Just got a budgie as a first pet (first personal pet, I've grown up with dogs). My god does it give me joy. I was a bit stressed out the first few days because I was scared to do wrong and ruin the bird. But my god are budgies (and maybe domestic birds in general) satisfying pets. They are so smart!!! I'm busy to hand train her and it's an extremely satisfying experience gaining her trust. anybody got any tips? I know all the general stuff (don't rush, use food etc.) looking for some personal experience from other people. Cheers!
Estray One most birds love red palm oil! I smear it on lettuce every morning and give it to them! My vet recommended it for my bird.... you should probably do a bit of research before giving it to your bird though
Estray One be sure that your bird has a minimal amount of seed. Seeds can cause many diseases, including fatty liver disease, if they are eaten too much. Try to use mostly pellets and fruits/vegetables. Weaning birds off of only-seed diets can be hard if they are on it but the last comment with the palm oil on foods may help with that. Also you can try to find a bird's favorite treat by setting different snacks that they eat out and seeing which they like best. If you take this food away you can use it as an extra rewarding treat for training! I don't know if you use seed a lot but many people do so I commented this just in case :) There's a lot of commitment and time that goes into having a bird-friend but it's worth every second! Have fun with your new friend!
Normal as a Rainbow thanks for the tip! I figured I wouldn't fill her plate to the brim with seeds. I do only 1 layer and she eats what she needs. She flies around all day (I don't have her clipped) so I'm not to worried that she'll get fat. She also doesn't eat that much. I'm just now trying basil but it's new so it's a little scary :p
Estray One Yeah, seeds are good but an only seed diet is bad. Bird owning is scary especially at first when you're afraid to mess things up. Anyway, good luck and have fun with your new friend! :)
Estray One budgies are the cutest! I have 3 budgies. I recommend you to try different veggies and fruits once in a while and you'll see what type your budgie like. My babies only eat lettuce I have tried almost everything but they only eat lettuce and bread, they are so smart and curious. Change his toys once in a while and keep fresh water and food everyday, talk to him and be patient! Good luck!
I never even thought about having birds until one day my dad was like “here’s some half dead baby pigeons I found at work, take care of them” not they are 3 months old and they are amazing, although I had to separate them because they are both males and male pigeons don’t go well together. One likes flying outside on his own and entertaining himself by bouncing from branch to branch on my apple tree. My other bird just likes to cuddle and watch me do things.
We got a Budgie quite by accident, on Australia day, my Husband was gardening and a Budgie flew into his hand. He brought him in and we have named him Percy, after Percy Thrower the man who made lots off different bird calls. I have never had a bird before and never wanted one either. Wow, how much fun they are, we have got him a girlfriend from the pet shop and the two are totally bonded, the best of friends. I called her Prascilla after Elvis's wife, lol. I am finding your footage brilliant and learning so much, keep them coming, cheers,
last year my mom gave me a cockatiel as a surprise so i didn't know anything about it and boy it sure would've helped knowing the first few months. i've gotten the hang of my cockatiel but it really did take a lot of patience to live with her. now i'm obsessed with birds and now i am ready for a budgie and i can't wait to add one to my family.
Anna lllt I'd like to adopt one but can't really find any shelters or things related to that around me. So I'm kinda forced to buy one from a pet store, but I don't really support pet stores.
If you look a little further away than 5mins from home, you can find any bird you want, that you can adopt. What you're saying isn't true, lol. Do some research.
True. I did all my research months ahead and made to sure I could give my bird the best home. Time skip to the first day, I read that I needed to give it space for a few days so it can get accustomed to its new home... so while I'm changing out his water he climbs onto my finger and refuses to go back for 2 hours. (I needed to clean his water still and I didn't wanna take him out of my room yet)
The one thing keeping me from owning a bird: "I don't think I can handle having a toddler for 15-30 years". But that is okay. I can watch everyone else's birds.
