Amazing video! Your explanation on creating the perfect RUclips studio in a small space is so practical and inspiring. Can't wait to implement some of these tips in my own setup!
You are amazing bro, your channel is one of the best definitely. I can say that being a RUclipsr is very similar to running your own business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman offers product/service that people need. And you are doing that. For some beginners it could be tough to start channel (Use a lot of Famester to help start your channel). I was like that, and if I didn't found out about it, I probably wouldn't be able to type this comment today.
I'm an educator, hoping to grow on RUclips and start making more varied RUclips videos on Philosophy, Book Reviews and stuff instead of Maths and Physics. Definitely needed this! Thank you, Ali!
This is more relevant to me than you’ll believe!! I live in Hong Kong and setting up a space for filming is absolutely challenging for us here! Thanks for this video!! Not for me, I think I’ve done alright with mine, but I’m sure loads of folks will benefit a lot from your thought process! ☺️
Came for the studio setup (as I’m setting my office studio), stayed for the fact you’re a dad - congrats, mate! ❤ And yes, I’m watching this in the dark after putting my 3year old to sleep - it’s gonna get fun! 🎉
Congratulations on the move and new baby, Ali! Your RUclips journey is inspiring. I'll def apply some of these tips to my videos, and I'll check out your academy📚
Hi Ali, Thank you man for this video. Set Up a studio is my current problem and you've just solved it. Honestly, I feel so lucky because every time I’m struggling with something, I check your channel, and you’ve already uploaded a new video that addresses it. Also, huge congratulations to you and your wife on the pregnancy! Wishing you all the best as you get ready for fatherhood and this amazing new adventure in your life.
There’s nothing better than a fresh start! It's encouraging how you showcase the transformation in just 23 seconds-it really makes it feel achievable for all of us starting out. This video couldn’t have come at a better time, as I’ve been stuck overthinking how to set up my living room to film my very first video🙂.
This video came to me at the exact time I needed this thing. I just started to make my room a better studio and I got a notification about this video. What a brilliant timing 😊
This video comes at a time when I was just renting out a space just like this, with a window, figuring out how to set up a studio and timing couldn't be better. Great stuff Ali
Congrats on the exciting news, Ali! 🎉 Becoming a parent is such a big step, and I’m sure it’ll bring so much joy. Wishing you all the best in this new chapter! 👶💫
What a timing, moving to my new place soon and I was thinking about how to setup a small studio there ( interior, lighting stuff) and here you are sharing exactly that. Is this called manifestation ? 😊❤
hey I want to say thank you in 2022 I used your videos to study productive, they were so helpful not only I passed my exams with the best grades but also developed a strong concept of learning anything. Thank you so much. this comment I know has nothing to do with this video. I wanted to make sure you hear me out.
Awesome & straightforward setup! A small tube or spot light on the bookshelf to add a small hair/rim light would completely finish this already amazing look 🫶🏼
You are speaking my language…I’m an interior designer and I have been thinking about what makes a good studio…that is also aesthetic and represents my business style…as I’m planning on rebranding…
I love the view of the buildings instead of the books and flowers. This can actually be a series where you invite different video graphers in Hong Kong to come and their best at creating the best setup for you and you'll be surprised how many people in Hong Kong will surprise you.. But you definitely need to show the view of the buildings behind you!!!
Hey Ali, i’ve loved your content for a ling time now and your videos are are among the ones that have inspired me to have a go at one myself. Thank you 🙌🏻 almost at 1k subs now
Ali, I wish you posted this 2 days ago because that's when I was literally trying to replicate your camera angle and setup! Lol I already made my "studio" but this is helpful for the future nonetheless. Thank you :)
thIs was super helpful! my wife and i just moved into our first home and am actually planning an Ikea run this weekend for my new studio setup. Thank you! 😊
Thanks so much for this video. I agree with your philosophy. I find myself much happier filming a video when the natural light was enough and beautiful.🤗
Stay happy Ali always. I have been following you for years, watching your channel grown up so fast. So happy for your new start. Best of luck. Just this, but still have a lot to say.
*"At first I just watched this for 1min"* all of a sudden I got an idea to rearrange my room & things ... And trust me just an adjustment got me more space in my room. And then started continuing video again, to gain further experiments 😊... *"thank you abdal sir"*
Ali, in HK we all creating from our study rooms ✨ 😁 also we use the window sill space as a place for keeping books and plants orrr you could get a custom table made for like 10k hkd ish
Absolutely love this Ali! Part of my work is that I help people build amazing looking video sets in small spaces like this one. You nailed it. The only thing i'd change personally is swapping all the fake plants for real plants. It really does help to boost your mood and wellbeing in the room, yes you can argue that "air quality" can be improved my the plants too. Dont know if that's bro science but the placebo is good enough for me!
What was the vlogging style camera you and Alice were using? Congrats on all of these amazing things happening in your life . Getting married, having a baby and moving to a new part of the world are all wonderful experiences. So happy for you both.
I was just today only doing setup for my shoot (and I faced many difficulties) and boom!! Now you made this video. Thanks man!! I am glad I have subscribed you!!
I was just thinking about your set-up and boom, this video. Same 24mm, same cam, same manfrotto poles. Hahahah love how you made this space work and thanks for sharing your set-up & being so open and helpful! Congrats on getting married and for all your success brother!
Todo quedó muy bonito, me gustó mucho todo: la iluminación, las plantas, los libros, los muebles. Lo más complicado parece ser lo de las cámaras, pero está increíble. Felicitaciones y vamos por más vídeos desde Hong Kong!.
Riverside is such an essential part of my workflow too. Congrats on the move and the new life adventures! Thank you for sharing the process of setting up your new studio, it's super helpful - it looks awesome!
I’m really excited to hear about this! I’m from Hong Kong and I have been subscribed to your channel for years. It’s great to feel more connected with you here in Hong Kong!Hope your journey going smoothly and wonderful. Enjoy living in this city and explore more opportunities! ❤hopefully we will meet at the street accidentally 😂😂🎉!God bless you🎉Have a good time 😊
What would be cool is if it’s a shared studio you could change the pictures with the magnets every time to switch it up. Really helpful video thank you!
That's so cool that you've shown the process of experimenting & setting the things up, not only the final look 👌🏼 Ah, and the view outside is just WOW 😍 That's some inspiring shit, man. Saved to favorites 👀
Nice, looking forward to bumping into you in Happy Valley. FYI, you’ve moved right next door to the old Metropark hotel which is now the HQ for the Mainland Chinese authorities which oversee all national security affairs for HK.
Ali is back to his groove! actually making videos that are helpful to his audience, and is not just "how to make 1M a year" cash-grabby type of videos.
This is so useful for me right now as I am trying to really starting to try investing in my set up to add some acountability financially with investing more of my time into my channel. Thanks Ali (and team) Blessings!
Okay that manfrotto pole thingy is a game changer for artists who want a stable and reliable top down shot! But how much did all of your technical gear cost? Super helpful video btw, thankyou and congratulations on the baby, marriage + move - news! ☺️
Thank you sooo much Ali! It is an extremely helpful wideo ❤ 😊 you have such a good vibe, so it is really cool to watch you arranging the room 😊good luck in Hong Kong! 😊
I thought that was Hong Kong out your window! Hong Kong is my son’s favorite city. Of your books, do you have any recommendations on which one to read first?
