I bought a house in Prosper after looking houses in Plano, Frisco and Prosper. I Love living in Prosper and no regret! There is no Frisco VS Prosper. Frisco is now developing as a city center of DFFW, and Prosper is growing as a suburb of Frisco. I love how safe, clean and new Prosper is . I think closer the house is to new tollway, better as investment. If someone wants city life style, choose Frisco. If someone wants suburb life style, choose Prosper!
If you don’t mind me asking what do you do for a living and how much do you make? I ask because I’d love to move to Prosper from California but Prosper seems to be extremely expensive. I’m just curious how people are able to afford homes in that area and how much I need to make to be able to afford a home in that area. Thanks!
@@noeeortiz9073I see Californian people everywhere around here. Especially at new mordern design house subdivisions. I think many people from California or other big cities sold their properties there and bought a house here with the equities the previous house made. I also see many IT people ( Tesla everywhere) and medical professionals. I am a housewife, and my husband’s net pay is like $18000/ month after tax.
Will there be an updated video of Royse City in the near future since so much has changed? Their high school has 3000 students now most of their master planned communities are finished etc?

Prosper actually has 5 middle schools. There opening a new middle school in fall of 2024 which i will be attending, its called Daniel L jones Middle school, its in frisco but its part of prosper isd.
Very good analysis as I live in Prosper now, having looked at Frisco, I thought the $1M housing market and upside is a bit better than Frisco. I think Fields is the only MCP left in the Frisco, thus I thought Prosper was a better long term investment with less capital, thoughts?
Thanks for sharing! Prosper does have a lot going for it, especially with the current market and fewer MCP options in Frisco. Additionally, considering things like school ratings, commute times, and community services might also help in making a well-rounded decision. How do those aspects compare for you?
@@LIVINGINDALLAS We're empty nesters, so we bought for retirement and potential rental income down the road. Prosper is also going to change a lot with the hyper growth we've seen so far. Glad you live in Prosper too!
Prosper median price is higher yet you are stating that it's priced "low to attract the buyers to the area". How much do you expect Prosper to appreciate exactly?
You're right about the median price. However, pricing can still be attractive compared to future potential. As for appreciation, it's hard to predict exact numbers, but the area’s growth suggests solid long-term gains. what brings you to the channel?
Frisco and Prosper may be receiving excessive hype and overrating. In the Dallas area, there are numerous towns with schools of similar or higher quality and more reasonable home prices, such as Wylie, Argyle, Flower Mound, Coppell, Northlake, and Roanoke. I advise potential buyers to be cautious and explore all options before committing to Frisco or Prosper.
Your categories are flawed: Size, Location, Economy. People select Prosper for many of the positives you gave Frisco. We move to Prosper because of its small community size and its distance from Dallas. Equally, no one moves to Prosper to work in Prosper, so we’re not here for its Economy. I absolutely love both of these cities, but the recent development of Frisco and increase of traffic in and around Frisco would drive me to Prosper. Finally, Schools. The population and development of Frisco has been growing for over 20 years. So it’s number of schools and parks would of course be more than Prosper. I believe selecting either one of the cities is a win. But when you compare them, use relevant comparisons.
These are the metrics people care about the most! So, I wanted to make sure someone unfamiliar with the area had the answers. What metrics would you rather see?

I would like to see Frisco compared to a city that's more along its line of growth and development. Prosper has a higher ceiling, but Frisco is farther down the road. Maybe McKinney TX. could be a better comparison. However, I enjoyed the episode
Dare I say Proper is like a suburb of Frisco. I know that doesn’t make sense as both are individual cities and both are technically suburbs of Dallas. It’s just that Frisco with all the commercial development and jobs acts as the city and Proper will be more residential.
Hey there! I appreciate you tuning in! However, a lot of people might disagree with you on that. The fact is, what you can do with your day and time only requires some imagination.
The only thing you can’t do here is outdoor activities like hiking in the mountains or going to the ocean. Outside of that, what would you be doing on a daily basis in another city that you can’t do here? Keep in mind I’m 47 and have lived in several places and I’m not from Texas! I’ll wait!
@Aggie4life77 Everyone has a right to their opinion, and it sounds like right off the bat you being an Aggie...Tx is your home and you love it here. That's good and that's good for you. Me, born and raised here...moved to California and California, felt like home to me...I lived behind a mountain...hiked all the time, at the beach...every weekend, campfires on the beach... the beauty of the desert at Joshua Tree or 29 Palms,...palm trees, Bougainvilleas, sometimes I'd get off of work and walk through Laguna Beach... the landscape their was beautiful... the vibe their is different. Here it's a flat, concrete jungle. And people from Cali get it...life throws curveballs at you and you just got to deal with it. I'm happy for you that you feel at home here...bc I know what that feels like.
