Nice discussion of Dallas and it's suburbs, but no mention of Fort Worth and its environs. Panther Island, the green trails from Fort Worth to Arlington--and eventually to Dallas, and the Arlington Entertainment District upgrades should be discussed.
Nice positive video. The reality, eh... Dallas is not lacking paved biking trails. Someone's long been making a ton of money building hundreds of miles of them over the years. Outdoor enthusiasts are about the lakes, kayaking creeks, wilderness areas. Mountain biking is decent here, but comes at a heavy cost to our limited wild areas. Forested areas are generally trash strewn and completely overgrown with invasive privet. They still sell privet in all the local garden stores as if nothing's wrong with that. The creek system is potentially a huge asset, but the cities use it for raw sewage overflow. So at least the major arteries are really bad. The overarching problem is pretty simple. Due to the culture, nothing significant happens here unless there's a way to turn a profit.
The “ We Full” Southern city comments are annoying. Love your video; creating them takes work. As a New Yorker, I am Amazed and Highly Interested in DFW growth. God Bless. The Universal theme park and The Fields alone.
@@elegantempress1395No one is ruining anything. That's the cycle of life. People are free to move where they want and DFW is a good place for those looking for good jobs.
Along with the discussion of beaches, you should mention Sapphire Bay Falls development in Rowlett Texas which is a mixed use development being built along Lake Ray Hubbard.
I like the fact I have lived the majority of my life in Dallas, and I have to pay a monthly fee if I want to use the local park down the street. Yeah I can walk around outside for free, but I can also walk around my backyard for free minus all the exorbitant taxes to pay for the free parks for everybody.

Why did you not mention the ‘in construction’ trail for biking and walking stretching front Dallas to Ft Worth? It even includes art work funded by many well known art institutions and corporations.
Why is everything being build north? There is so much open space in the southern parts like South Grand Prairie, Duncanville, Desoto, Red Oak, Hutchins, Seagoville and other areas. They're just using the name Dallas to attract more visitors.
Nah we don't need our taxes to go any higher with new construction around red oak. Taxes are only getting higher and the people don't benefit from that.
All of this money being spent should be spent to help the homeless, schools, and what about neighborhoods that are suffering? The cost of living in Dallas is going to be so high that a lot of residents will have to find somewhere else to live. I'm all about improvement but helping the current residents should be a priority.
So much money being poured into this and so much money out of people's pockets to be able to afford to live in these areas but no increase in pay. Even a Texas 15.00 an hour minimum wages not going to cut this either. I hope I don't see any homeless people living in this area like I do right now. The city need to be getting those people out and find proper places to house them so they can start with the construction
@@nonnomen2891- there is a major insurance crisis in Florida. I lived in Naples for 3 years. The taxes were not cheap. Horrible comparison as rates for insurance is higher than the property taxes I pay here in Dallas.

The video is specifically re: the Dallas area. A separate FW video is coming soon. Thx for commenting 🙂

And some of the trails end up in bad areas. Bodies are found all over certain parts.

Hi guys...when can we expect the interest rate to go down.
most analysts believe this year will be a decrease
Also, there is the PGA Golf ⛳️ course coming to Frisco.
So much coming to Dallas!

Been there for a year already.
I thought the theme park was going to be bigger like in orlando. But will be on the bucket list.

I saw Dallas with snow and ice recently. Question: Does it get more frequent winter-like, freezing temperatures than Victoria, Canada?
not even close
