    Great episode! These fish fight with vigor up here! Learned 2 new things I will incorporate. The float with swivel instead of balloons and de-barbing the sabiki rigs.

    Will be on end of Cape Neddick for last week of July. Would love some advice on lures, times and tides for striper surf fishing. Will have a 9’6” Tsunami airwave rated for 3/4-2oz with a Penn Spinfisher 3500 with 30# braid. Thanks.

    How is fall fishing in Maine? I am thinking of doing some surf casting out there.

      Its not great since the fish start to head down pretty earlier. If your're in southern Maine then the season is a bit longer. i'm In Muscongus Bay which is pretty far north. We don't have a very long striper season however last summer was awesome for schoolies. Basically, the farther south, the better and longer the striper season.

      Cameron Newbold I’m in Georgetown Maine and the striper fishing is awesome from mid June to late September.

      We live lined them as well but it didn't produce as well that day. We caught a few smaller fish on them but can only fit so many fish into one episode.

    Let's be honest Maine's saltwater game is WEAK, without a boat you've got 1 species, and nothing big, with a boat you still don't have much more options.

      Even though maine is my favorite state in the world I do 100% agree

      Just got back from Maine and confirm this is true, I don’t think I’ll be saltwater fishing from shore in Maine again

      Brando Mac I mean it depends. I caught 8 stripers off my dock yesterday in maine. You really have to understand it and maine can actually be a hot spot in New England for the fishing if you know what you’re doing.

    • @520angling5
      @520angling5 5 лет назад

      Yeah bro I mean I just caught a 35 inch striper from my dock last night and also about 35 - 40 stripers since I’ve got here a little under a month ago. Come up here every summer and each year it gets better.
