly on this run, but encouraged some did it twice.
I love the John Byrne and Hickman FF runs...
The issue 72 cover is amazing!! That's a book. If the cover is nice/spine is tight, you sell it for a premium
Great collection buy! Totally awesome books. Thanks for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😀 👍 ❤️ 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 ❤💯💯✨️
Win, win situation. Good deal. Thank you.
Oh my....... damn nice pick up Swag!!! I'm actually happy for you and jealous at the same time. Especially as some who has every FF book up to the current run (Vol. 7) only missing about 100 from Vol. 1
Fantastic Four! 📚📚📚📚
Awesome find but it's kinda sad to know a guy who's clearly loved FF for decades decided to part with such an amazing collection.
Even in low grade, those early Kirby covers are awesome.
Picked up an almost full Bronze-Copper FF collection a few weeks ago.All books were from the original owner and were just in too good of condition to pass up. Almost full Byrne run. Not any of that great Silver Age stuff like this, but I’m certainly happy 😅
Forty minute drive in L.A. is about 3 miles.😂
No doubt.
I am a lifetime fan of Fantastic Four. An awesome purchase my friend!
Great deal! I love that the seller had put together 2 runs.
I have #6 of Empyre, the Fantastic Four: Disassembled TPB & #1 of Marvel Knights 4.
Nice to actually see you uping your game and upgrading thing, but hopefully the Comics that are in Better condition will make Up for those various Comics in far rougher condition and all and all I think you did good and this was great to see-" Thanks you.
$3300?? my word the seller got ripped off. good for you swagglehaus.
Congratulations! Good investment as you can't get hurt buying FF. Tremendous upside since they will soon be appearing in the MCU. Low grade is OK.
That collection is amazing, what a great find.. Congrats to you

Love that doom cover grabbing Thor hammer

Awesome pickup, can’t wait for the next claim sale!
Thanks for the video. I was getting sad whilst waiting. 😆
My wild high-end guess would have been that you might have paid 10K for the collection, so I think you did well. The early books are in low grade but still quite valuable.
Finding a ff collection is always a good thing
Very nice collection! There some nice ones in there!

FF 20 is also the first published work of George RR Martin which has also elevated the value. Might be worth a slab then sell if you think its high enough grade.

@@comicbookninja5268. Ya, people are getting desperate for new “keys”

WooooHooooo!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
As an aspiring collector what sources do you use to determine FMV or price?
What did he say about where 49 & 52 were?
It’s all “ money money money”… how about getting stuff because you want to read it? Ffs
