Bob is a great guy! We go back over 40 years, back when he bought comics from the comic store I eventually owned.

As a comic book collector growing up in the 80's I really appreciate that Bob doesn't care for slabbing his books. Mad Respect, this guy is a Legend.
Yes, I hate grading!
I absolutely despise all grading companies. I'm not going to pay for someone's opinion on the condition of my comic books, and with all of the shady things going on with scammers and the grading companies themselves, I will never buy a graded comic or send any of mine out to get graded. Grading is a sham.
I love that in all of his collection he only had a few slabbed books, and that he actually reads his comic books. He may be collector, but first and foremost he is a lover of comic books.
Bob is a real one! Especially appreciate the love for all types of comics.

I can't imagine dealing with a collection that large. I have 24 long boxes and 9 short boxes and am about to stop buying, and just enjoying what I have.
@@mysterymac38 I only use short boxes, easier to move and sort. And I plan on keeping going!

I will never get bored with talking about comics,as was mentioned to me that when I'm in my L C S we talk another language 😊 Yes we do,and it's called geek. I'm 65 and my grandson is 12 and he has developed the trait from Grandpa.....ahh the smell of fresh comic books🥰
Amazing collection, unfortunately I made the transition to digital comics due to very minimal space to store my comics but this video makes me want to throw out my bed and furniture just to fill up all the space with comics lol

I have a comic collection, and my dream is to have something like his, and i really respect this guy. He takes care of his comics
Chuck rosanski of mile high comics has three million comics in his trailers on his farm at boulder Colorado, and another two million at his home as well as twelve million comic at his Jason street mega store. Altogether about fifteen times as much as this guy who has a guiness book of records.
Love this!! I love that he reads so much and just enjoys his collection and that he still has his want list and books he still hunts. All the original art and bowen mini busts are fantastic too! 😍 love the library room...I imagine many nights and many adventures have happened in that room.

very jealous of the statues and bust, and the art,lol, my collection is around same size, minus the hardbound books and omnibus, ive been building my screen used marvel collection and cast crew items, over 2k differant items now, im really amazed at the display of it all, all mine is in 6 differant places its so large, look forward to meeting you someday buddy

I’ve got about 120 long boxes (with 300+ comics per box) and I’m trying to whittle it down because it’s too many. 138,000 comics would just be way too hard to manage.

Hi I bought a comic book in the late 70s. I think it was about a man or two brothers who were the leaders of their people. I think it was kind of phantasy with fights against the evil in a phantasy world. Any idea what the name of this book could? I,d love toread it again. Wonder what Bob does for a living? Expensive hobby. I should know ; ) Sadly I just sold ALL my Marvel floppies : ( I held onto my DC's and Independent titles for now. Solely collecting hardcover collections now like Masterworks, Omnibuses and some Absolutes. Wish I had more room to display my statues.
I have a Masters degree in Computer Science and have been working in Tech since I was 18. I'm currently in charge of Business Continuity and Disaster Revovery for a financial institution.

My guess, based on the boxes he had there and how the comic bundle was packed, would be MyComicShop. They're the same retailer I've been using for years. The discount on preorder comics he mentioned is 35%.
I'm not 100% sure since I've never used another online preorder subscription service, so I'm not sure other companies package theirs.

It's OK.... not my favorite but not my least favorite either. Not a personal fan of the recent stuff with MJ & Paul an 2 kids, but that's just me.

Not sure who/what Fantast is. If they're a comics dealer, LOTS of dealers have more comics than me. That's their business.
If Fantast is just a fan like me, they should remove all the duplicates from their count and get ahold of Guinness to break my record.
