Yep, If you don't have a well coordinated team, Cait is a solid pick. She can funnel enemies and dictate the pace of the fight which is very important in solo where 10 random guys just do whatever they want. And in the chaos of solo q, whoever have more guys on the fight secure the win and Cait being able to quickly remove an enemy team member before the fight even start serve exactly that purpose. But if you already have your budds playing with, having more control tools may not be what you really need as the other guys are already doing the controlling for you. This is where Jinx really shines. When she got 4 trusty guy peeling for her, it's just a point and click adventure for Jinx. This also reflex the nature of both champs, Cait is the team leader so she can exert some control on what would otherwise be a chaotic skirmish while Jinx only has raw unadulterated damage. Without other teammates controlling the flow of the fight she won't live long enough to distribute that damage.
Yeah, the creators of Arcane made it mainly to serve the league community. Not only did they put in a lot of easter eggs, they wanted to make absolutely sure that the characters had the same feeling they have in game, and in the lore. Yet they managed to make it completly friendly for people unfamiliar with the IP, which I think is pretty fucking amazing.

Caitlyn makes me nervous at all times, and a good one will make you have to try to keep track of her, your team, the enemy, the crazy stuff flying around, and...the damn traps that get lost in the shuffle so easily. So annoying to do well and just...stumble onto a trap when trying to dodge something and well...DEATH. It's the same story, huge damage and some utility and range control vs just pure unadulterated destruction. In the lane, Zyra will have the upper hand but in the Teamfight, Brand can kill three guys even after he's dead as long as he already threw his combo before going down.
As an ADC main who mains both of them, I appreciated this video. Jinx is fun, I can play her when I feel tilted and just wanna go around shooting people. And while she doesn't have the coolest outplays compared to Cait, she still fills me with satisfaction after the kill. Caitlyn feels like a tryhard champ, yet due to her consistency I can still play her with some tilt, usually just csing, and pushing lanes, then casually striking the random ks with her ult. The amount of times I've done 1v2s with her, and won, is so rewarding. Maining them both has actually helped me out with not inting as Jinx, but also knowing to take risks as Cait. I feel this led me to a point where my performance is consistently decent at least.
No one even plays Senna and Lucian together xD their kits don't fit well together, Senna is more of a poking and scalling champion while Lucian is all about all in early game
Amazing comparison, really shows how much the creators put into these characters for their abilities to really reflect on their personalities, same goes with Vi--and they were all released in consecutive years.
10:10 incorrect, jinx benefit more from an organized team as she is unable to peel for herself. If she is protected she deals massive damage as she has to kite less and just let her damage speak for itself Cait can to a higher degree peel herself as she has a dash with a slow attached.

I would for sure say Caitlyn. One reason in particular beyond Caitlyn’s formal training is actually in the last scene. She breaks free from Jinx’s ties and holds her at gunpoint with her own gatling gun. And she handles it virtually perfectly, even though she’s never used it before, Jinx goes for her pistol and Caitlyn is able to react almost instantly, firing a volley of warning shots at the ground right in front of Jinx without hitting her, if Caitlyn wanted to, she could have killed Jinx then and there. She only got taken out because Jinx unexpectedly juked her with a surprising burst of speed due to her injection of shimmer. Remember by the way that throughout this series, Jinx only hits two people with that Gatling gun despite firing like hundreds of rounds at many targets, mostly Firelights; the big thug and Silco, both literally immobile. So it ain’t an easy weapon to handle and yet Caitlyn picks it up immediately.
I love them both. I recently started learning how to play ADC with them(primarily with jinx but Caitlyn as my second option), and that's partly due to Arcane being so damn good. And also because of what you explained towards the end. Jinx is chaos incarnate, while Caitlyn is more consistent and relies more one rules as you call it. They are such interesting character designs, partly because they both serve to improve each others personalities, which is why alternating mainly between them feels so good.
