The circular patio, surrounded by those gorgeous shade trees is breathtaking! All her choices in boxwoods, plants, pots is stunning. It looks like something out of a magazine. I bookmarked this video as my someday dream garden. The hardscape is also incredible!

This is SUCH a stunning garden. I absolutely love Joyce’s color palette and plant choices, particularly in the front gardens. Concorde Barberries are a favorite of mine, as are summer alliums and Bobo Hydrangeas!

This is my favorite garden of any you have featured. Joyce is a delightful lady and a very talented gardener. I live in a very similar climate and would like to know what kind of trees she planted around her circular paver stone patio to bring shade into her garden. Thank you for sharing this garden with us.
What kind words❤. I have a Redbud and two Chanticleer Pears. I love the Redbud, but would probably choose something different than Chanticleer Pears if I were doing it today. The size and shape is great but they can tend to not have a tree ‘leader’ which can create issues in a storm. So far so good. If I were doing it today I would have another Redbud or a Serviceberry tree.
@@JoyintheGarden-Iowa Thank you for answering my question about your trees. I have been considering an Autumn Brillance Serviceberry. I have heard they are wonderful trees. I also like the Redbud, but am not sure it would do well in a southern exposure.

In the back circle paver garden, it would look so great if you put the containers that are on the ground up on the top of the square paver posts next to them. That patio is just beautiful. Very well designed.

Thank you for this garden tour- great video and interviewer. Joyce, I just subscribed to your RUclips channel. Please do a fall garden tour. I LOVE your gardens- so stunningly beautiful. Now one of my favorite gardens. Please include a link of the arbor you used. Do you recommend it still? I plan to have a pink Eden rose on one side and a clematis in the other side. It will be on the north side and gets part sun. What clematis would you recommend that would bloom the same time as the Eden rose and goes well with it? TIA

Absolutely gorgeous. I love the foliage plants in combination with flowering perennials. Would you be able to share the name of round green and yellowish foliage plant behind bubble bath allium? Thank you
Maybe fertilizer may help the hydrangeas bloom?
I fertilize every spring but I was just watching something recommending liquid fish fertilizer when they start to bloom. I think I’ll add that fertilizer to my routine next year.

I had one and unfortunately it got a disease and died. But I love them. Maybe I’ll give another one a try soon.
