Striper is a great Fish to eat. Bleeding them makes all the difference. Fishing Maine is great, can't get enough of the coastal waters and the views that go with it. Great video!
I am subscribed to your channel. Can't wait to get back out in these costal waters of Maine. Striper season is right around the corner. All I can do is look at the water for now :)
Great day on the water. I put your gut hook tactic to use last Friday and it worked like a charm after a little practice. It must have been national gut hook day. Never had so many, but thanks for the tip.
Nice work buddy I bagged a keeper at Plum island last week today the surf was too rough I was throwing 10 oz. With clam barley holding bottom. Boat down with a fuel issue hopefully I’ll have on the water in 2 weeks. Question I’m in NH and the regs state you have to keep fish in tact for ID at the dock or leaving the beach. I live an hour inland and fillet at home I’m bummed to hear about the flesh breaking down my keeper I froze after fresh water cleaned. Am I missing something about fillet out on the boat or is just take a chance kinda thing thanks for sharing your videos are great
I keep the rack and all the skin chunks whole. Been stopped a few times and never had an issue. I break the rack down later for lobster bait. I also usually have photo evidence or video of measuring the fish.
What town in Maine are you guys fishing in? I have a boat in Old Saybrook CT. I’m thinking of taking a day trip to Maine or maybe Portsmouth NH area and fishing from shore. Any good state park/shore spots up that way would be appreciated or PDL kayak spot might take that up with me? Thanks I’m advance!
Pine point in Scarborough or kettle cove in cape Elizabeth are solid for kayak and sone shore fishing at the right time. Lot of sand to chase schools and protected ledges

1st fish was not an Over. 28” to less than 35”
Might want to recheck those regulations friend. It's 28 to 31.
