I'm a zone 6 Indiana gardener and I totally sympathize with you about that terrible day in late December 2022 when we dropped from 65 degrees to -5 in about 8 hours! My huge laurels had to be cut to the ground but they are coming back. You have a beautiful garden!
I lost a few things and some died completely to the ground.
Freezes are devastating. We had a really warm year from January on and everything broke dormancy early and then a frost just before Memorial Day-Ugh! I had everything planted because we had 90 degree temps. No warning from news either. It was awful and either killed or set way back all the plants. Local winery lost a lot of grapes also. Z5a, WI.
I could watch your garden tours. for hours! It is so inspirational! Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
Awww thank you!
Absolutely beautiful really doesn't appear small at all! Thank you for giving me suggestions in your previous video. I really need more friends that have a love for gardening as mine really think I'm nuts 😆 🤣
😂😂 those friends are hard to find!
Exactly. That quiet time with coffee in early summer mornings is my happy place. Even if I am contemplating weeds, it's still the best.
Yup, 😂 still the best!
🙋🏽♀️☕️🪴🌳FEEL THE SAME WAY‼️
Oh my gosh, I live in zone 5 Ohio. You have taken gardening to the next level. I love everything about your garden. It's SO peaceful and serine. You have given me so many ideas for my garden. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much!
@@SoilandMargaritasyes, indeed and I think I will try propagating my one boxwood. I think they are deer resistant. It would be so nice to plant out without barricades.
Love la musica (15:27) so romantic! Your garden is so luscious! Love the placement of the fountain against the trellis.
Muchas gracias!
Everything looks beautiful Roxanna, all of it!!🌺
Your garden is beautiful…also excellent videography & music selection!
Thanks for visiting friend!
Just BEAUTIFUL!😊
I am so glad I found your videos! Tu jardín es bello! What an inspiration for me, I am starting mine from scratch ❤
Gracias!!!
You not only inspire me but teach me so many things. I just want to be your neighbor ❤
Thank you 😊
Thank you!
Great camera, beautiful garden 😍
Your garden is gorgeous! You have the right amount of rain and cool temps to make your garden thrive.❤
Thank you for starting your video with your Plant Zone!!! I wish other utubers would do this.
Your Gardens are awesome & I love your presentations!! You're so real like the majority of us Gardeners. Love, love, love your videos.❤
Thank you so much!
My hardy hibiscus doesn't show itself till around fathers day. I'm in zone 4 so bitter cold is yearly.
Lovely tour, thank you.
Thank you so much for your videos. I have a garden pretty much the size of yours and I am getting so many ideas and inspiration from you. I live in Northern California zone 9 so I have to make adjustments but I am learning so much from you. I also love your videography. You are so talent! Thank you for your time and sharing your love of gardening with us all. Blessings to you and your family.
So nice of you, Thank you!
Beautiful. I love all the color. It is so lush and beautiful. Great job!!!
Thank you so much!
You have quite the variety in such a small space. I’m sure it’s just not looks, but sizes you are concerned with and pictures on seed packets are not always true.
I was given a lime lights hydrangea last year and found the deer sampled them and not sure if it was because of drought and if they are deer resistant. I seen a strawberry hydrangea this morning on Susan’s in the Garden and I think I seen one in your video and it’s on my list! I’m using them to camouflage our stock tank rain catch. I just hope I don’t have to fence them from deer.
Have to agree about Lion plant, a bit big and not much show. For me it’s hostas! Our place came with the plantain hosta that gets purple flower. I did nothing with them for years and they were all around the house and around a tree. They are hideous to get rid of!! If one little piece of root is left it flourishes all over again, it’s worse than crabgrass. I think I may have to use herbicide they are that bad.
Lol, the Luna hibiscus I grew from seed are getting BIG! 😂 I’m not sure they will fit where I put those Once small plants. I once had one and husband accidentally dug it up because they don’t come up till June. I purchased seed and now I may have too many😂. When it rains it pours, speaking of which we finally got 3-1/2” of rain All at once Monday!👏🏼👏🏼. Haven’t had that since May.
I had to trim Wave petunias and others as one got white fly and others get leggy. They definitely grow either really well or really bad depending on where they are at. I had other varieties and put some in ground and some really did very well in ground vs. pots.
That Wave Petunia in the window box looks more like a shrub! Wow! I might have to try some of those next year.
Right?! So healthy!
You have such a beautiful garden; you must be so proud of it. God Bless.
I love my garden so much.
Your garden is so incredibly beautiful! You've done amazing work.
Thank you! 😘
Hermoso jardin. Tengo que ver tus videos de las hydrangeas. Mi hydrangea no se comporta, las flores estan en el suelo 😢. Gracias mija.
Gorgeous Roxana 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you Jasmine!
🌺🌸COMPLIMENTS🌺🌸
Beautiful
Thank you!
Amazing!
Thanks!
The garden looks amazing!
Wow! I must have that Mighty Mosaic Coleus. Where did you get those seeds? Garden is gorgeous:)
Check Pine Tree seeds and Outside pride
Thank you :)@@SoilandMargaritas
Beautiful! How do you get everything to grow so BIG? Strong and healthy?
I think I have really good soil here (great beginning!), I fertilize them when I am able and I am always taking care of them. I don't really have any special tricks.
Hi Roxanna, greetings from Massachusetts, did you get the red velour Petunia seeds from Baker Creek? I’ll love that variety too just from looking at them in your gardens and they would go with my house very well
I had to go back and look at my records, I got them from Park Seed.
Bellas..No tienes Girasol?
Si tengo bastantes creciendo donde tengo mis camas, creo que se ven en el primer vídeo que hice del tour 👉🏼 ruclips.net/video/71j8fhlGs7E/видео.html
What zinnia varieties are those? Although after seeing my zinnia look like they are on the verge of death in these over 100 degree temps I’m second guessing planting them again although I love them. I love watching you videos, your garden is so gorgeous
They are a mix of the queen lime variety (queen lime red, queen lime orange, etc)
@@SoilandMargaritas cool! I think zinnia change their look the hotter the climate. I tried the queen red lime once and they didn’t look as pretty as yours
@@marleneegan-hm7lr i always get a different hue from the red ones, the orange ones are my fave this year!
Where did you get your might mosiaic coleus seeds from? Boy I have looked around but they are an expensive seed.
I got mine from Pine Tree Seeds, they were priced decent I think.
8:46 😂😂😂
SERIOUSLY! 😜🌿
How many pots (?)/inserts of petunias did you plant out?
I started the petunias from seed, the window box has 3.
Why I haven't seen you lately
I am here :)