We had a parakeet and a canary when I was younger. My mother has a phobia of insects and birds, especially when they flap their wings like a butterfly or a parakeet. We took the two birbs in because they belonged to my grandmother who died. We loved the two birbs and they enjoyed our company.
dont get *a* budgie. they *need* other budgies. the reason why they are so focused on mirrors is because they are extremly social creatures who cant match all their social needs with human interaction. its sick and stressfull for the bird to try and talk to 'the other bird' in the mirror. We can not replace this role.
Get two or more budgies! At your local pet store or shelter, there are probably budgies that come in pairs or a group. Don't get a single budgie, they are very social animals haha
There's a few things in this video that I noticed weren't really mentioned, but it also has some really good points too, still a good video to come to when considering adopting your very own bird. 1. You don't have to be an expert on birds to own one. While there a things you have to consider, you must consider them regardless when adopting any animal. There were things the internet couldn't tell me about my birds that my avian vet could. 2. Birds are destructive and need stimulation. My budgies love to chew, especially their perches and wooden toys. Chewing is great for their beaks, however, it is possible they can choke on stuff. It doesn't matter what it is, wood, rope, plastic, seed, fruit. If it can break apart via their beak, they can choke on it. It's like babies when they put things in their mouths, it's inevitable, you have to watch out for it. I left my bird alone for 5 mins with his fresh seed treat, came back to find him choking on something. I rushed him to an avian vet, they couldn't find any sign of infection and whatever it was he was choking on had either been vomited up or swallowed. 3. The best way about learning about the animal you're adopting is through spending time with it. Research only goes so far, but every bird is unique in their personalities and behaviours. Don't adopt them thinking that they're going to all be the same and it's gonna be a cake walk because you googled that specific bird and are expecting this reaction or behaviour. I'm a first time bird owner myself, I've had my budgies for a little under a month now, now I'm not an expert but these are just some of things I've discovered and taken into consideration as I get to know my birds more. They have taught me so much about themselves just by being around them. I've had a few scares with my beautiful little Albino, however with the help of my Avian Vet I am able to get him into the right direction to becoming healthy and happy.
Hi I have been considering buying a pet budgie for a while now and your videos have helped me do research and learn more about birds. I like the type of videos you make and appreciate if you make more. Thank you!
You shouldn't keep mirrors with ur fluffy little budgie there! They can start ignoring you and paying more attention to the mirror, they will think that the mirror is their companion and pay less attention to you. A mirror can also lower their sanity level, they will think another bird is in the cage and make noises and mating sounds for it. (I have owned a few budgies and my friend works at a bird care place, she says it's best not to keep multiple mirrors with a bird.)
Tiny mirrors built into toys often don't cause problems but mirrors can indeed have a negative effect. I stay on the safe side and keep mirrors out of my birds cages.
There are plenty of other kinds of toys available to keep your bird occupied. If you think you can't give your budgie enough attention consider another budgie.
I already have a green cheek conure and lineolated parakeet. Getting 4/5 maybe even 6 budgies in about a week . I've had many budgies over the years, they are time consuming but not that bad. Not as bad as my two I have now , all birds are messy noisy and I'm use to it. For me the more the merrier ..
I have a budgie,it’s bin living with me since 11.2017 and now it’s 05.2018. He can hop on my finger but only in cage. He is a very happy bird, his name is Wavey. The only problem is that his tail shakes a lot,but I think it’s just for the first year🐥💗🍓
Thank you, so many people need to see this!! So many people think of budgies as a starter bird and replace him or her with a Macaw-_- Budgies are nothing less nor deserve less and are not a starter bird. People should consider what bird matches them and their conditions.
I love my budgies. I have 4 in an apartment and my neighbors are not bothered by them. If you leave them bee their song is light and nice but they get stimulated easy then the volume goes up.
I had pet birds long ago (not this species a much smaller species native to north america) and they died 5 years ago, I still find their seeds in my room that they through out of their cage. XD Be prepared for a messy mess.
