There is a lot of negativity around season 2 of arcane right now. Try to remember that negativity gets the views. Also i understand many people are upset that the lore has changed so much. But sometimes taking a leap means leaving a few things behind ~Ekko. I think Skarner and Viktor have both changed recently for the better. The only character that has gone a bit far is Warwick and ill talk more about that in my should arcane be canon video.
They would have just shown ekko and Jinx happy I assure you Arcane e9 would have been rate 9.9 and everyone would be celebrating it lol . though out us never a bad show , it is a masterpiece the ending just feels rushed .
@@Trish-im9pk jinx doesnt even like ekko in the main timeline bruh. remember before this meeting the last time they met they had a fight that resulted in her death (then later she got revived with shimmer). Also for jinx there's no way for her to stay in zaun/piltover happy she has to start over elsewhere. It's not about caitlyn she's a massive criminal and has too many lives on her hands. She has to escape somehow. whereas for ekko his primary loyalty and concern is for his people, his firelight base. He's the leader there and he's not going to elope with jinx (he likes powder in the other timeline not jinx in the main)
Bruh , I said Ekko and Jinx happy , not together , I know already what you want to tell I believe the both of them will obviously take some time before being a thing . lol
people complain about this masterpiece ? who they fucking think they are ? lol. say that the best animation of mankind history is..."'bad??" dam lol, if i saw one, i report the comment for "bullshit abuse" lol
About heimerdinger yordels are immortal and when they "die" they just reform from magic at the tree in bandle city the spirits made from magic the whole lore of vex is her trying to bre this cycle of reincarnation so she can die.
@@metoo7557 there is no rumor, riot already said this show would only get 2 seasons years ago and that they would expand after arcane to other regions . that's not what a spin off is
btw, the the "monkey head" that caitlyn is holding in the ending is exactly the one from the grenade, that jinx used when she fell down the hextower with warwick. For me, this indicats, that they probably searched for jinx or at least for her dead body because they assume she must lie down there. So i am guessing that caitlyn is checking the blueprint of the hextower after the search, because jinx body could not be found. Then finding out about the ventilation system, leading to her guess that jinx is still alive
yeh bro try to find a body after that explosion, the smile wasnt about jinx either. she smiles cause vi hums. people just cant accept anything, its crazy
@@marnie433it’s pretty clear that jinx survived?? The pink light in the explosion, the literal fact that we are shown air ducts in blueprints, the airship she wanted to fly in, the jinx style scratched text for the ending tag. Animation costs significantly more than film and nothing is animated without purpose. It’s obvious that these hints culminate in the conclusion that she survived. Ignoring it is just hard cope
@@marnie433idk on first watch I fully accepted that she had died but after seeing peoples reasons as to why they thinks she’s alive it actually seems possible. Way too many things suggest her not being dead but I can still acknowledge it’s a possibility, I just wouldn’t say “people can’t accept anything” is fair in a case where they made it pretty ambiguous. I know we see her fall and then the explosion but truly why not just show her dying on screen if she’s really gone…especially since she’s practically the face of the series, they either made it ambiguous because they want to let the fans decide which ending they think is more fitting for jinx or because she’s still alive and they want to leave hints suggesting as much. I do think they could have made the hints more obvious if she is alive though bc there’s the argument of “you can see a line of pink shimmer before the explosion!!” like um no I cannot see shit there are tears in my eyes ☠️ so it’s easy to miss and I do think if she is alive it cheapens her “death” a bit for people who didn’t catch any of the hints and fully accepted she’s gone
TLDR for my previous comment^ I’m normally the first one to say that people are coping when a main character dies and they refuse to accept it but this is not one of those times.
Around 1,5 her hight. But lets also talk about how if it were realistic, when Jinx walks away looking at Vi, she would have epically tripped over it :D
@@HK-gm8pe I think the reason she unbraids her hair is because she had finally lost her identity and hope after losing Isha and also for being imprisoned. The braids are a staple to her design and character, so I think she cuts all it off in the end to symbolize a new purpose she has for herself.
@@entgrove Bro, ya'll got theories for centuries, but you lack basic investigative and perceptive curiosity. That's not a "vinyl" that plays at the beginning. It's a steel disc. They were used in music boxes in the late 1800's in the real world. If you've ever seen a cylindrical music box, one that rotates like a tube and has those little metal ridges on it, this is the flat version of one of those, and they really did exist. In fact there is a company that still makes finely crafted music boxes from antiquity for around $10,000.00 a piece. You can find the discs around from various eras including modern ones anywhere from $35 to $100. It's Piltover, man. Everything there is gear-work related. Adding those music boxes with metal music discs is wickedly clever. There are no such things as vinyl record players or albums in that world. Go look up pictures on Google of "metal music box discs" and you will find a bunch of ones that exactly like the ones they open the show with.