I still LOVE this slight thing me and my friends all say about Jinx, that whenever her passive comes up, she is just TOO HARD TO CONTROL, she moves so fast its hard for any of us to control her
I just stop If I play Jinx (not often, Caitlyn either, I am more Ezreal/Kai Sai ADC) when I get passive activated, I just let go of my mouse and keyboard. It's really fun how she just go in teamfight and shots the closest target tearing thru anyone and she just runs without it. I don't care anymore, ones I have passive, she will do the job for me

Watching the Irelia dive the Caitlyn at the end and fail miserably puts a smile on my face tbh. Great video as always. Adc is my last role of the 5 but now I want to play it lol.

So...can Jinx go over walls with any of her abilities? Because Caitlyn can. I thought you said "mobility" was about being able to get places on the map quickly, too. Jinx's speed boost is purely teamfight-related.
still tho Me as an assassin would rather have a Caitlyn on enemy team as compared to a Jinx considering Jinx can become a monster after taking a tower and then gets a Penta at 0/10/1
AD Player here. I play both of them a lot and Caitlyn is more consistent from my experience, but when jinx pops off she pops off. But even when it's a slow game for her, her passive going in a fight always starts the snowball and she's suddenly a threat and late game she is a monster.
these are two of my main three characters simply because of how similar they are in everything except built paths. they both have a long range skillshot with slight differences, jinx's q gives her the range to out-trade and poke opponents like caitlyn's superior range, they both have traps that catch enemies offguard and completely shit on zhonyas and characters with hyper-telegraphed dashes (yone, pantheon, tahm, and more). they both have a skillshot slow, and a long range ult that can ruin a low or half-hp enemy's day. jinx is just attack speed over damage (seriously, try a full attackspeed build; it's insane and the rocket speed modifier ensures you never 'waste' attack speed) while caitlyn is attack damage over speed. and now with the lethal tempo change i can run the same runes on both characters too.
Great video, as always. Hope the next champs you choose for this type of video are Kha'zix and Rengar, would be interesting to hear your thoughts on them
6:26 "Giving an ADC that much tempo in any circumstances is extremely terrifying." I don't play League but i watch alot of it and I just wanted to know what in tf are you guys gonna feel about Zeri then.
Even with runaans she does half the damage jinx does. She is fast and annoying tho. Like a weird mix of jinx and ezreal. Did I mention that she does no damage?
I think cait autoaim is a lot better than jinx slow ult which require more distance to do max damage The only use for jinx is when enemies are low health, but it's AOE and can turn a fight. Cait can poke or finish someone which is more consistant :D
A serie like this will be good Make a video talking about Wich darkin among the 3 is more valuable for the team I know there classes are different but it may be fun + I like darkins 🙂
I was surfing RUclips for Arcane content, and then I stumbled across this video, then I was like 'wait a minute, wasn't this guy a RotMG RUclipsr back then?'
Both are good, but I like Cait more. Cait has more skill expression than Jinx, maybe that's why. Also, Cait is not exclusively galeforce, many Cait players take Kraken when it's needed. Speaking of build Jinx is more oriented towards attack speed while Cait wants the damage.
I don’t play adc and I do have a soft spot for Jinx, I have ptsd and I definitely empathize with her. She just draws too much from Harley Quinn to really be unique in concept and range is definitely an advantage of you use it right.
How on earth can a Jinx ever compare to a Caitlyn when it comes to burst? A late game Caitlyn only needs you to step on one yordle snaptrap and she will annihilate you in a matter of second. Meanwhile Jinx has no real burst dmg, she just deal huge dmg consistently but in a second, there's no way she can beat Caitlyn dmg
Most of my friends told me Jinx is better for beginners but Cait is more powerful at full potential. And I just love how her guns looks like someone in the dev team just strapped a scope on an AK and call it a sniper rifle.
@@alex2005z Maybe because at pro scene they play in coordinated teams so it's more advantageous for Jinx? In solo you can't rely on teammates to peel for you so having a repositioning tool on standby like Cait is a life saver. But in a coordinated team you can focus on doing as much damage as possible since you are already covered by the team. My friend who play ADC always pick Cait when in solo or duo but will pick Jinx when we got a team party. And I only play enchanter support if I'm playing with friends otherwise I'll only pick tank supports because just like ADC, it's very important that enchanter support must survive the initial burst while for tank supports, they already done part of their job just by the virtual of absorbing the burst.