When I was a kid my friend had a bird.. well two and they were both soacidal one jumped into a bowl of ramen ( how I want to die) and the other died from shock
I'm a clean freak but i still have always owned birds, budgies lose a lot of feathers and are very messy but well worth every bit of mess they make:-) I own a linnie parrot now and they don't lose feathers like other birds they aren't noisy like other birds either. I don't mind the chirping tho i always loved hearing my budgies chirping in the morning they were my alarm clock ahaha:-)
I've wanted a pet bird for a while now, and I've did my research and come to the conclusion to consider getting a budgie. But I do have a few questions about them before I go ahead and bring one into my home thinking I've got everything under controle, I want to make sure my budgie will be happy and healthy through-out his/her life. *How long can I leave a budgie alone?* I'm still in highschool meaning I'm gone for 8 hours of the day, sometimes even 9. But I always have time after 5-6 o'clock to play and give the bird as much attention as I can. I'm also willing to get up early in the morning at around 6:15 instead of 7:15 to give it some love before I leave the house. I know that budgies need around 10 hours of sleep so I'll make sure that that happens. The bird wont be completely alone since my dad is home most of the time. But my dad spends most of his time downstairs while I'm considering keeping the cage upstairs. After school I spend most of my time in my bedroom (my parents sometimes complain about this but oh well), so the budgie would have alot of attention after school hours. Also, please note that I'm not always 8-9 hours away from home because of school, Yes I am away from school 8-9 hours on monday, tuesday, thursday and friday. But I'm 4.5 hours away from school on wednesdays. Meaning during the week I'll have more time on a wednesday to spend alot of time with the bird. If I do get a bird I will place toys in the cage and keep extra toys in a bag aside to switch the toys around every week, so that the budgie will have other things to play with every week. I can also put the radio on if necessary. *Where can I safely put the cage?* I'm planning on putting the cage in my bedroom, but my window is open most of the time (Its just slightly opened to let fresh air get inside, its not like the entire window is busted wide open, also there's a mosquito net, which wont do anything since a bird can chew through that, but its something I guess.) I can always leave the window shut if necessary. Its also a bit chilly in my room sometimes at night because of the open window, but I can always close the window and turn up the heat. I'd even like it if the heat was up a little bit, I wouldnt mind at all, because I have read that budgies need warmth to survive. *Is it okay to have a budgie when I already have a dog?* I have a 7 year old schipperke (He's becoming 8 years old this year). He's pretty gentle and doesnt bite or nip like most of his kind. He's well behaved but I do know that you cant trust a dog or cat around a bird no matter how gentle they are, since the animal could be unpredictable. I'm not planning on putting them in the same room, my dog almost always stays downstairs, I'm planning on keeping the budgie in my own bedroom like I said before. Even though I'm mostly in my room, I do spend a few hours downstairs for dinner, watching a tv show, spending time with my family. So it would be nice to have my budgie with me to keep it some company. But I totally understand if thats dangerous, I'm willing to stay upstairs with him/her if needed. (except for dinner because I do need to eat together with my family most of the time). *Should I get 1 or 2 budgies?* I want to have a really close bond with the bird, have it sit on my shoulder, play with it, and just have it bond to me very well. But with the 8-9 hours I'm away from school I'm not sure if I should get one or two birds. 2 birds will keep themselves company, but itll be harder to bond as much to them in comparisson to 1 bird (I think). I know that 1 bird will get lonely and bored, but can I prevent that from putting up toys, having my dad talk to the bird or just putting the radio on? I dont want to get a bird and then make it feel like its alone all the time, so if that would happen and it is extremely necessary for me to get 2 birds, then I'm willing to do that. But I really want that 1 on 1 bond you get when you only have one bird. I'm so sorry for this long comment but I just needed some answers. Thank you so much if you read all of it. And thank you for the help! (:
I cannot help you with all. But: You can leave it for about 20 hours with food and water for the day. It is not reccomended to have a dog and a budgie at once.No matter how gentle it is. You can have as many budgies as you want. I have one and its pretty happy because I do give him attention after school and trough the day Hope it helped Cheers
I have the same concerns as you since I'm also in school and sorry I'm doing as much research as I can before getting a bird (not sure which kind) and I cannot answer your questions. But im at least glad to see someone with similar concerns about bird care. Hope you find your answers (and pls let me know of you do 😂)
Jellyjules, #1 you can leave you bird alone for 2/3 of the day (i am also in school) and by budgie (Ollie) does fine but make sure you have a good amount of toys, swings, perches and maybe even a second bird so they aren’t to lonely when your gone (if that’s possible). #2for the placement of the cage I would have it in your room(it will get used to you quicker)and I would shut your window so no cool drafts come in but you can place it beside one if absolutely necessary. I have mine next to a window but it is always shut with curtains to help keep it warmer. Also don’t have a fan on because it can be to cold for the birdie. #3 I would say you should be fine if you have a dog. As long as you keep your door shut so he doesn’t wander in the room and cause mayhem! And just in case I wouldn’t clip your birds wings so if anything were to happen he could escape. #4 I would definitely get to budgies they’ll be much happier. And if you do want a strong bond here is what you can do... get one and have him bond to you and finger train him. This will take about a month to two months. Then get a second bird and during the quarantine period bond and train the second bird. You can then place them in the same cage and they’ll like you and their birdie friend. Although this can be a little risky I would say it’s worth it!Going back to why you are going to want two budgies is they will be happy and if their happy you’ll be happy! You’ll get to see them playing and talking together which is cute!(Ollie was my first bird so, I just got him /I’m planning to get a second bird/and sometimes I play budgie noises and he just lights up) that is just my experience but if you can I would definitely recommend getting two. Sorry, my answers weren’t in order, but I hope this still helped! Best wishes!!!
For me, I didn’t really plan on having a bird so soon. I rescued a baby bird by the side of the road a few days ago. I actually thought she was dog poo until she moved... she was so weak but now she’s doing really well. I’m not going to release her back into the wild. She’s a colony bird (couldn’t find her nest) and this type of bird is considered aggressive and people want to get rid of them. I’ve been doing a lot of research for her about the type of bird she is to make her life the best I can. I take her out of her makeshift cage everyday even though she can’t fly yet. I try to socialise her with people so she’s not aggressive. I will buy her a proper cage soon. It’s difficult with coronavirus lockdowns atm. But I’m really enjoying spending time with her.
Qwerty Imao no, you have to make sure your fish have the exact temperature, watch out for diseases (common), and check the water quality every couple days
mmm and know that poop gets everywhere! I had a cockatiel a while back and when we let him out, he pooped all over the place- floors, curtains, windows- also flying on heads and biting can happen, mine did both. Just be patient though because even if it's awkward and hard at first, they're still living beings.
I’ve been thinking of getting a cockatiel or parakeet in the future, so thanks for this! I’ve already been doing a ton of research, even if I know I still won’t be able to get one for a few years. But hopefully if I do get one in the future, I’ll be prepared and take care of it the right way!
I have a fancy parakeet and I know that his diet should be 10-20% fruits and vegetables, but he is just so picky! I have no idea how to get him to eat any fruits or vegetables. I've tried fresh and dried fruits and veggies, as well as nutriberries, but millet and another seed that can be found in his seed mix is the only thing he'll eat.