I dont know for me it was a badly written twist villain...it would have made more sense if she knew that Cait banged Vi...then she would have felt betrayed but she didnt know that so I didnt understand...it came out of nowhere , I also didnt like Caitlyn....like wtf Cait....Jinx just saved your fng life and yeah she blew up the councuil, so what? does she still dont understand how much SUFFERING these corrupt officals put Zaun trough??And she herself who she literally stained her mothers one good legacy and released grey back in Zaun...knowing there are innocent people in there, Its like she still doesnt get it....and Vi....what an awful sister , moment Cait came with keys she wasnt like " oh no my sister literally just told me that she is going to break the cycle...she knosvery well what that means...she isnt running after her even if it might be too late I dotn care....you dont just accept your little sis unaliving herself and then you F**k your lover iin that same cell your sister was just rotting in and having the worst crisis in her life.... and yeah btw I have psychotic little sister, have had some close calls...trust me Im not even thinking about banging my lover while my little sis does something soo foolish to herself.... that s*x scene just was sooo unnecessary and felt like fan service , didnt make any sense for them to do that at this moment, also Zaun and Piltover suddenly getting along after DECADES of oppression was just absurd
@@HK-gm8pe So, if someone kills your mother you're going to be worried about how much suffering THEY went through? Are you off that shimmer? What's wrong with you?
Has anyone noticed that throughout the events of the series, from the warehouse explosion to the end of Arcane, Jinx is constantly being watched by ravens? Swain clearly chose Jinx for his plans, as in the final scenes, his raven shatters the remains of Jayce's hammer and takes the hex gem. The only person, aside from Jayce, who can turn hextech into a weapon is Jinx, who has just set off for Ionia. I’m convinced Swain will seize the opportunity to capture Jinx and force her to create hextech weapons for Noxus.
@@entgrove I could be wrong, but as far as I know, all ravens in Runeterra are spies for Swain's demon. Ravens with red eyes indicate that Swain is personally observing the situation.
@@padawan7756swain even has an interaction with jinx: “Faces fading into the flames. It was all her fault” Not to mention noxus has a track record for kidnapping kids/young people and “encouraging” them to put their talents to good use
Bruh I hope he doesn't take advantage of jinx the same way silco did and recruits her. i hope she actually heals and is able to fight him off and anyone else trying to use her as a weapon
11:00 what Ekko is eluding to is the fact that the Jinx in the alternate timeline loved Ekko, because he didn't give up on her, DESPITE the fact he was the one who gave the tip about the job that got Vi killed. He's referencing what Alternative-Jinx's actions taught him; she doesn't actually say it to Ekko.
Did u notice, ekko has the Jinx mark on his chest the pink X .. also jinx has the Infinity symbol of ekko on her biceps (right) in pink color.. also her one of her blimp blades has ekkos green infinity symbol on it. I guess they had some fun after he stopped her suicide.
in the Necrit interview with the co-creator we learn that Ekko told her about the other timeline; to help her believe that there was good in her. Maybe we will get a director's cut one day with some of the stuff that was cut. (like the extended Horny Jail scene that Riot made them edit).
@@blackouthorus1519 Cause it happens so fast that you can miss it and it’s honestly not that relevant whether she does spheres vs just panels, end result is the same.
she found the monkey head but no jinx, and was searching for ways she could have escaped. thats also why she smirked when she saw those airvents. that would also tie in perfectly with the placement of the purple streak
@ I agree but I also think, she smiled in reference to her thoughts of telling Vi, and then hearing the happy tuned humming from Vi, thinking something like "maybe its for the best this way" to herself, cause to Cait Vi's happiness is the most important. And Vi was seemingly doing alright, for someone who had just lost her sis and dad for good. I think it was the director's way of ensuring we as the viewer understood Cait didn't tell Vi, due to bad intentions, as in still feeling hate towards Jinx. But it just being for Vi's best. To also get an end to that emotional/angry part of Cait, and give us a sense of Cait and Vi was ready to move on and create a good life.
It's from multiple sources. It's not a direct quote but Silco says in the bar with vander in the AU "The greatest thing we can do in life is find the power to forgive." Then i think Ekkos interactions with Powder influence what he says in that moment. Ekko kind of screws up with Powder at first, then apologizes and they build something together. Ekko recognizes that if Silco and Vander can resolve their issues, then maybe he can with Jinx now that he has seen that there is potential for good in her through AU Powder.
Another thing you can note is after Jinx decided to leave the cycle, she cut her hair, which looks similar to isha. But, also can tie into how hair hold memories and her cutting her braids and hair could symbolize her letting go of her past, memories and Vi, as letting go of Vi would free her from the fight between Caitlyn or Jinx. I loved your analysis of Jinx, and Jinx overall in arcane too
i personally think the no braids-jinx is kinda meant to also suggest the rebirth of Powder in a way. because she kinda also resembles the alternate-universe jinx from ep7. On another note, if we're talking Isha, we need to talk about... bunny. You can see Isha wearing bunny ears in their hideout. The baloon that jinx is using to attack in ep 9, has bunny ears.