I've played caitlyn once and was pushing to plane tier 2 when I saw the enemy jungle (eve) move through their jungle. She was hyper fed (14/5 or so at that point) and had been harassing me all game with her Consistant ganks. I took the turret and then went to to the little bush and placed traps EVERYWHERE inside it. Let's just say it didn't even take a 4 seconds and she was dead and I wasn't even scratched. One of my favorite ever highlights playing league XDDD
can you add supporting to the metric? who can support their allies better. I mean this time it didn't matter but you have both dps and burst on there which gives an advantage in your metric to agressors and although making the play is more useful than reacting it's overkill
I do think you should also do Jhin vs Jinx (the title sounds better) cuz they are both insane their kits are similar and they both have 4 letters in their name.
Burst I would give for Cait, her strongest combo hits way harder in less time (about 1300 with 1 item in like 2 or 1 seconds WITHOUT HS and traps), but then Jinx with dragged fights hits harder
There is e scientific way to resolve the Jinx VS Caitlyn dilemma. One must simply measure and compare the amount of rule 34 art. Making sure to adequately control for Vi slashfick.
If xayah ever appears here, she wins the solo lane point, think it cooly, she clean lanes easy and his ult makes her counter of assasin burst, also, e can delete mages misspositionated and yasuo and yones blindrunners
Can we get Varus and Ashe? As the bot lane archers Rhaast and aatrox? As the darkin bruisers Maybe teemo and veigar? As the yordle mages Blue kayn and zed? As the shadow assassins Kha zix and rek sai? Void assassins Rene Lyon and Nasus? As the ascended animals
If you watched enough saber videos like you said, you would never say Caitlin builds gale force, but instead eclipse, her burst was and is always higher than jinx, unless people group vs jinx with runaahns which just makes her delete a Teams in a few seconds.
For all my top lane mates, think of Caithyn as the adc version of Urgot. You miss position and bam grab/trap and executed. As for Jinx she is the adc version of Darius. All she needs is one reset/passive proc and all hell breaks lose.
Even when Cait is terrifying to go against, I'd say she's quite easy to get hold to. Jinx requires a lot more practice to master, and I respect that a lot. Whenever I get stomped by a Jinx I get mad mad, but then breathe and accept that the better player won.
Nah I'd say caitlyn is definitely harder. The only mechanically difficult part about Jinx is kiting effectively with her high attack speed. Caitlyn on the other hand has quite a lot of outplay potential with her traps and net, but they need to be used super precisely in order to get high value. She also needs to be aware of where and what threats she needs to look out for, so she can place traps before fights to kite around, whereas jinx can just throw at chompers at a moments notice.
Out of these two, lore wise. It is Caitlyn. But in game. It is Ji- DRAAAAVEN!! Because Draven has what Caitlyn doesn't. MANA!!!
Yeah but you always run out of mana mid teamfight to press W to secure penta.

The only use for jinx is when enemies are low health, but it's AOE and can turn a fight. Cait can poke or finish someone which is more consistant :D
Cait can snipe with her Q tho
@@gbreuil1 My point is that when we say "sniped" in lol we always refer to long range skillshots like Jinx's ult.
A serie like this will be good
Make a video talking about Wich darkin among the 3 is more valuable for the team
I know there classes are different but it may be fun
+ I like darkins 🙂
i wonder if there will ever be a video comparing Red Kayn and Aatrox
I was surfing RUclips for Arcane content, and then I stumbled across this video, then I was like 'wait a minute, wasn't this guy a RotMG RUclipsr back then?'
what this man just said in a video jinx is chaotic like soloq while caitlyn is more organized like competitive play so you get the idea
I disagree with the idea that cait net doesnt match jinx passive. Jinx passive doesnt let you go over walls
Sona vs Seraphine? PLEASE, it's a must!!
Manifesting Sona vs Seraphine
I thought that Varus could also break the attack speed limit without the Lethal Tempo?
Caitlyn is def better shooter. But fighting is more than just shooting
Jinx is Strongest Teamfight ADC.
.
Sad Miss Fortune noises !
Caitlyn is consistent while Jinx is high risk high reward.