omg cookie is so cute I like the little cute noises he makes by the way I have 4 budgies bought I only bought 2 I never thought they would be a female and a male they reproduced but I'm happy with it
Bugierigars (also called bugie, common parakeet and shell parakeet), is a small bird that makes good pets, they are quiet then sun conures they can also learn speech and tricks. There is a rare condition that can make their feathers long (if so its a featherduster) and they usually live 5 to 10 years because of how long there feathers grow and use up a lot of energy and one that makes a budgie dual colored (think of it as a conjoined twin) they live there usual life span. (Please do your own reserach i am not a vet)
I really want a bird and have done research and lots of working to get what I want. This goes out to everyone if you want something you must work hard to get what you want and especially If it is a bird you need to research proper care and health needs and how much money you want to Spears on your bird
Your channel is overall a good way for people to begin to learn about budgie care. I just wanted to point out that mirrors are terrible for budgies, as they think they are other birds. You may think they enjoy them but this is NOT the case. It can be mentally harmful to your bird in various ways.
I have never had a bird but I really like them and I kind of want one but I'm not sure about it. My friend had a budgie and when I was in her house I was always talking to him and he was so cute.
For my whole life I have had a lot of budgie parakeets and fancy parakeets but my last one died and my friend has a Bluetooth Healed parakeet and me and my family are looking at heritage to get we are he got all the stuff for it or just looking at the birds to see when we can afford the actual bird and or nearest pet store I am so excited to get it😍😄😆
I think I want a budgie and my parents are considering it and stuff (mom said yes dad said maybe) and I have enough patience and time and I’ve been doing research for awhile now and stuff but as soon as I see these types of videos with people that already have budgies going “budgies can do ____, and ___ and it’s not pleasing” or “don’t get one if ___” then I feel like I won’t be able to take care of it right and I’m not ready even though I’ve been doing so much research day and night and I don’t know what to do here.
I love budgies... i have pet budgies.. they are soo adorable and i feel so relaxed when see my budgies...I think evryone should adopt pet budgies actually i according to me they are stress buster...

I get more confident of getting a budgie watching your videos, Good Work!
That happy dance the budgie does when a question comes up . I think that is the cutest thing ever 😍😍
I keep watching this video because he nods head well the music is playing it so cute
Ik I'm late but its sooo adorable
another tip: adopt. There's so many birds out there that need a home, and buying one from a breeder is so NOT worth it. Adopt, please.
Anna lllt it is better but it's the bird owners opinion
Anna lllt I'd like to adopt one but can't really find any shelters or things related to that around me. So I'm kinda forced to buy one from a pet store, but I don't really support pet stores.

@Anna - The closest pet store to me is an hour away. There aren't any shelters containing birds near me.
you can never bee 100% ready for a bird you never know what to expect.

Great video again!
Awesome!
*Keep up the good work and thumbs up!*
I JUST got budgies today and they have been quiet since they been here. And this help them chirp 😍

cookie (or whoever that blue bird was) head bobbing is the MOST ADORABLE THING IN THE WORLD AHHH-
Thank you for this video. I worked at a pet store and saw so many people not prepared for a new pet weather it was a bird or any other pet.

Not true and I have kept many birds and they got all over 13 years
What if I already have 4?
My bird looks exactly like that one! I named him Stampy and I got a female one she is purple and grey, I named her Sherbet!
I love my keets chipper and Chico they bring me joy daily
"Budgies like to throw the food"
OMG MY BUNNY IS A BUDGIE😂😂😂😂😂
I already have a green cheek conure and lineolated parakeet. Getting 4/5 maybe even 6 budgies in about a week . I've had many budgies over the years, they are time consuming but not that bad. Not as bad as my two I have now , all birds are messy noisy and I'm use to it. For me the more the merrier ..
cookie looks so fluffy , yes I know that birds can't be fluffy ... don't judge ❤❤❤
I love the way his belly feathers dimple up. ;w;
Looks like little cute ball at 1:08 :) :)
Alen AxP yeeeeessss ❤❤❤ too cuuuute
Cookie went full circle mode. XD
PopDrop your not alone #fluffyBirds
I have a budgie,it’s bin living with me since 11.2017 and now it’s 05.2018. He can hop on my finger but only in cage. He is a very happy bird, his name is Wavey. The only problem is that his tail shakes a lot,but I think it’s just for the first year🐥💗🍓
Thank you so much. I watched a bunch of your videos ever since I got a budgie for my birthday I got 2 blue parakeets
As a budgie keeper , I totally agree with you .