Traveling after her would completely demean everything he was telling her and what she was working towards. No matter the past, it's not too late to build something new. If he knew she planned to leave after the battle going after her would mean dragging her back to the past she was trying to bury. Were he to go WITH her could be a different story. We don't know the depths of what their interaction was after he got her attention. But he obviously had an effect on her. Maybe they both came to the conclusion that starting over would be best for her, but knowing Jinx often relies on the company of others, she could have asked him to come along. It would be cool. It wouldn't be a lot, but it would at least give us a chance to dive deeper into whatever their relationship is, since we've barely touched the surface even between these two seasons, whether it be platonic or romantic. Only thing is, Ekko is a Zaun character. More than any other Zaun character. His motivations have always been about improving his community and changing his city for the better. It'd be character assassination were they to take the chance at splitting him from that origin. Basically, I'm just saying i dunno. I just wanted more context with them. We only got tablescraps.
Heimerdinger actually can't die. No Yordle can die permanently because they are magical creatues that are eternal and respawn in Bandle City, which is their home realm.
@entgrove When post rework Teemo kills a yordle in game, you know, using the voice lines that the people who don't read lore base their entire knowledge of Runeterra on, he says he'll see them back in Bandle City, can't get more canon than that.
9:58 no words can describe just how much I love this fragment of the song where it ends abruptly and goes in reverse for a second. It sounds so cool it gives me shivers every time
There was another cool detail with Maddie that you might've missed, when she fires at 12:17 and the impact frame appears, we can see that she was actually smiling on the inside. People think that since Mel is an empath her magic probably picked up on her true feelings
I reaaaallly hope that we'll see Jinx in the next series. Also about that piano guy. I guess you're right. They never focus on smth just for no reason. They focused a LOT on this guy, so i guess we'll see him too.
By the way, if you remember Jhin: Mind of virtuoso trailer, you see that Jhin killed a girl at the beginning who got the same hair and necklace than Jinx and Vi mother.
@meatboy5714 at 0:19? How can it be Sona, she doesn't looks like her. It can be Sona only at 0:41 where we see smoke out of a mouth, but it's not the same person
@@zeldaxninja3214 They're making new shows for different regions in Runeterra. Specifically, Ionia, Demacia, and Noxus were all confirmed as being in the next shows (3 more seasons of shows at least, idr if they said that part recently but in the past it was mentioned that they had originally set aside money and planned for 5 seasons of shows, including Arcane). Having Jinx presumably leave on an airship seems like obvious setup for her to show up in the future in one or multiple of these regions.
Also, not only is that airship the exact same blimp artwork used in S1E1,.. it has one single difference,.. a clear BLUE line painted along the rear keel. S1E1 05m20s and S2E9 46m47s That girl (/Fortice) cannot help tagging shit!🙂

Christian Linke said they are working on 3 other shows set in Demacia, Ionia and Noxus. Riot is just playing 4D Chess right now. Get everyone invested in Runeterra (moving pieces into place) then drop the MMO! (CHECKMATE)
well, tbf, he said the team is considering all those places, not that they're all in development. i found it interesting he'd mention demacia and not shurima, considering there are more lore implications in arcane s2 related to shurima than demacia, but they can always just start a new season telling a completely unrelated story without having to connect it in any way to the first two seasons. was just surprised by demacia mention
The ending of this video made realize that it's not often I see youtubers talk about suicidal thoughts and tendencies. Something as simple as saying that that's not the answer and that people aren't alone can help at least one person. That was really lovely
Great video, i think she’s alive too. Her “death” felt pretty weird to me. I hope she becomes like an adventurer and we follow her journey through other regions. I hope she meets Lux. Regarding season 2… It did feel a bit fast and empty sometimes. I give it a 9/10 overall..
How was her death Weird, it was actually Perfect as end and redemption of her character arc I find it more weird that she suddenly decided „oh i want to live and leave Piltover leaving my sister in belief that i died“
The ending for her is growing on me, but I do wish we’d seen Ekko and Jinx talk more before they joined the battle, I wanna see how she goes from trying to end it to assisting in the battle. In an interview Christian Linke also implies Ekko told her about the AU so that’d would have been interesting to see. And I wish "breaking the cycle" had been brought up a bit earlier? To me, given how I do feel season 2 was rushed quite a bit (they did cut it down from 5 seasons to 2 and I feel that you CAN TELL) they maybe should’ve brought this narrative up in act 1 or 2 already. But I do hope, even if she doesn’t reunite with Vi, she will at least do so with Ekko, Christian Linke did mention he felt the rekindling of their relationship (romantic or not) would be worth exploring moving forward with their story in an interview. To me I understand her leaving behind Vi (for perhaps both their sakes) but I feel that leaving Ekko behind completely with no intention of ever looking back kinda weakens Ep 7 a bit, and the significance of actually managing to save her this time (the boy savior).
Caitlyn literally says "the cycle of violence will never stop" to Ekko in S1E7 to get him to agree to hand over the gemstone. It's also the line where we can see Vi really look and take notice of Caitlyn in a meaningful way. But, even ignoring that explicit mention of the idea of cycles of violence back in S1, the whole show has a very strong theme of violence only breeding more violence; suffering leading to suffering. Every time there is a big fight sequence in S1, it ends horribly for all involved, and only causes even worse violence later in season 2. It may not have always been explicitly stated, but the theme was there. Why does Jinx leaving make Ekko saving her in E7 less significant? She gets to live. He helped her find the will to live again. Just because they aren't going to be in each others lives moving forward doesn't make that any less powerful or meaningful, if you ask me. A life saved is a life saved. It's not about what Ekko gets out of doing it, it's about helping Jinx move on. With or without him. That's love, right there. Selfless.
