Teddy Peznola Check with the New England fishing journal. I don't know what the exact title of it is and believe that there're different editions, depending on which parts of NE that you're considerinng;; but, speak with some people at local fishing tackle shops and possibly even tobacco stores, which often carry a good variety of magazines, f.e. I forget the name of the journal and, if I recall correctly, it varies (in information) depending on which part of NE is of interest to you. I.'m not an expert with it though, only having browsed through some editions for southern NE.
Ask different places about this sort of fishermen journal. You should be able to get some useful information quickly enough.

No denying that it's faster than my method, but I didn't like that guy's method of filleting flounder. That was just wasteful.

Josh Blackett that's because your catching summer flounder, not winter flounder. Those are completely different species

that is like saying, I will go to Alaska and get 300 pound flounder, they are halibut, different species.

summer flounder are actually Halibut, so you cant compare to winter flounder. I like to eat both, but winter flounder are more delicate... almost sweet. so good.

Wendell Hunter I think you don't understand the aquatic environment. There's waste of good fish flesh with the fileting and discarding shown in this video, but it's not an environmental concern or issue. Instead, it's just that good fish flesh is being wastefully discarded.
