What sucks about all these new master planned communities is the high HOA as well as the MUD / PID taxes. Might price many buyers out of this market. The economy sucks and will continue to suck for sometime.
@@cobrabtc HOAs around here are $40 to $120 a month on the high end. That’s cheap for what you get in some of these neighborhoods! People come from other states paying triple that with less amenities. There are actually areas with MUD and PID taxes that are lower than some areas without those taxes. Many of them recently dropped significantly. This neighborhood for instance was a 3% tax rate and is now around 2.5%. There is also the new homestead exemption that takes off $100,000 off the assessed value that helps as well! If you want to see high tax rates the Houston around is around mid 3s to almost 4 from what I have seen. Thanks for watching and commenting!