Times I was brought to tears In Arcane. Season 1 finale. Isha's death. The season 2 finale just didn't hit the same...... until I watched your breakdown. Thanks for making a grown man cry at work... I mean the allergies... it's the allergies.
It's possible that Ekko is going with her. "Genius and madness go hand in hand." Pretty sure the undercity still thinks Ekko is dead for the most part. He's built a community and can continue inspiring as an icon on that mural so he could disappear without making a huge stir. Biggest evidence though is at the menorial scene he only burns 1 name: Hemerdinger, who sacrificed himself to get Ekko home. With Ekko's feelings for powder there is no way he wouldnt burn a note for her. Also he isnt at the memorial on the bridge but tucked away from everyone hinting many possibilities besides the narrative relevance of that spot.
That or he stepped down. Scar took over when he was gone for what looked like 3 months to a year. He doesn’t need to lead anymore. Plus during the time he was gone scar made peace with the rest of zaun and possibly made it to the council with savika (he was invited to the war room and it would make sense for zaun to have multiple reps. 1 for each floor preferably. Just missing middle floor) so it’s not even like echos type of leadership’s needed anymore. The firelights are in politics now. They need someone who can play the game not play the people. Plus echos like 17 so I don’t even think he can be elected to the council.
Mel is going back to Noxus, she finds Jinx there, they got in trouble w/ Black Rose or Noxus (maybe both). Our crew from Piltover comes to help (Cait, VI, Ekko). We are introduced to Noxus and we keep our fav characters. WIN WIN Situation. Who knows maybe... They already did quite a lot of changes to lore, so why not go all in.
I think you missed one more piece of evidence of Jinx's survival was @16:20 if you play with .25 speed where "The End" sign was made by Jinx you can spot a dark hole above the right side of the scene that maybe the very bottom of the Hexcore Tower where Jinx may have escaped into. I really commend the writers for leaving several hints that she lives. Great video!
I think Ekko learned "its never too late to build something new, for the right person" from his interaction with alternate timeline Silco and Jinx. That was the primary message he took away from them, because it rekindled his hope that he can save Jinx if Vander and Silco could forgive each other in that universe. Alternatively it could have been something his mentor Benzo told him once.
Mind you, not only is there a Visual Cue for when Jinx uses her shimmer abilities. Also notice the Sound Effects (SFX) when she Shoulder Bashes Warwick, and when the pink streak moves offscreen during the explosion. Close to identical.
Thanks for saving my day by explaining why Jinx didn´t die! Since Jinx has always been my absolute fave Arcane character I was somewhat desperate after that ending..! Good work!!!
The thing is I was like "Surely Riot wouldn't kill a character that is currently present in League, right?" But then ofc ambessa died and I knew they weren't afraid to league champions. But yeah Jinx along with warwick most probably are alive since they didn't spend too much time on jinx's apparent death + we don't see any dead body. As long as you don't see a dead body in films or series, They are 100% not dead.
surrendered but still threw her in jail. And you can tell from the way Caitlyn talks with her she thinks Jinx should be there. Not doing anything is still a choice kind of thing
5:07 Idk if it matters much as i also believe heimerdinger just got teleported / timetraveled but, he cant die. Yordles can't die, they are spirits and when they "Die" they just reform in the spirit realm known as Bandle City. Him saying "Back in a wink" could mean that he knows that no matter what happens to him, he will be back.
Pretty sure Ekko is referring to AU Powder, and her willingness to help build the Z-drive despite her getting Vi killed in their timeline. - "That no matter what happened in the past,..." [AU Powder killing Vi with the hex crystal] - "It's never too late to build something new..." [refrencing Powder helping w/ the Z-drive, with Jinx even noticing her signature toy monkeys] - "Someone worth building it for..." [AU Powder building it for Ekko] That's at least how I interpreted his dialogue initially. Less so a statement he heard from somewhere, but more an observation from a better version of Jinx.
He's using that experience as a reference, but when he speaks about things that happened in the past, he's talking directly about them. It's a complicated dive into Ekko's character because while the "someone special" refers to AU Powder, he's also referring to his timeline's Jinx.
15:35 for the smile, it's one information that should have stopped spreading, cause she's smiling right after hearing vi singing. The timing matches exactly, and she turn her head toward that sound. for the rest, of course jinx is alive :D
10:34 I think when Ekko said always a dance with Jinx, he meant the only 4 moments they met as adults were all moments where Ekko really needed to exert physical movements: 1. First appearance of Jinx in season 1 where she fought the firelights from the shimmer loaded ship 2. When Ekko and the firelights invaded Jinx and Vi's reunion in season 1 3. Their battle on the bridge 4. The actual 'dance' in the alt. universe
Incredible video man! Really enjoyed this and definitely gives me comfort in feeling there is far more evidence for Jinx being alive then dead. I'm totally okay if she's even just a cameo in the future series, just so long as we know she's alive I'll be happy.