Give her a lulu or a milio and a passive proc and suddenly the risk is negative
How on earth can a Jinx ever compare to a Caitlyn when it comes to burst? A late game Caitlyn only needs you to step on one yordle snaptrap and she will annihilate you in a matter of second. Meanwhile Jinx has no real burst dmg, she just deal huge dmg consistently but in a second, there's no way she can beat Caitlyn dmg
Talon v Kata next?
Most of my friends told me Jinx is better for beginners but Cait is more powerful at full potential. And I just love how her guns looks like someone in the dev team just strapped a scope on an AK and call it a sniper rifle.
We have seen more Jinx in professional play so maybe she is the best at full potential? Altough a good part of that is having more range than aphelios
What about Nidalee vs Elise? Both are ap, stance switcher junglers.
zoe and leblanc
syndra and orianna
Jinx was the only marksmen who used to break the attack speed limit .
Meanwhile with old kogmaw and his 5.00 attack speed.
Can we do another one?
Caitlyn vs Jhin, who is the better sniper?
I've played caitlyn once and was pushing to plane tier 2 when I saw the enemy jungle (eve) move through their jungle. She was hyper fed (14/5 or so at that point) and had been harassing me all game with her Consistant ganks. I took the turret and then went to to the little bush and placed traps EVERYWHERE inside it. Let's just say it didn't even take a 4 seconds and she was dead and I wasn't even scratched. One of my favorite ever highlights playing league XDDD
Here’s and idea. Who’s the better King of the Undead? Mordekaiser or Viego?
Phanteon vs Aatrox would be fun
good vid :D
Should have done Cait vs jinx vs jhin but we all know that would be an insta win for jhin
I think that rengar vs kha'ziks will be a good video
can you add supporting to the metric? who can support their allies better.
Love ur videos both lol and genshin 🥰🥰
Jinx's passive is called Get Exited? I could've sworn it was called Get Jinxed
If xayah ever appears here, she wins the solo lane point, think it cooly, she clean lanes easy and his ult makes her counter of assasin burst, also, e can delete mages misspositionated and yasuo and yones blindrunners
only adc to break the as cap
kog - "am i a joke to you!"
0:13 WHICH IS IT!?!?!
Next id jayce vs vi, both fighters. Or viktor vs jayce since both can be played in a mobile poke way
Caitlyn is the best Runeterra shooter ever. Change my mind.
How about a comparison about senna and Lucian? I'm senna main and I would die to see it.
"prior to lethal tempo, she was the only adc in the game who could break the attack speed cap" *cries* i remember when kog'maw could break the cap
Can we get
Varus and Ashe? As the bot lane archers
Rhaast and aatrox? As the darkin bruisers
Maybe teemo and veigar? As the yordle mages
Blue kayn and zed? As the shadow assassins
Kha zix and rek sai? Void assassins
Rene Lyon and Nasus? As the ascended animals
I dont think They have lore interactions but wbu
Ornn vs malphite
Riven vs aatrox
honestly I think the winner should be that thresh player
If you watched enough saber videos like you said, you would never say Caitlin builds gale force, but instead eclipse, her burst was and is always higher than jinx, unless people group vs jinx with runaahns which just makes her delete a Teams in a few seconds.
Jinx is a late game team fight aggressive hyper carry. Cait is early game position and precision.
For all my top lane mates, think of Caithyn as the adc version of Urgot. You miss position and bam grab/trap and executed. As for Jinx she is the adc version of Darius. All she needs is one reset/passive proc and all hell breaks lose.
It depens, you want to kill your enemy or allies
Even when Cait is terrifying to go against, I'd say she's quite easy to get hold to. Jinx requires a lot more practice to master, and I respect that a lot. Whenever I get stomped by a Jinx I get mad mad, but then breathe and accept that the better player won.
To me it's the opposite, Cait definitely isn't a easy pick up for me
Nah I'd say caitlyn is definitely harder.
Caitlyn is better early/mid
Jinx is better late
Jinx's laning phase is super rough IMO. She feels awful early on.
You should do Rengar v Khazix
Those are my mains :)
Can we get a video about Xin zhao
in the topic of burst is the fist time i disagree with vars, cait has far more burst damage than jinx