I love your videos they helped my with my budgies Perry and happy
That piano bit got stuck in my head.
Your tricks made my budgies healthy!🐦
this is the cutest thing i’ve ever seen
Thank you, so many people need to see this!!
So many people think of budgies as a starter bird and replace him or her with a Macaw-_-
Budgies are nothing less nor deserve less and are not a starter bird. People should consider what bird matches them and their conditions.
cookie is a cute name for a bird lol
I love my budgies. I have 4 in an apartment and my neighbors are not bothered by them. If you leave them bee their song is light and nice but they get stimulated easy then the volume goes up.
I had pet birds long ago (not this species a much smaller species native to north america) and they died 5 years ago, I still find their seeds in my room that they through out of their cage. XD Be prepared for a messy mess.
threw*
When I was a kid my friend had a bird.. well two and they were both soacidal one jumped into a bowl of ramen ( how I want to die) and the other died from shock
I'm a clean freak but i still have always owned birds, budgies lose a lot of feathers and are very messy but well worth every bit of mess they make:-) I own a linnie parrot now and they don't lose feathers like other birds they aren't noisy like other birds either. I don't mind the chirping tho i always loved hearing my budgies chirping in the morning they were my alarm clock ahaha:-)
You are a kind man.
I just realized how adorable they are
This is helpful thank you I’m trying to convince my parents to get one
I've wanted a pet bird for a while now, and I've did my research and come to the conclusion to consider getting a budgie.
But I do have a few questions about them before I go ahead and bring one into my home thinking I've got everything under controle, I want to make sure my budgie will be happy and healthy through-out his/her life.
*How long can I leave a budgie alone?*
I'm still in highschool meaning I'm gone for 8 hours of the day, sometimes even 9.
*Where can I safely put the cage?*
I'm planning on putting the cage in my bedroom, but my window is open most of the time (Its just slightly opened to let fresh air get inside, its not like the entire window is busted wide open, also there's a mosquito net, which wont do anything since a bird can chew through that, but its something I guess.) I can always leave the window shut if necessary.
Its also a bit chilly in my room sometimes at night because of the open window, but I can always close the window and turn up the heat. I'd even like it if the heat was up a little bit, I wouldnt mind at all, because I have read that budgies need warmth to
survive.
*Is it okay to have a budgie when I already have a dog?*
I have a 7 year old schipperke (He's becoming 8 years old this year).
*Should I get 1 or 2 budgies?*
I want to have a really close bond with the bird, have it sit on my shoulder, play with it, and just have it bond to me very well.
But:
You can leave it for about 20 hours with food and water for the day.
It is not reccomended to have a dog and a budgie at once.No matter how gentle it is.
You can have as many budgies as you want. I have one and its pretty happy because I do give him attention after school and trough the day
Hope it helped
Cheers
I have the same concerns as you since I'm also in school and sorry I'm doing as much research as I can before getting a bird (not sure which kind) and I cannot answer your questions. But im at least glad to see someone with similar concerns about bird care. Hope you find your answers (and pls let me know of you do 😂)
JellyJules I would get 2 budgies, you can still bond with them.
Jellyjules,
#1 you can leave you bird alone for 2/3 of the day (i am also in school) and by budgie (Ollie) does fine but make sure you have a good amount of toys, swings, perches and maybe even a second bird so they aren’t to lonely when your gone (if that’s possible).
Do u have it?
I am getting two budgies tomorrow Ian very excited !!!
this budgie is in breeding mood
This is the pet I need because it lives long and is very kind :3 thank you for this
For me, I didn’t really plan on having a bird so soon.