Fortiche doesn't put anything in unless there's a reason for it. Them having Caitlyn hold Jinx's toy while looking at escape tunnels inside the chasm they fall into absolutely hints at her finding a way to survive.
14:44 Our bro didn't notice that this is Ekko's phrase... rephrased. It's always a dance with you. I'm always with you In the other reality, when Ekko says a phrase to Powder, she learns it, copies it exactly, and returns it to him in the same way. In this reality, she understands... but modifies it for "another purpose"... and use it on someone else. (a characteristic of Jinx that Ekko fears, and even refers to in the other reality... more specifically when they will see the Vi scene) 🥂
2:04 Small correction, but there are at least two fundamental changes. One, of course, being Vi’s death which leads to Jayce’s Hextech research successfully being shut down. The other: Silco found the letter, forgave Vander, and never utilized Shimmer to take over Zaun. (Shimmer might still exist in some form, but it’s not widespread.) I’d argue that Silco’s forgiveness and the lack of Shimmer contributes more to Powder’s happiness than the prevention of Hextech. If Silco remains vindictive and cruel, Shimmer is produced, Vander gets kidnapped, and without Vi to lead the crew, the rescue may still fail. There might be no Hextech crystal for Powder to explode, but the fallout could still be just as traumatizing.
15:36 IDK HOW PPL KEEP LIKE SKIPPING OVER TF THAT THATS NOT WHAT HAPPENS? I’m on team jinx is alive and I agree why else would cait be holding that and looking at the ducts but the SMILE WAS AT VI, cat hears her singing and she turns her direction and smiles followed by her coming to her in the room to playfully tease her about it
@@0000_v1 cait also took guards away from jinx to let vi break her out, she began to forgive jinx when she apoligised for killing her mother. I imagine she also forgave her more after Jinx helped save piltover and then "died" to save Vi

goated vid bro, I hope that the next series (prolly noxus) will include jinx as the ppl who watched want a "happy" ending. Like imagine jinx does arrive in noxus and at the end of the series she goes back to vi and ekko
If Jinx is going to Ionia, that makes sense. Jinx is often paired up with Yasuo in trailers. "You Really Got Me" and "Welcome Aboard" come to mind. One could argue that they are just the most popular champions, but that doesn't stop them from getting paired up.
i actually can see them becoming friends. Yasuo is another tragic character with a mission of redemption and forgiveness (to himself), maybe if they meet each other she could help him with his guilt. But honestly that won't ever happen 😂
@@CornRecords972 I did not mean pairing as in couples. I meant they are constantly paired up in terms of gameplay, trailers, events, skin-lines, alternate universes, etc. If you did want to pair them up as couples, Jinx is 22-25 in Game, where Yasuo is 28-34. There is no concrete evidence on anyone's age, and any article I try to look up just gives guesses and estimates. Edit: A Reddit post that did some heavy investigating on everyone's age in League of Legends says that Jinx is 23 & Yasuo is 28.
I love all your theories and the way you ended the video focusing on helping people in need just in case like, you seem like a very kind person and for that I will definitly subscribe. Keep going man
He learned it from "alternate" Power. No one said it to him, but it was the theme of episode 7. It is what he himself had to convince Powder of, to overcome her complacency with herself. Same sentiment here, same resigned psychological state, though resigned to different things because different Powder.
I personally wanted to see more of Vi, Ekko and Jinx together. But this is part of what they have to leave behind to go on. Their shared identity. The past.
Glad someone else had the exact idea as me. I tried figuring out which direction the blimp was headed by trying to analyze the sun and horizon, any shadows we could see, and even the direction the wind is pushing the clouds. Ionia make that most sense, especially if Jinx wants to start over in a place of harmony. But like you stated, i dont think thats what she'll find with the noxus invasion there. If anything I feel she may get caught up in a Noxus vs. innocents in Ionia and just like she stepped up to protect Isha, she'll step up again to defend those who cant defend themselves against the Noxus threat. This then can tie into mel headed back to Noxus and maybe she gets pulled in that direction in an effort to try and remove the Noxus occupancy in Ionia and runs into Jinx.
Really great video man. My exposure to this world was through the show, and I feel like this season, and specifically this last episode, rushed or skipped what should have been pivotal moments in the story set up by the previous season and acts. As an example, the Piltover-Zaun conflit got pushed to the side too quickly in favor of Victor’s GLORIOUS EVOLUTION and the Noxus setup. It ultimately makes me feel like they wanted to use season 2 as a springboard for future stories more than giving a solid, fleshed-out conclusion to the one they currently had. The fixed runtime of episodes really seemed to hurt here. Still, even tho I wanted more from the show, hearing your thoughts and predictions really makes me appreciate what we got, and gets me excited for the future. They better bring back some characters as more than just cameos, cause there’s some unfinished business here!
Im not sure they knew how popular the show would be. i think if they did we would have spread the story over another season. The next season, now that they know there is a fan base for it, will potentially have 3 seasons instead of 2. Agreed and I am excited for what comes next too!
