Steve Sansweet (USA) has amassed an estimated 500,000 unique items at Rancho Obi-Wan in northern California, USA. As of 4 May 2015, "only" 93,260 items had been accurately audited and catalogued - a number sufficient, however, to beat the previous holder of this title by a factor of four. Sansweet estimates that the cataloguing process will take years to complete, as his collection continues to grow.

I feel a little disheartened knowing that I missed my opportunity on a lot of these things since I’m young, but I’m going to do my best to get as many vintage items as possible. Staggering amount of items. The way it's all organized and displayed. The amount of effort it must take to maintain and keep everything clean from dust/bugs/rodents. I'm just flabbergasted at how amazing this is. Best of all is how much fun Steve has showing us his collection I just wanna give him a hug!
I get the vibe from that, "C'mon in," at the beginning that Steve doesn't just enjoy collecting all this for its own sake, but so he can share it with others, like in this video.

This Collection makes a fine addition to my collection.
You know what’s interesting- the music in the background of this video is from Gustav Holst’s “The Planets”, from which John Williams took some inspiration for the Star Wars music.

Why? I can't this "nerd" link with Star Wars which some have pushed for the last twenty years or so. Star Wars was MASSIVELY popular in the late 70's through the early 80's! It was mostly cool people; myself included, who remained fans afterward.

People like this fascinate me. They become obsessed with something and love it so much, that they then can make a living off just being a fan of it. It’s like the people who are super into Funko Pops and have so many they get doubles or ones they don’t want from mystery boxes, and can end up financing the entire hobby just from..the hobby itself.

Well back in the day, all the films and characters were designed with toys in mind, that's why there us so many of them.
Mr Hansla no that’s not really correct, the original trilogy did not have toys in mind as much as the newer trilogies did. Look at the newest films, Disney has capitalized greatly from the toy markets using the new films.
This is worth more than microsoft, apple and amazon combined
The game at the end gave me so much nostalgia.
