My first big bass was caught on a very foggy morning on a live herring. The year was 1972, I was 7 and the striper was 34#’s. My dad and I were in a Stur-Dee 14, hull #6, our only “electronics” was a homemade live-well and a flashlight. She was powered by a Johnson 5.5 Seahorse. My dad still uses the skiff with a newer motor.
Foggy mornings or dark nights have always been my favorite times to fish. I do have a full compliment electronics now, and rely on them to steer clear in the highway our waterways have become.

Spooky watching the rod bend without seeing more than 10 yards! Especially knowing that Bruce is out there stalking seals!

Great Video! Loved the drone footage and the feeling you men convey while out together fishing.

Great stuff as always. Just signed up for the striper Cup the other day. Can't wait to run out the Piscataqua and hit the boulder fields and rocky coast lines of southern Maine and NH!!

If you don’t have a radar but have an accurate gps with updated maps would you still stay in or would you head out in this fog