I just finished s2 and I'm happy I watched this. Honestly the ending didnt feel too good for me, but with the extra league lore you gave at the end and all the flashbacks to s1 it becomes a lot more logical. So I want to thank you for making this video! Keep it up!
@Entgrove At 10:46 - He says 'no matter what happens in the past...' phrase as alternative universe Powder says it to him when they are sitting on the hill in S2E7.
I'm pretty sure the lore of yordles are that they can't die. When they do "die" they return to the bandle tree. Also, the flash of purple could easily just be from her bomb so I wouldn't say she's alive for certain just from that. BUT! I'm pretty sure that was a hexgate so the likely situation was that she was transported prior to the explosion rather than just dashing away.
I really loved the way this video was made, really made me happy seeing someone care so much about the show as me. The show really left a mark on me like no other media before and I’m really glad there’s so much attention to the details in the show and these videos. Much love
Also another proof that Heimerdinger didn't die, is that whenever someone is killed by hextech, they leave a trail of dust or ashes, which we have seen happen twice throughout the show. We didn't get any of that with Heimer.
Just found your channel and instantly subbed. Love how its not just a recap but added bits of how the lore of the show ties into the game to help us better plot where we could he going. Keep up the great work man!!!!
Vi routinely for the entirely of the series except once (in the jail cell Jinx locked her in) is consistently acting for the benefit of someone else. She is entirely (except the one scene) completely selfless.
Yes. Even during the fight with Ambessa's army, she's carrying that wounded Zaunite that she doesn't even know, risking everything for her. Vi absolutely deserves to finally let go of her guilt and start living her life for herself.
@@vrrrrrr6872 yeah, I am very happy for how her story ends. Seems she gonna have a good life since that moment. Tho I am curious what is she going to do. personal opinion: I hope that, if there were to be a sequal to this spinoff series, Vandar would not only, somehow, comback to life but also appear as somethiing similar to the original anthro-wolf-like canon version of Warwick. Ideally, I see the season2-Arcane version of Warwick potentially acting as some cocoon before the real Vandar/Warwick "hatches" out of it and later on become either Maurader Warwick, Winterblessed Warwick, Lunar Guardian Warwick, etc. (>w
To be fair, if it is Jhin, it doesn't have to be him originating from Piltover. He could just be there as part of his travels. Fun fact from Legends of Runterra that could be inspiration - Jhin has no national tie, he's just classified as "Runeterran" (which makes sense given he's a travelling assassin). I don't think he has any special lines with Jinx in LOR, but, he has some mentor-y ones with Annie, so maybe that could be the route they go with Arcane's sequel if it is.
Ekko makes that quote himself. He basically rewound to find the perfect thing to say, and that’s what he came up with. He basically has Naruto’s “talk no jutsu” as long as he doesn’t die in his attempts to find the right words
I think one important detail during the scene of ekko trying to stop jinx is that the first time we see him there are particles around him, meaning he already used the Zdrive. We don't know how many times he rewinded time trying to stop her
Yordles (Smeech and Heimerdinger) do not age or die like beings from the material realm, as they are creatures of the spirit realm and possess a form of immortality. However, they can be harmed or defeated in battle. In "The Meaning in Misery" short story, it was revealed Yordles also don't die. You can read it on League's websites universe section, it's Vex's color story.
The only character that has gone a bit far is Warwick and ill talk more about that in my should arcane be canon video.

btw, the the "monkey head" that caitlyn is holding in the ending is exactly the one from the grenade, that jinx used when she fell down the hextower with warwick. For me, this indicats, that they probably searched for jinx or at least for her dead body because they assume she must lie down there. So i am guessing that caitlyn is checking the blueprint of the hextower after the search, because jinx body could not be found. Then finding out about the ventilation system, leading to her guess that jinx is still alive
ooo this is good
yeh bro try to find a body after that explosion, the smile wasnt about jinx either. she smiles cause vi hums. people just cant accept anything, its crazy

I’m normally the first one to say that people are coping when a main character dies and they refuse to accept it but this is not one of those times.
Kinda random but I never thought about how long jinx’s hair would be unbraided
she looked soo freakin pretty tho....like a little rapunzel , I just wish we would have seen that under different circumstances
I am salty they cut her hair 😢
That bit after she locks VI in the cell, and backs off. Jinx was at her lowest, but never looked prettier.

I talk about this in my black rose video but it’s weird. I think some are black rose (those with yellow eyes) and some are swain (those with red eyes)
@@entgrove I could be wrong, but as far as I know, all ravens in Runeterra are spies for Swain's demon. Ravens with red eyes indicate that Swain is personally observing the situation.

Even Ambessa talked about "forgiving" in a speech with Caitlyn :)
I'd wait 20 years for any kind of continuation of Jinx's story If I had to

Another thing you can note is after Jinx decided to leave the cycle, she cut her hair, which looks similar to isha. But, also can tie into how hair hold memories and her cutting her braids and hair could symbolize her letting go of her past, memories and Vi, as letting go of Vi would free her from the fight between Caitlyn or Jinx.
