He clearly committed these murders as I have believed since day 1. I still belive as I did right after the murders, that the investigation of this crime scene was NOT properly handled on purpose. As Mandy reported in the Murdaugh murders podcast, Duffy stone and his team were involved from the start in this investigation . Alex and the rest of the Murdaugh family is a close friend of his and Alex counted on his team to do the investigation. Knowing he would not face charges for their Murder. Sled may have been called in that night to investigate but it is very clear to everyone that they did NOT investigate like they would have done if it were John Smith or any regular person that made this 911 call. They always investigate the 911 caller or husband of the person murdered 1st because most of the time they are the person who did it. None of Alex's interviews with police had any questions to this nature. Then receiving a search warrant for the whole property they do NOT search the home for clothes, blood weapons that night. Days later or weeks they search the home. Excuse me did they just ensure he had tie to get rid of the evidence!!! Letting all the people onto the property, inside the home and all over the crime scene. Everyone is very upset at their intentional contaminating and not even collecting or trying to collect evidence that would prove Alex did this. Everyone knows sled is not this stupid or sloppy. The good ol boy was being protected because of who he is. The family shocks the Hell out of me that they knowing Alex did this to Maggie and Paul and helping him get away with it. Do they not get that they are showing that they didn't love Maggie and Paul at all by doing this. How can they close their eyes and sleep at night. Maggie may be Alex brothers "inlaw" but Paul was their beloved nephew. Busters little brother. How can they show him such disrespect after what Alex did to him and his mother. They may not have believed it in the beginning but with all that has come out in the trial they have to know the truth. They should want Alex dads body exumed to see if the murder weapons are in deed in his coffin. If they don't then clearly they never loved Aggie and Paul. I don't care if it were my brother that did this to my family . I would want justice for the victims and let my brother suffer and pay for his actions not help him get away with it. For the rest of their lives they will be haunted by their actions and never find happiness in their lives.

If the state loses this case it’s because of the negligence, whether intentional or not, of SLED investigators and the forensic (lack of) evidence that they never bothered to collect. The house and entire property should have been a crime scene not just at the kennel. Also, including Alex’s mothers house and property.
The housekeeper stated that there were dirty clothes and wet towels on the floor at the house , where someone obviously had taken a shower, but investigators didn’t think it was important? Conveniently, any evidence was washed away by the housekeeper the following day, at Alex’s request for her to make sure the house was in order.
I do believe that some of the SLED agents were incompetent, either on purpose or on command.
