THEY'RE CALLED BUNKER DAMNIT! (Sincerely, a dirty jersey angler) haha
When they talk about all the boat traffic in the harbor it made me think of the time where my uncle and his friend went in the harbor on a pool float.
So cool! I actually put that crane up and worked on that building. 101 Seaport Blvd
That's awesome man! So cool to hear that! Thanks for watching!
I can't wait to be back out there this Spring!
Hearing "pogies" a thousand times really grinds my gears. We call them bunker here in Connecticut and Rhode Island. Other than that, great video.
Found your channel last week. Love it.
Welcome aboard! Make sure to subscibe to stay up to date as we launch new content this year.
Unfortunately we can no longer snag and drop! Such a bummer. Gotta save the species tho!
Is there anything to the head Tap release at about 7 mins in. I heard it is necessary to revive shad etc and get em going.
What rod were you using to pair with the Cabo’s because I am looking for a rod to go with a Cabo 40. And I’m from Quincy so love this episode.
From Capt. Tim " I use quantum saltwater's 7'6" medium, medium heavy, and heavy for everything but snagging pogies. They work for that but I like the 9' Nova MH. Stiff butt and fast tip with the extra length works perfectly. www.quantumfishing.com/nova-nos902mh-pb3.html
Hearing snag and drop will see 2020 as it’s last season. In 2021 it’ll be circle hooks only.
Not sure if that’s the whole eastern seaboard or just the northern states.
I would like to book a charter either on the cape or what you're doing now. Any recommendations I'd really appreciate it

30 years ago was the dirtiest harbor in the u s now look at it great
Very true @garyforman. Hopefully it continues to improve!
when does blitz happens in the harbor?
This was filmed in August but it can vary.
Nice
I hate it when people blow up spots over the radio
haha I was surprised when I heard that too
Why not just cast net a bunch and be done.
Looks like a baby whale!!!!!!!!! Call the aquarium!!!!
Thank you for the laugh this morning!
Those aren't porgies, they're MENHADEN! And if you were using porgies, the proper name is SCUP! And why are you saying "porgies" with a southern accent? You're in Boston!
"Pogies" not Porgies. On Cape Cod we say Pogies while Boston says Menhaden and others say Bunker. Not sure where the true dividing line is. www.capeandislands.org/post/bunker-or-pogie-menhaden-any-name-makes-great-bait#stream/0