I loved your analysis of Jinx, and Jinx overall in arcane too
Thanks Kaiya!
Her hair is like Vi’s with her own crazy flair
i personally think the no braids-jinx is kinda meant to also suggest the rebirth of Powder in a way. because she kinda also resembles the alternate-universe jinx from ep7.
On another note, if we're talking Isha, we need to talk about... bunny. You can see Isha wearing bunny ears in their hideout. The baloon that jinx is using to attack in ep 9, has bunny ears.
It’s up to Ekko to bring her back people said they would like a mini series of Ekko traveling throughout Runeterra to find Jinx.
imagine though, like that would be really good, seeing them in a different setting and being able to experience a life
I am actually planning to write a fanfiction like that
Traveling after her would completely demean everything he was telling her and what she was working towards.

Where?
11:22 He understood this from the relationship between Silko and Wander from the other dimension.
Came to comment this exactly.
Selfless.

No he was in the same spot he kissed powder. He thought jinx died and he burned it for her

I think Ekko learned "its never too late to build something new, for the right person" from his interaction with alternate timeline Silco and Jinx. That was the primary message he took away from them, because it rekindled his hope that he can save Jinx if Vander and Silco could forgive each other in that universe.

Thanks for saving my day by explaining why Jinx didn´t die! Since Jinx has always been my absolute fave Arcane character I was somewhat desperate after that ending..! Good work!!!
Thanks Sebastian! :)
Best work on arcane, I waited for it !
thanks yann!!
0:35 I thought Jinx surrendered. Caitlyn also said to Vi the guards took Jinx away before she could process
surrendered but still threw her in jail. And you can tell from the way Caitlyn talks with her she thinks Jinx should be there. Not doing anything is still a choice kind of thing
@entgrove fair yeah
- "That no matter what happened in the past,..." [AU Powder killing Vi with the hex crystal]
- "It's never too late to build something new..." [refrencing Powder helping w/ the Z-drive, with Jinx even noticing her signature toy monkeys]
- "Someone worth building it for..." [AU Powder building it for Ekko]
That's at least how I interpreted his dialogue initially. Less so a statement he heard from somewhere, but more an observation from a better version of Jinx.
Same here
thought that was just general understanding
Apparently he told her of her AU self and them….
I was thinking it was AU Silco saying "the greatest thing we do in life, is find the power to forgive". Not as directly related, but close enough
Finally! Someone saw that! 😅
What I keep saying i genuinely do not know HOW ppl are missing this, like was their volume a bit lower??
Your conclusion earned you a subscriber, you're the first creator I have seen acknowledge how Jinx's struggles could be a trigger for some people.
10:34 I think when Ekko said always a dance with Jinx, he meant the only 4 moments they met as adults were all moments where Ekko really needed to exert physical movements:
1. First appearance of Jinx in season 1 where she fought the firelights from the shimmer loaded ship
2. When Ekko and the firelights invaded Jinx and Vi's reunion in season 1
3. Their battle on the bridge
4. The actual 'dance' in the alt. universe
I like this
Incredible video man!
I'm always with you
In the other reality, when Ekko says a phrase to Powder, she learns it, copies it exactly, and returns it to him in the same way.
(Shimmer might still exist in some form, but it’s not widespread.)
I’d argue that Silco’s forgiveness and the lack of Shimmer contributes more to Powder’s happiness than the prevention of Hextech.
I’m on team jinx is alive and I agree why else would cait be holding that and looking at the ducts but the SMILE WAS AT VI, cat hears her singing and she turns her direction and smiles followed by her coming to her in the room to playfully tease her about it
IM SHOCKED AT HOW MANY PPL THINK SHES SMILING BECAUSE JINX IS ALIVE. like cait still doesn't like her and it's obvious because vi was humming 😭😭
@@0000_v1 cait also took guards away from jinx to let vi break her out, she began to forgive jinx when she apoligised for killing her mother. I imagine she also forgave her more after Jinx helped save piltover and then "died" to save Vi
@@asht7815 I never said she didn't forgive her, obviously Cait is forgiving her but that doesn't mean that she Just started randomly loving her. She still doesn't like her, But she's forgiving her for vi and herself.
@@0000_v1she doesn't hate her. She rejects the feeling of hatred, as that poisons you. She even said that when she hated Jinx she hated herself. She probably doesn't love her either, but she loves Vi and hence Jinx's fate matters to her. Family in law and all 😁
goated vid bro, I hope that the next series (prolly noxus) will include jinx as the ppl who watched want a "happy" ending. Like imagine jinx does arrive in noxus and at the end of the series she goes back to vi and ekko
Thanks monte!
If Jinx is going to Ionia, that makes sense. Jinx is often paired up with Yasuo in trailers.
"You Really Got Me" and "Welcome Aboard" come to mind.
One could argue that they are just the most popular champions, but that doesn't stop them from getting paired up.
the internet will pair a tree and a High voltage power line if needed
i actually can see them becoming friends. Yasuo is another tragic character with a mission of redemption and forgiveness (to himself), maybe if they meet each other she could help him with his guilt. But honestly that won't ever happen 😂
Maybe he could be a mentor for her. I thought Yas was quite a bit older than Jinx so I thought the 'pairing' was a little weird.
