I work at a Petsmart. I got my two budgies a bunch of the orange flavor millet and they didn't touch it. I recommend the non flavored millet if you are getting any. This vid is right avoid any of the sand perches and get a nice bird bath like the amazon circular one that you showed in a vid a while back.
Millet spray sounds like a winner! What are some of YOUR birds' favorite treats? 🤔 We spoil our flock with all kinds of goodies in TheHappyBirdroom. Maybe we'll find a new favorite from your recommendations!
I also don't reccomend having a cuttlebone holder with metal prongs to hold the cuttlebone. Due to the way the cuttlebone is shaped the prongs will always slightly poke out. My bird cut himslef on one once, so having one is just not a good idea.

Greetings from Japan. 0:53 Oh, my budgie (my budgies for generations, in fact), loves bell.😅 He likes to put his head into the bell like wearing a hat and to bite the clapper, too. I haven't noticed any metal poisoning so far, though.
Hello, how are you ? May i ask you a question ? How do your budgie's strusted you , do you have a advice to give me pls ? And also i really love your video :)
Don't own Budgies, but I assume it works the same as with Cockatiels. Did you already hold Millet or some other Food they like in Front of them? Of course not getting too close at first and only move extremely slowly if you even move at all during that. If you have a especially shy Bird, you can try to do that through the Cage Bars at first (some Birds can be hard to properly earn the Trust of though. Didn't really manage to properly tame my female Cockatiel yet but at least she lets me get close and sometimes feed her). What I also did in the Beginning was to only do Things in the Cage while the Birds were outside (refilling Food, adding Branches, changing Sand, adding Toys.....) but after some Time I could also properly do all of that while they are in the Cage. I hope this will help with your Birds😊
Are these items convenient with ringneck doves? Are there any that are inconvenient? The white blocks, for example, look like it would be too hard for them. They peck soft. Also, the snacks, hard as well.
Oh just wondering, it’s said that perfume candles and air freshener etc is toxic to budgies, I want to keep them in my bedroom, what should I do? I don’t have another space to put them
My Indian ringneck uses its beak when it steps up. Do you have any tips to stop this? It also doesn't want to jump to me when I try to recall train and instead it tries to reach to me with its beak.
i have the exact same bag of colorful pellets shown in the video. can someone explain why they are bad? i give them to my budgies and they love it, is the coloring harmful to them?
I believe from this video that the pellets are not the best choice because of the food colouring. I use those Zupreem coloured pellets, and my five birds seem fine with them. I recall years ago when owning other birds, a vet said that colouring makes it difficult to determine whether there is something wrong with a bird when its stool is discoloured. I will experiment with the plain one, but I hate for it to be rejected; these pellets are not cheap. Also, pet stores where I live mainly cater to cats and dogs, so both the variety of biird food products and their availability are issues.
Pellets is way better for parakeets or parrots since it holds mineral and vitamins compared to the seeds like alot of the seeds you buy has sun flower seeds and thats literally like going to mcdonalds kind of fat
How come? I had a bird when I was younger and he loved his mirror. I'm looking into getting another one now that I'm older and can take better care of it. Just curious the reason why to avoid mirrors?
@@Mason_hammer it is but there are some cases in which some could but its extremely rare, and theres no talking cockatiel as well, they are singing birds and birds that can talk are African grays, amazon parrots etc
Listen to these guys. They do know their bird facts very well. Great video and great advice Bird Nuggets

Millet spray 👍
Same LoL spray millet Midnight LOVES that stuff
my bird likes cheese (only a little, cheese is safe for birds, only a tiny bit!) and millet, also some vegetables.
I wish Pets at home had this kind of bird products, it's so limited and there's literally nothing there so I have to order most of my items online
Hi and ty for this information

Very helpful info. Also for whatever reason, the albino cockatiel my family has is also a rather picky eater.
My mom got my 2 finches a nest, because we thought they would sleep in it, we have 4 finches now-

Hi,
As long as you don't see your budgie chewing the metal bell, it's ok to keep it in the cage so your budgie can keep wearing his hat 😉
Tysm bird nuggets ❤❤
I avoid nest not because of breeding but because my first bird died by getting his head stuck
This is very helpful for my birds 😊
thanks! I just got new birdies and they might be happy for this!

I have supplies to save my birds, one time my male bird named "flor" got his neck stuck in a small toy
I had a supply to save his life

It's natural, all birds use this , even my tiel
@@iAmZenin I know its normal but if it does this you can't tell whether or not it's going to bite.
@@Iheartplayboicarti07829 yeah it's a problem but when birds are biting it bites fast but if it's using its beak to step up it will be slow
I got a coconut perch thing. It's held together with rope. Is that okay or should I find something else?
Thank you so much for your video ❤❤
Awesome!
Next can you take your bird 🦢 🦅 to Ulta !?
What temperature should my budgies have their cage in? with because it’s starting to get real cold where I live

One of my birds are flightless when I bought him he couldn’t fly and his wings weren’t cut 🧐 if u know why pls reply!
Young Budgies Probably Can’t Fly
@@Mason_hammer he’s not young he’s 1 year old and my 8 month old budgie can fly
Should I get 1 budgie train it then get a other 1?
Yes, this is the best way you can go. Get your first budgie, tame it, and then get another one and do the same :)
Ok:)
Is rio brand millet spray from amazon ok for my budgie? There is no honey or any flavor it is a plain millet spray

What about the one in your thumbnail, is that dangerous?
Hi ayme a fan form Philippines 🇵🇭
Also if you’re buying toys AVOID mirrors.

@lillbill14usually birds who are looking to mate can get confused and could think thats an other bird and when they realize they can get depressed.
I been giving my bird the fruit pellets for a year now nothing bad happens to them but now I’m a bit concerned
hello bird nuggets my pet budgie do not talk like how common bird love to talk but me bird do not talk at all please give me some tips to help him out
Is he tamed?
Btw budgies aren't talking birds like African greys
