Thanks for watching.
See you in my next video.
I love you 💞💞💞
CONGRATULATIONS. That's how you listen to a Classic Country song. Most reactors don't understand this song. George Jones is a legend in & out of Country Music. He KNOWS how to sing & has many hits.
Thanks for watching.
100% She pays attention to the lyrics, which is next level since it’s easy to just fall into the voice.
I think Billy Sherell wrote it. He set out to write the saddest song possible. Jones himself thought the song wouldn't sell
@@robertcousins2047 l remember George talking about how he didn't want to record it. Said it was a depressing song that nobody wanted to hear & no one would buy it. I believe George could sell a song with his voice even if the song was terrible.
@@robertcousins2047 No, the lyrics were by Bill Braddock.
I'm a 76 year old man and your reaction is very genuine and the same reaction I had the first time I heard it many years ago. I have watched thirty or forty reactions to this song and most people don't pick up the fact he died even after he sang about the wreath upon his door and they carried him away.
I've watched all the reaction videos on this song and stll tear up every time. This is my favorite one. You're a beautiful lady and I loved watching your feelings show.
This is the greatest love song of all time
I've watched many people listening to this song for the first time and most do not realize what is happening. You got it immediately!
Finally, someone who understand the meaning of the song so many people miss the whole point. I subbed and liked for sure! Love your accent too!
That is bc she isn't reading writing that other vids contain. She is listening..
Absolutely love your reaction. This is the type of reaction this song deserves 👍
Thanks for watching.
It's sadder when you're living it.
In two words you new he had a Golden Voice! That’s how good it was ! He was the best.
Great reaction! So glad it surprised you that he had died. The opening line says it all: "He said I'll love you til I die". This is considered by many to be the perfect country song. The instruments are in perfect sync with George. Thanks for doing this one.
You're a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart. I wish there were more people like you In this world i could see the real emotion on your face
Thank you so much for your kind words.
I loved your reaction! Anyone can see on your face the second that you realized that he had died! FANTASTIC reaction!!! This is one of my favorite George Jones songs. He was a wonderful singer and I was am still am a fan of his music! Thank you for a wonderful reaction. You have a new fan in me today!
Thanks so much
You just listened to the greatest country song ever written.
💯
I’d love to hear the argument against it.
He really means it
One of the best country songs ever. So sad he died of a broken heart and that's how he stopped loving her. Pure poetry and storytelling.
Drank himself to death.. not one person mentioned that
Such a beautiful reaction to a beautiful song, amazing job.
This one rips my heart out! Mister George Jones sings it with such great emotion.....you can feel the way he loved her, you can visualize the moments described.... dressed up to go away... placed a wreath upon his door... soon they'll carry him away...she came to see him one last time.....
Just incredible imagery used in the lyrics.
Good reaction. God bless you and all here!
This song is beautiful and so are YOU young lady, you have a beautiful heart!
Thank you so much
Thank you so much for actually understanding the greatest country song ever ❤️
I have watched countless reactions to this song. Many of them don't even get the died part. You are a very smart lady. thank you.
Thanks so much for your kind comment.
OMG- You understood the meaning of the song! You are certainly an open and sympathizing heart. I am so glad you understand the value of this song. Country music is always reaching for a true delivery message and this song takes us there.
This song is so heartbreaking. Men tend to render all their value to their woman until the end but sometimes the message gets misread. Women are the reason why we work hard, why we push ourselves to the limits and why we give up if we can't win their hearts. We hold hope until the end and can't be truly happy ever after losing their love. This song is the epitome of a man waiting for his only true love.
You get it girl! Beautiful!
George was the greatest country singers ever another great song from George is Rest in peace
You did real good. Most people don't figure it out. Such a sad song.
Absolutely Amazing Reaction thank you ❤❤
Loved your reaction. It's nice to see reactors figure out that he stopped loving her because he died. Too many reactors miss the meaning. Good job.