Edit: A Reddit post that did some heavy investigating on everyone's age in League of Legends says that Jinx is 23 & Yasuo is 28.
it might make sense since if jinx in those trailers is jinx, then she must've traveled to both ionia and demacia
5:33 I think he got teleported to another universe- since he just disappeared
You just made my day !!!
Thank you so much!!!
I think Ekko say it to Jinx after he saw Vander and Silco on the other universe as friends
Agreed and I am excited for what comes next too!
this is the first video I saw form you, you hit me harder than isha. new fan over here
I just finished s2 and I'm happy I watched this.
Honestly the ending didnt feel too good for me, but with the extra league lore you gave at the end and all the flashbacks to s1 it becomes a lot more logical.
So I want to thank you for making this video! Keep it up!
Thanks Max!! Will do :)
Heimerdinger said that he was in this timeline 1128 days - 28.11
He says back in a 'wink' though, not week
15:05 your theory make sense, but are you sure that line is Jinx and not a flare? There is another one to the to left, but weaker
It could be. But we should know by now that every detail the animators put in are intentional.
incredible video dude. thank you, i missed a lot and this really helped clean things up. a lot more impactful on the rewatch now.
Thanks meekael!!
Hopefully she’s going to the next series 🔥
@Entgrove At 10:46 - He says 'no matter what happens in the past...' phrase as alternative universe Powder says it to him when they are sitting on the hill in S2E7.
16:14 wait until Milo's ghost shoots it down and Jinx dies.
Man you get it finally someone I agree with 100%
I really really hope you're right about the future
I really loved the way this video was made, really made me happy seeing someone care so much about the show as me. The show really left a mark on me like no other media before and I’m really glad there’s so much attention to the details in the show and these videos. Much love
I’m so so so glad jinx is alive! Thanks for the video bro
Agreed, thanks Joseph!
Also another proof that Heimerdinger didn't die, is that whenever someone is killed by hextech, they leave a trail of dust or ashes, which we have seen happen twice throughout the show. We didn't get any of that with Heimer.
Ekko doesn't hear those words from anyone, but he _learns_ that lesson from meeting alternate Powder.
Just found your channel and instantly subbed. Love how its not just a recap but added bits of how the lore of the show ties into the game to help us better plot where we could he going. Keep up the great work man!!!!
Thanks lies!! Just released another video right now 😅
"No mater what I do I cant seem to die" jinx once said
12:45 damn I literally cry on this moment every time, like the hype, Sevika running in, and EVEN THE COOK 😭
I mean Cait will prolly become the head of enforcers and will chase the criminals all over the place, what about VI? Fighting is her only thing, what if there are no fights to pick? Cant really see her cleaning the house, cooking or attending tea parties...
This is actually quite indepth, a lot of people believe Jinx is going to Demacia, but i agree with you. Ionia just seems like a better fit. Great explinations man, sub from me. GL on your channel. Cant wait to see the next theory you drop.
Thanks IX!!
Awesome, awesome stuff brother. I love your videos. Please keep them coming. You're doing incredible work. Thank you so much.
Thanks big!!
that commentary at the end and the offer for support earned a sub my guy. you’re great 🫶🏻
excited to see where they go to next, praying to find the patience to wait for whenever that is going to be.
Hope you're right about the jinx call and we get to see the sisters reunite sometime in the future. Would be insane.
Honestly I love your work brother ! You deserve more recognition for this !
He didnt give up on her remember episode 7 in s1 boy savoiur and liked i said before he would be the one too save her from herself
Loved this video, tks for that, awesome analysis!
Thanks solo!
good stuff dude, all the best
thanks hyper!
personal opinion: I hope that, if there were to be a sequal to this spinoff series, Vandar would not only, somehow, comback to life but also appear as somethiing similar to the original anthro-wolf-like canon version of Warwick. Ideally, I see the season2-Arcane version of Warwick potentially acting as some cocoon before the real Vandar/Warwick "hatches" out of it and later on become either Maurader Warwick, Winterblessed Warwick, Lunar Guardian Warwick, etc. (>w
God I hope you’re right & we see our girl again!!!!
Wherever she goes. Ekko is going to play a part in her story continuing. He’s the key to her figuring out who she’s gonna be moving forward.
Omggg, loved how you pointed out the little details!! They are so easy to miss
Thanks Ae7!!
Ekko makes that quote himself. He basically rewound to find the perfect thing to say, and that’s what he came up with. He basically has Naruto’s “talk no jutsu” as long as he doesn’t die in his attempts to find the right words
Love the ending of the vid you deserve more subs ❤
I think one important detail during the scene of ekko trying to stop jinx is that the first time we see him there are particles around him, meaning he already used the Zdrive. We don't know how many times he rewinded time trying to stop her
Outstanding work putting all of this together. I’m 100% sold! Great video
You can read it on League's websites universe section, it's Vex's color story.
i never comment but the fact that you reach ur audience like that at the end is really heart warming
