Hey guys it's really awesome how much care you put into the fish to leave them healthy when they're released. Makes me want to spend more time thinking about how to keep them healthy when I'm catching them on the surf. Thanks for the vid!
Wow i remember this kid when he worked in his dads bike shop .... Community bike in the south end Boston .... Good people ...im glad he's living the dream
Hey Brian, I’m a fellow Medford guy! I’m going to book a spot this season, I love to fish but usually only get in to schoolies in Maine on vacation. Also I noticed where you guys went at the end of the video and wanted to say Patsy was a dear friend of mine, I’ve knew him since the 1st grade! I think of him everyday. ❤️🎣
Great video guys, I’ve never fished the Boston harbor before I’m usually in the Cape, but from the looks of it I mean it looked amazing, quality and quantity were both there, awesome fishing fellas...🤙🏼🤙🏼
@@ryanadams6180 I won’t be comin up, I’m already here I’m only 27 mins away from the harbor, an I only fish the Cape cause it is the best fishing hands down the best fishery, an 90% of my family live along the bay
@@KCsniper79 idk man I thought all the big bass were gone from the cape. Went out around naushon area and MV sound with a prime tide didn’t mark anything not even a few schoolies on the map. Caught some 30 inchers casting into the beach that’s it

Bunker, mackerel, and squid have always worked for me. Dead, though. I've never used live bait from shore. When I go on the party boat, we use live eels.
Got em!! I’m going to Boston for first time this weekend to chase some stripers. any good stores nearby where I can pick up swimbaits and other good lures? Thanks
Hey Brian, I am looking for a versatile setup that can catch schoolies all the way up to these larger 40lbs bass, any recommendations? I use mainly medium-sized poppers like the doc and lil doc.
Hey Thomas, I like the shimano saragossa 5k with 30lb pp ss, shimano southeast teramar in medium heavy 7'6" extra fast. It's a fantastic setup for the $$$$
Why isn’t Anthony D not fishing in this video in these waters his father taught him how to fish in Boston harbor and loved fishing fir strippers Tony D was the best stripper fisherman ever and one of the best at fishing n general and he taught his sons well especially Anthony bad move on the water I’m a little disappointed
Perfect timing of this video with the season approaching. Fishing anxiety has now begun....
We take trips with capt Brian yearly! Dude knows his shit
This is a great example of some good sportsmanship. Awesome video, awesome fish, and awesome information!
Glad you enjoyed it Steve!

Love the use of the rigging needle and bridle
Let's get hyped for the season! Can't wait!
Very responsible fishing. Great video!

Thanks! I actually married his sister. He was the best!
Set the hook on him !! I think the guy's been fishing once or twice. Treating him like his little grandson.
It heat of the moment try fishing with this guy you will understand
Stud stripers and great releases
Great job, but I will stick with Storm Buster Charters. Captain Vinnie really knows whats going on out there in the harbor
“blawck ahland, blawck ahland, blawck ahland….bawston haba” love boston folks lololoool

Damn I can't wait...I'm of looking at my boat with a shrink wrap on
Awesome fishing, congratulations. 🤩👍🎣👏👏👏
Thanks it was a great trip 👍
When they are blowing up and all the fish are that size anyone can get a 50. Do it off the beach way harder.
Oh no, the secret is out of the baag
Could you guys put out a video on how to fish a Tube and Worm some time?

@@OnTheWaterMedia Thanks guys!
Great fisherman with a lot to learn about being a decent human being. Lots of good Boston harbor captians, pick another!

Gotta visit this captain

I wish you guys would change that intro music.
Why
How deep do you fish ?
If the Cpts first thing to say is about properly releasing the fish you get an instant like!
What model rod/reels were you using ?
Shimano Grappler Rods and the Twin Power 5k Reels. More details at this point in the episode ruclips.net/video/lG_yXMBwBMk/видео.html
@@OnTheWaterMedia Yes I realize it was a Grappler, was interested in knowing the exact model Grappler.
Grappler type c , medium light, 7'10"
@@briancoombs9532 Thanks for the reply...I have the 7’0” medium light Grappler paired with a Daiwa 5K BG MQ...would that be adequate for these fish ?
@@Skolmann most likely, although the 7 foot won't cast as well.

You can just learn how to time the bite on a circle hook.
❤️
That's a small fish cause you're cheating on a boat.
Where’s all the videos of you killing it from the shore??
