Bro, that Buzzbait is absolutely sick!!! This is why we need informative channels like yours. Excellent instructional breakdown on design. No doubt in my mind that bait would kill on the Potomac and Hudson River. Great stuff again as usual bro, and definitely glad to see you're back. Hope you liked the informative channel video I did on your channel. Good luck on the water bro!! 👍👍
If you notice, he uses a small ladle to pour in this mold. I used to have this mold and kept getting incomplete pours when I used the bottom spout on my lead pot. Use a small ladle and the incomplete pours go away. Nice video, bud!
WBS-3812 .051 wire form and I dont remember what size eye. I just grabbed some of the biggest that would fit. There isn't eye slots for them, I just like putting them on lol.
That's the best looking spinnerbait I've seen. Very cool. I saw your video on making a buzz bait with the spinnerbait mold. Do you prefer this mold or your spinnerbait mold for buzz baits? Thanks.
hey! this is off topic but i have a question about using GLITTER with soft plastics. will the glitter you buy off the shelf from wal-mart or target work or will it fry in the hot plastic? help this noob out! thanks bro!
fue22686 most the glitter will melt. But there are some that will not. I've found some at Michael's that actually worked but it's always a good idea to just get glitter from Do-ItMolds.com
Nice video Skimpy. You should think about building a fluid bed out of PVC. I used an old aquarium pump for the airflow on mine and it works great! You can build it as deep or shallow as you want...
Well , I have the other Do-IT buzzbait mold . It was given to me . I am 0 for twenty on getting a complete pour . The wire sticks out , so I shorten them and the wire blocks the path to the collar .
@@ThatGuySkimpy I know it's been a year since this post but where do you buy the mold? sorry if it's in the comments or in the dialogue I'm in a highschool graduation and have the volume off!
Very nice looking lure man!! I finally started making some plastics after watching your video and looking to start pouring some jigs. Looking for a swimbait mold that comes through grass easily. What are your thoughts on the poison tail when it comes to this? Thanks brother!
James Lohry poisontail jig is an awesome swimming and flipping jig for sure. Do-It molds makes a jig caked the casting jig that swim trough grass the best. I don't have that mold yet it it's on my list. They also make a swimjig mold called the Pro Swim. I have that one. It's a pretty nice swimjig !!!
That Guy Skimpy That casting jig looks like that would be a winner with the narrow head and eyelet. And, TW has it for a pretty nice price. Thanks for the info bro, keep up the great content.
I know this is an older VID, but try using a cosmetic makeup brush for applying powder paint. These work well, similar to using a fingerprint brush. They have very fine bristles to hold the powder. They come in various sizes too... 🍺🎣
Nice hey bro just wanna say love your vids big dawg I’ve been making jigs from the first time I seen your videos and plan on expanding just watching your vids. I’m been watching the buzz bait one and I’m thinking about the chatter bait too so I’ll probably be hittin you up
Shawn Darling I get asked all the time if I'd start selling. I just make these for fun. If I start selling it's no longer fun and makes it a job lol. Don't want the stress of filling orders and such.
That Guy Skimpy I agree with you on that one. You do such great work. I just make sinkers and sell them. I have a local market sell them for me. But with colder weather on the way it's hard to keep the molds warm.
Hey bro love the video, can you point in the right direction on what hooks to use? I just got into pouring my own buzzbaits and I’m lost on the hook selection. Thanks bro
you should check out powder buy the pound, or prismatic for your "paint" powder it can go on the same way as the pro-tec stuff but WAY more powder for the buck and a MUCH wider variety of colors
Thanks for the heads up. I really love pro tec though. I've tried many different ones and seems that pro tec always comes on top. But I will check that stuff out. Thanks bro
@@ThatGuySkimpy no problem, most ive paid for a pound of powder is $15.00 from either place. with the buzzbaits if you fold the paper and put maybe a table spoon worth in the crease then dip the warmed lead in that then thump off the excess into a coolwhip -type bowl then bake it should work great.
They look good
🤜🏽🤛🏽

That Guy Skimpy absolutely bro, my pleasure. Good work like that should be complemented 👍👍👍👍

Exactly. The ladle helps with those tricky molds
Very Very nice brother 👌thanks

Nice bro. Can i have 1 that thing to ? How ??
love the buzzbait. Now i have to buy another mold
What size eyes do you use? And which wire form did you use? Thank you in advance.

Very nice
Thanks brother
Great wideo as always. I use a small paint brush and tap the powder paint on, but your way is just as good. Neat way to break the bait in on the fan!!
Gary Bowers yeah I was thinking of the brush. Didn't have one though. I need to pull the trigger on a fluid bed . The fan trick works great !
What heat gun are you using?
Got it from harbor freight !!!
Thanks for the video skimpy! That's a really nice looking skirt on this spinner bait
Thanks for watching !
That's the best looking spinnerbait I've seen. Very cool. I saw your video on making a buzz bait with the spinnerbait mold. Do you prefer this mold or your spinnerbait mold for buzz baits? Thanks.
I love this mold. I prefer it over others
The buzzbait!! Nice work man and great explanation too.
HaloLegend SR thanks my LOB brotha !!!!!!
Nice job. It's a little more satisfying catching a fish on a lure you made yourself.
Your like a mad genius bro that looks good 👍🏽🎣
Thanks brother !!!!!!
awesome baits!!!!! damn this guy is good
Julie Anderson thanks for watching !!!!!!
What size bead are you using?
You just match the bead to what ever size your wire form is !

NQS Performance Outdoors yeah I def need to pull the trigger in a fluid bed
Always enjoy these bro! Keep up the great work.
Could you tell me what mold that is please
The do it molds buzz keel
Awesome thank you so much. Love the videos on the jigs
Hello Skimpy how you been, nice Buzzbaits what kind of Hook was you using?
Gary McCraw they were BassPro straight shank hooks.
Well , I have the other Do-IT buzzbait mold . It was given to me . I am 0 for twenty on getting a complete pour . The wire sticks out , so I shorten them and the wire blocks the path to the collar .
Send me a pic... ThatGuySkimpy@gmail.com What are you using to pour? If i remember right, the buzzbaits call for a ladle pour.
I'm using The same pot you have , but pouring directly from it . Not using a ladle but I have one .
I cant send you a pic . I remelted them to try again .
d rouse yeah try using a ladle and see if it helps
Hello skimpy good to see you again good job bro!! You lost some weight awesome congrats and take care my friend
Jerry F lol yeah it's been awhile since last video. Haven't lost any weight but thanks for the compliment lol
I have this mold but yet to use it. MAY have to order up some hooks and get melting..
lol. I love this mold. If you fish Buzzbaits its a must have !

@@mychaldsainz4316 anytime bro. Hit me up Thatguyskimpy@gmail.com
Kool I’ll hit u up and one more question what a good size blade
“Alligator Clips”. That’s not what we called them when were kids.....😂
Lol
New to pouring…… how and purpose of “smoking” the mold?
The reason to smoke the mold is it helps the lead release after poured and also helps fill the cavity !
Thank you, Great job!
Nice vid
Can you use powder paint on zonar blade baits?
I've never tried
What's the cost per bait with all the materials you need?
I've never added it up sorry. Guessing cost around $1.00-$2.00 each one ?
thats cool thanks for response .. you do a really good job .i'm going to buy the ned rig mold to start .. the make those jigs like you ..