Love how the bird dances hope mine does that ❤️❤️❤️
Alen Axp is Good
Yes I'm getting a bird tommorow I'm Soo excited I've bee. Watching your chann and will keep watching it
You think birds are hard.
Try taking care of a fish in an aquarium.
Qwerty Imao no, you have to make sure your fish have the exact temperature, watch out for diseases (common), and check the water quality every couple days
@@ceiling771 Lol, I had tons of different kinds of pets and fish were the easiest to take care of for sure.
WeinerGmbh type of fish?
@@ceiling771 Neons, Black Mollies, Guppies, among others.
WeinerGmbh I guess for those type of fish you listed there are pretty easy to take care for, but saltwater fish not really the same
My mom used to breed budgies. I miss them a lot lately.
Wow you have soooooo many Budgies am about to buy a Budgie
mmm and know that poop gets everywhere!
But hopefully if I do get one in the future, I’ll be prepared and take care of it the right way!
why no to a cockatiel...? even I'm planning to a get one
I got a cockatiel for my birthday and his name is Astro! And I’ve done a lot of research! So he’s in good hands.
I have a fancy parakeet and I know that his diet should be 10-20% fruits and vegetables, but he is just so picky! I have no idea how to get him to eat any fruits or vegetables. I've tried fresh and dried fruits and veggies, as well as nutriberries, but millet and another seed that can be found in his seed mix is the only thing he'll eat.
omg cookie is so cute I like the little cute noises he makes by the way I have 4 budgies bought I only bought 2 I never thought they would be a female and a male they reproduced but I'm happy with it
I got a budgie a few days ago any I’m talking it slow and this video is very helpful
Your channel is helping me get ready for a bird! Im getting one like cookie and maybe another one thats like snow! Thanks ma dude! :D
I love how the bird dances and with the music xD
This is a good video to avoid homeless birds. Good job :)
3:18 omfg that bird is rapping 😂😂😂😂😂
Lol
Ohhh and lots of poop but budgies poop is an easy clean. they are such sweet pets
Birds: **bites when you try to touch it**
Me: **holds a bird with thick fabric gloves**
Pls do tips on getting my parakeet to eat fruit and Veggies he won't touch it!
Dawn Faialaga Try hand feeding them! My parakeets especially enjoy banana and carrot.
Try millet or wheat
To get my cockatiel to eat carrot I had to put a piece of carrot halfway in my mouth. They only eat food if I eat it lol
Dawn Faialaga mine to I leave the fruits and veggies in the cage and it doesn't touch it
Dawn Faialaga put it in the food bowl they sometimes eat it thats how i got my parakeets to eat apples
keep on making budgie videos they are really help full
Mine is super calm and nice

Hamilton?!
COOKIE IS SO CUTEEEE
That Budgie, looks like my baby.
LOl cookie is overly excited XD lol good choice XD
Was anyone else laughing at all the parakeets at 0:22
My birds love sitting in the basement window they are so cute ( I live in my basement with my budgies)
I have never had a bird but I really like them and I kind of want one but I'm not sure about it. My friend had a budgie and when I was in her house I was always talking to him and he was so cute.
For my whole life I have had a lot of budgie parakeets and fancy parakeets but my last one died and my friend has a Bluetooth Healed parakeet and me and my family are looking at heritage to get we are he got all the stuff for it or just looking at the birds to see when we can afford the actual bird and or nearest pet store I am so excited to get it😍😄😆
I think I want a budgie and my parents are considering it and stuff (mom said yes dad said maybe) and I have enough patience and time and I’ve been doing research for awhile now and stuff but as soon as I see these types of videos with people that already have budgies going “budgies can do ____, and ___ and it’s not pleasing” or “don’t get one if ___” then I feel like I won’t be able to take care of it right and I’m not ready even though I’ve been doing so much research day and night and I don’t know what to do here.
this vid was real helpful i have a budgie now
