- I made a DIY RUclips Studio Rig to help me increase my content creation output from a few videos a year to hundreds. In the last year, I've gained over 200k followers across RUclips, TikTok, and Instagram, and this DIY setup is the secret behind it all.

This is gold. There is a guy selling a $500 course right now to give away the info you just shared for free in this video.. just subbed!
Lol why would you charge for this!
Great video! I also recently implemented an all in 1 stand and completely agree that reducing friction is a game changer. I’m also in favor of not trying to squeeze a tiny light on the main stand.
Much appreciated Matt! I'm still rocking this setup every day!
This was a great video! The setup you have put together is awesome. Honestly I’ve been thinking about trying to do something similar, so this is definitely some useful inspiration to do it.
So glad to hear it Tony! Highly recommend putting one together!
This video is well done. Great flow
Much appreciated
I'm just updating my setup, and was wondering if you had updated this in some way?
I’m now using the zoom F3 for my audio interface instead. Pretty much everything else is the same
Really helpful video, love how you edited this as well 👏
That intro super relatable 👌🏻
😅 glad it's relatable haha
seems you're using 60' softbox. do they have 90'? do you mind to share a link that's compatible ?
why do you not use your Fx3 for filming or the XLM attachment on the 7s3
Made this video before getting the fx3. And the XLM attachment was sold out for ages so I had to go w the Zoom instead of waiting
Great video Kyle! I'm curious how you power this rig... Seems like V-lock would be a great option for the cam, monitor, Zoom, etc. Perhaps even a Jackery?
Right now I'm just using individual batteries for each, but a V Mount is the next addition for sure.
@@kylemeshna I power my ninja, R5, and zoom all on one v-mount. Super convenient as long as you don't have to diassemble your rig.
@@Tipton_Wildlifeif you get a dtap splitter to every item, it should work.
Nice setup, Kyle. Thanks for sharing. Did you look at the XLR-K3M? Could remove the Zoom and the aux cable from the equation.
Yes I have! They were on back order while I was putting together my audio solution, and felt unnecessary to swap it out, but that would honestly be my preference since it takes some out of the equation and is more versatile
@@kylemeshna they were super hard to find for a while. Probably while Sony was building all those FX handles! Glad they’re more available again now.
Hey Kyle, just discovered you. do you use atomos ninja's SSD to store your video or you use Sony internal? also do you shoot prores for your reels or youtube?
Usually I just shoot Sony internal. No need for ProRes for reels and RUclips in my opinion
I'd like to see your gear list for this - and including costs for the things would be helpful. Currently the "everything from this build" section is blank.
Not sure what happened there... but it is included in the description now!
Nice Kyle! Always making me want to buy more gear😂
haha gear is the best!
Bro the setup at 1:00 gave me MAD setup anxiety lol - that mic fail is an awful feeling 😅
What did you use to hold the teleprompter?
Not OP, but those teleprompter boxes mount between the camera and the tripod head (in this case, the Slik 45LP ball head). So the teleprompter will be mounted to the ball head and then the camera attached to the built-in 1/4" mount on the teleprompter.
show me
It's distracting to see your eyes reading a text... but otherwise great video!
Show me :-)! Subbed!
