NO he wouldn’t because they don’t have money - period
ALL the kids were in the wrong. ALL the kids spent the entire night with Paul. ALL the kids KNEW he was too drunk to drive when they entered that boat. I’ve lost a brother to murder and a mother to a drunk driver. I KNOW what they feel. The blame lies with each and every kid who planned on getting drunk underage and traveling by boat/car etc...
THEY KNEW HE WAS TOO DRUNK TO DRIVE. The accountability should fall upon them for not getting an Uber, calling a parent, anything besides getting in that boat. Period
They ALL did the same thing. It could have easily been Anthony driving (in fact he said he “begged” to drive) so your telling me Connor or Anthony who were DRUNK could have driven without wrecking ?

He was extremely psychotic and demented. Have you even watched the videos on him before and after the crash? Did you see him smirking and laughing at Anthony because he was upset that Mallory was missing a? What kind of sick MF does that? Did you see him at the hospital in restraints? His own grandfather said he was drunker than Cooter Brown. No one else in the group was drunker than Cooter Brown. Only Paul and Connor went into the bar and had shots. The others stayed out on the docks without drinking. Trying to say all the kids were in the same state of impairment as Paul is completely preposterous and disingenuous. Actually, it was attorney Eric Bland that got more than $7 million for the Satterfield sons. He sued Alex's insurance called Nautilus, which is why Attorney Tinsley had to sue Alex directly (that insurance was already maxed out and no longer an option). Although, I do remember the CFO testifying about them repaying the clients Alex stole from while serving under the law firm. I think the Satterfield's fell outside of that threshold since Alex was the official defendant and he used his buddy Cory Fleming to act as the plaintiff attorney.
After the Satterfield claim, Alex was unable to renew the policy with Nautilus. There was just a measly $500,000 policy on the boat for 4 plaintiffs, which would have been an egregious injustice for Mallory's family.
Either way, thankfully the Satterfield and Beech family were finally put in the hands of dedicated, hardworking and very brave attorneys that didnt cower from the Murdaugh name.
