  • Storm - The Dragon Legend is the new-for-2023 steel coaster at TusenFryd in Norway. This is a weird multi-launch inverted coaster from Gerstlauer, the company's first invert. This ride features 3 launches, 3 inversions, and a powerful bunny hill. Find out why this is Norway's best coaster in this review!

Gerstlauer is my favorite manufacturer. I feel like they have some of the strongest launches in the industry, amazing drawn out or uniquely profiled inversions (If we ignore RMC, Gerstlauer also does barrel rolls very well). But I personally absolutely love the Eurofighter model/infinity coasters, they’re one my favorite models. I like that they’re still experimenting

@@CanobieCoasterKärnan is 8 years old now and there is still no ride remotely similar to it. I think Gerstlauer and especially its infinity coasters have a unique capability of building unique rides. I am very interested in Mack's new Stryker Coasters, this could be a similarly versatile model

This is a really fun ride, but it is a little bit short. Thankfully when we had ERT they were running it for 2 laps like Galeforce. That really makes it a more complete experience. I hope we see more of these in the future. Perhaps a Volcano replacement...?

My home park (Hansa-Park) has a great relationship with Gerstlauer, and I would really love to see an invert there after "Der Schwur des Kärnan". They are building a newly themed area, and I hope that a Gerstlauer invert will be a part of it, rattle or not ;-) But I agree, having a rattle in the first year of operation makes you think. I hope that they can use the prototype to improve on their next invert. Thanks again for your well-structured reviews!

Opinions on this ride were mixed in my group:
Some considered it too bumpy and uncomfortable, while I found the roughness bearable and the restraints quite comfy and appreciated the high intensity. I would also give a 7 out of 10 - a solid ride!
