Dr. Charlie, Can, you please help me? My lower 4 and 5 lumbar is fused on my left side. Lately, it feels like my disc is going to pop out of my lower back. It gives me piercing pain. So much that I can hardly move and walk. All so, my neck, my 3,4,5 are fused, with a plate and 6 screws. My neck locks and I have a muscle that freezes, I can't turn my head in any way. At times the pain shoots straight up the back of my head by my ear My old pain management doctor, told me it's just arthritis? It feels nothing like arthritis. Are there any exercises, that would help me get relief?? I appreciate what you're doing, for us. Thank you, for your time, Kim
Thank you, Dr. I bent down on Monday to pick up my shoe and my lower back on the right cramped/seized up. Now I have an aching lower back and I'm not able to lift my right leg to climb stairs and getting out of a chair is very difficult. Will you help me?😢

I've been struggling for 2 years to find relief to my lower back, hip, and thigh pain. The pain on a typical day has been a 6 to an 8 and NSAIDs didn't bring the pain below a 4. Practicing just the stretches once has brought the pain to no more than a 4 over the past week. THANK YOU!!

My RUclips feed came up with this video - right after a hard run that finished in a pain in my left glute and outside knee. Thanks for the great advice and easy to follow along exercises. I will be watching this repeatedly to work on stretching and strengthening the problem.😊

Dr Rowe, thank you for your Timely content. I wonder if this will help the numbness in my leg?? The side effects of cancer medicines have been back pain, muscle loss and arthritis. In addition I get numbness on the outside of my left leg from my hip down towards my knee while standing. This numbness subsides quickly when I get off my feet. I've had CT and MRI and soon a bone scan. I try many of your exercises but I'm not very consistent due to pain and weakness. Do you have any specific exercises for this kind of problem?
Could you do a vid possibly on rotator cuff discomfoty/ pain and what exercises to do? If I put my hands behind my head and try push my elbos back, I start to get a pain in one shoulder. at some angles I get a pain. I used to do a lot of chin ups and wide grip pull ups and think I must have inhured my shoulder or a nerve or something pulls or gets stuck?
My left thigh is numb, burning sensation time to time, been this way for about 6 years now. All the X-rays and scans show lower back is trapping a nerve. Will this help?

When I try to do the first excersise (stretch) I find, however that I have pain on the inside portion of my leg (going from the groin along the inside of the leg, as if there was some tendon which is too tight or so), therefore not allowing me to go into the stretch properly. The other leg does not have that problem and I can get into the stretch easily. Any idea what that might be? It does not feel like it is the Adductor muscels but something deeper (but maybe it is). Any suggestions on what I might do?
All these exercises are very effective except for the one where you place your foot at an angle behind you and bend forwards with straight hips, which could have put a nasty strain on my knees if I had not noticed early on and stopped in time.
@@DrRowe I was able to stand at work with minimal pain all day. Now doing the strengthening exercise so I won't hurt myself again. TY! This helped a lot! 🛼🛼

Love these stretches and exercises. However, I cannot really do the Tushi walk. I can only hold my leg up maybe an inch off the floor for about a second or two. I really cannot drive it forward at all. Is there a revised edition of that exercise that I may be able to do? Or should I just continue to try to do it as shown and hopefully will get better Thank you
These exercises are really helping me to walk better. I can only manage the first two, modified due to arthritis but I'm noticing a big improvement after just a few days. Thank you, I'm very grateful for your generosity in making these videos

I didn’t start having this outer thigh pain until a physical therapist violently pulled my right leg! These exercises have really helped me. Thank you so much.
I’m sure you may have covered this in the past, but IT band relief.? Lots of pain in my left leg and weakness after a bad fall on the ice last December.

What is causing all of us to have this pain? Is it lack of exercise, or being overweight or just the fact we are old?
Personally I believe stress could be a huge factor, causing muscle tension.