You are one of the first that listened to this sad song.
I don’t know if you actually heard this song for the first time or not but I’ve heard it hundreds of times and it brings tears to my eyes each time
Great reaction! You're the best and you can underline in red!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU !! I listened to this song growing up, George Jones was his favourite artist, and this song is one of his BEST. So many people do not get the meaning of this song, the same as me, 10 years old - what would I know about love? It wasn't until later that I really understood, after my father had passed, what it really meant. My mother left him, and despite everything he loved her until the day he died. You have a great heart, and you listen to songs, really listen. You earned my sub and like.
4:52 When she gets it! Perfect expression. Great reaction video to what is considered the greatest country music song of all time.
Beautiful reaction
Loved your reaction, you got the story and felt the delivery!
This was voted the GREATEST COUNTRY Music song in history
Thank you for appreciating a classic. So many listen but don’t really pay attention. Love this.
LOVE YOUR REACTIONS! BRAVO!
Wow. Best reaction by far. I have been watching these for this song today and this is how it’s done.
i have a few favorite country music singers, and i like this song, what a tear jerker, hits u like a brick. when i first heard it, i felt like wow,and a coworker sat in his truck and listen to the song. we both felt mesmerized.
Thank you for listening to the lyrics. Most reactors miss the point of the song.
I felt so bad for you when you realized what it meant..... but I love ❤️ your true reaction
I've watched about 3 other reaction videos on this song.
And You are the ONLY ONE that understands the song!
Loved your reaction to this song❤
Love your reaction my friend wrote this song. George didn't want to record it he said it was too damn sad nobody would like it. Now it is the number one country song of all time. If you take suggestions listen to chillesd in stone by Vern gosdin
You’re amazing- took me forever to realize he passed away. So sad. So deep. So real tho. Love your reaction and I love your energy and spirit 😊
Thanks so much.
Loved your reaction...thanks for the song!
Thanks alot for watching.
Best personal reaction to this song on you tube !! Great job listening and absorbing all the lyrics and elements of this song people who listen closely are rewarded I bet you did quite well in your schooling because you pay attention !!
Thanks so much for your beautiful comment.
He went to see him at the funeral home, and he was dead, and dressed up in his burial suit, and he had a smile on his face that the funeral Director put on it! She went to see him at the funeral home, and they carried him away
The legendary George Jones sings up an emotional roller coaster ride of a love gone wrong. We climb to a height and rush down towards feelings of a fragile optimism that is short lived. George will get the tears rolling at the close. Truly a masterful performance
Amazing how a lady who appears to have English as a second language caught immediately the meaning of the sad lyrics, I have seen many others native English speakers totally miss it.
Congratulations fair lady!!
So beautiful in every way-thank you for your commentary!
Glad you got it..some reviewers dont get it.. but the first line tells it all
React to more George Jones and also react to Alan Jackson Joe Diffie Vern Gosdin Conway Twitty Glen Campbell Doug Stone Tracy Byrd for even more old country songs that’s forgotten by millions and millions. Let bring em back to gen z like me😄😁😊😆
He said he’d love her till he died. He wasn’t lying
George has another rare song similar to this called 'A Place Out In The Country' - also a great song
This also happened with my husband.
You actually got it faster than anyone I’ve ever seen. You could feel it from the beginning.
Thanks so much for watching
True love never dies.
I tip my hat to you…Nailed It!
Thank you for watching
So glad you got the meaning of this song. He wrote about his wife Tammy Wynett. Alan Jackson sang this song at George's funeral.
Great job! You listened to a legend and understood the lyrics, so many don't get it. I had to subscribe, I look forward to more reactions.
The effects of country music!
You r beautiful!! And I love your voice and accent 😍😍
Thanks so much.
😁
That voice. RIP sir
Would a happy person, like yourself, like another sad song? Mac Davis - "Whoever Finds This, I Love You"
This has to be the best reaction video of this song I have seen. You are a very caring person. God Bless and I liked and subbed. Thank you my friend^^
Thank you so much for your kind words.
The love he is speaking of was Tammy wynette they had fell in love in the 1960s and had married in 1965 and some years later in 1978 she had devorced him but even then she was very much in love with George just as the day they had first met .the reason she devorced George was because he had a drinking problem but as I said they were still very much in love until the end until they took there last breath .true love in every way
when u went back and started it from the beginning...that's when i hit Subscribe
Love this song. George Jones is the Father or Grandfather of Country Music.
I been divorced 26 years and I still love her and will till I die, hoping she will find her way home
😭 so sad. Be consoled sir.
Damn, James! You made me cry. I too hope she finds her way back to you.
I enjoyed sharing this with you this second time. I can't tell you how many reactors talk over key phrases and don't get it. You reacted the same as I when I heard it first time. I still shed a tear when I listen to this song and I've heard it dozens of times. Good on you, ma'am.
I subbed! Great reaction, great song!
Gabriel thank you for reacting to my music from years ago. I love you and your reactions.
I subbed today. Thank you for your reaction and your smile.
Thanks so much.
great song and I love her accent
A good song of George Jones is "She was hotter than a two dollar pistol".
A beautiful classic. Have you reacted to Whiskey Lullaby by Allison Krause and Brad Paisley? It will haunt you. Oh... MERRY CHRISTMAS! LOVE YOUR REACTIONS. 💚❤️
Like somebody else said I've seen other people react to this and they didn't get the song at all I'm glad that you did
Thanks for watching.
A song that almost wasn't. George initially refused to record the song, because he thought people would find it too macabre. He eventually did record the greatest country love song in music. You caught it quick, he died.
He finally got over her when he passed away
So many people do not understand placing a wreath upon his door. Maybe it's just a Southern thing.
Why do we like sad songs so much
Cool reaction and some one who understand it alot of people who react to is to young to understand the meaning of it till the listen to it a couple times or someone points it out to them
LoL, the look these kids get on their face when they realize why he stopped loving her is priceless
And women say men never mean what they say .
The narrative...."The song centers around a man who never ceases to love a woman despite her departure from his life. His surroundings become a shrine to her memory, preserving everything as it was when she was still with him, in hopes of her return. His friends observe his torment and yearn for his liberation from the sorrow that’s enshrouded him. The twist arrives in the chorus, revealing that he indeed stopped loving her, but only through his death. It’s a sorrowful ode to undying love, portraying an emotive picture of commitment, despair, and the inescapable pain that sometimes accompanies unreciprocated affection. FACT....Interestingly, Jones was initially reluctant to record the song. He thought it was too morose and was skeptical of its potential success." The song was penned by Bobby Braddock and Curly Putman.
glad she got the story, I seen so many on there dont even know he died and dont understand the song
Amazing reaction! Subbed & liked
Thanks so much.
This was my Daddy thru and threw. He loved my Momma until the day he died.
Pure country story telling. Listen to his song Choices and Johnny Cash's song Hurt.
songwriter Bobby Braddock
Great reaction. Thanks for listening.
Thanks for watching.
The first line is the clue.
Very good reaction video.
Thanks for watching.
You should listen to wine colored roses
You're one of the few that understood he passed but you didn't under the beginning. Where she left him and he never stopped loving her.
He was married to. TAMMY wynette a long time. He had a serious addiction problem (alcohol). I'm not sure but I think the addiction was the reason why they divorced I'm not for sure of course. So I imagine he did love her. But addictions can ruin lives
I started watching you today. I hope you think that it's okay. I love your reaction to this song, I think I'll come back and I'll stay.
Thanks for watching.
You understood the lyrics. Yes, HE DIED!!
Reading the comment section from people saying oh he died and I just figured that out what do you think they carried him away meant 🤔
It happens in real life
