The main commerce guild were similar to many other Separatist members. San Hill, Nute Gunray, and Wat Tambor from their "conglomerates" were no better, all desired profit and power over their planets well being.

Yeah i never got why slaughtering them was considered evil, they willingly started a galaxy wide war for monetary gain for crying out loud

It was the only thing to do to centralize power, when the Galactic empire was created. They were expendable at the point.

The fact that you describe General Grevious as a genocidal maniac, and then say he can’t hold a candle to Shu-Mai, tells you just how dark this video will be.
That being said, the ROTS Novelisation says in the intro that Grevious was, indeed, the worst of the Separatist Leaders. “Grevious, though…Grevious was a monster”
Guessing this a situation of whick evil did more harm. Grievous preferred killing himself, this one is willing to just wipe out a planet out if spite
The novelisation didn't say he was the worst, just that he was overtly evil while Dooku was better at coming off as civilised. It was from a Republic POV if I remember correctly and it was commenting on the propaganda effect of an attack by Grevious on the population of Coruscant
I heard of a part of the Clone Wars (event) where he tried using some brutal enslavement technique involving forced cybernetics. On CHILDREN. Vader at his WORST would only KILL them, while being DISCUSTED with even the most TAME forms of slavery.

I'd like to hear more about the other Separatist Council Leaders. Nute Gunray got a lot of the spotlight in Phantom Menace, and he was one of the Separatist bigwigs but what did he expect to happen? What was his goal for the Clone Wars? And San Hill, the banker that seemed so eager and high and mighty when the treaty was being signed. All these people had different goals, even Dooku, had a different vision for the galaxy when the war was finally over. The only one who saw their goals realized... was Palpatine.
Nute Gunray and San Hill may be financially and bool smart, but they clearly arent forward thinkers nor do they have any street smarts

Even near death she was ungrateful. A visit from Lord Vader to see all those present personally is much handsome reward. And a great honor

I remember Shu-Mai being the main antagonist and twist villain in that weird Star Wars: Kinect game. Her being there made me question the decision when I first played it. Now I wonder why Shu-Mai hasn't been used more frequently. She was the literal embodiment of pique corporate evil on a galactic scale.
Well, thank God she wasn't Force Sensitive. That stunted slime would have committed Sidious-scale crimes.
She would have contested Sidious' schemes if they were to meet late into their respective careers, & went for each other's throats if they were to meet early. Taking her as an apprentice wouldn't have been an option for Sidious, as she was too damn vile to be manipulated & kept around. Ironically, the galaxy as a whole wound have benefitted more if they were both Siths & gone against each other.

An people say THESE guys was supposed to be the good guys. I'd said Palpatine/Darth Sideous WAS the most LITERALLY evil member. seeing as he also LITERALLY played just about EVERYONE else. Not being found out till the very end, an then only by a few, whom were too late to stop in and drastically and very much underestimated just how strong and a threat he really was.
THIS alien chick was basically an equivalent to one the "Dragon Queens" of ancient Asia
I would argue they are, by design and intention, as well as the common members among the separatists, including some separatist leaders. Its only because they relied heavily on these greedy and evil monsters that their cause was tainted so badly.

To be fair, when they say good guys they're probably referring to the Separatist Senate, not the cabal of rich greedy James Bond villains on the war council. The Separatist Cause was based on a legitimate concern, but was warped and twisted by the select few.

So she’s like Stalin he put his workers on hellish condition, killed anyone who criticized him, and took pleasure in the misery he caused.
Hitler was an evil genocidal bastard (no shit Sherlock) a d like all dictators, lives meant nothing to him. For example, towards the end of the war, he issued the infamous Nero Decree which was a scorched earth policy, calling for the destruction of everything that the Allies and Soviets could use.
I think she might be based on Ayn Rand.
Hitler may not have cared about Germany, since he ordered an absurd scorched earth policy that no one followed. Hitler cared about Germany for a while, because they were his power base, and once they were spent he wanted them to die as well since in defeat they had proved unworthy of him.

yes, he was reluctant when fighting the jedi and obi-wan, but he felt absolutely no pity for the separatists and was able to just go full medieval on their asses.
During his early days as Darth Vader, he was usually hesitant on enslaving people.

So basically she is the CEO of Nestle. Where is a sith Lord when you need one.
It's refreshing to see how much depth the Separatists get via the novelizations. Grevious saw the Republic steal victory over his people's centuries long oppressors, the murderers of his wife. He saw the desecration of his culture's most sacred sites and his people reduced to crippling poverty, so much so that he was willing to swallow his own pride and honor and sell himself into slavery to the Banking Guild. All because the Republic couldn't mind their own business. Even without the Siths manipulation his hatred for the Jedi and the Rebublic would have turned him into a monster.
Shu-Mai grew up in a world so crippled by sanctions that sentient life was worth less then a scrap of food. All because some bureaucrats half a Galaxy away felt like it. Not because they had to, but because they could. She didn't escape any of this because of the kindness of another, but because of her own ruthlessness. Why would she develop a value of sentient life?
Ironically, the Republic created some of it's most monstrous enemies.

No, its deliberate. Keeps people invested in fictional worlds while doing it for real right under their noses. When people do notice they get called conspiracy theorists and ignored regardless of the strength of their points because those not paying attention subconsciously connect those ideas with fiction and fairly tales and have been trained from birth to be cognitively dissonant.
So many industrialists, dictators, and brutal capitalists rolled into one.

This character makes me think of these Sload people from the Elder Scrolls universe as their entire species was like this character as they viewed acts of Cruelty torture murder and exploitation as signs of one's intelligence and are things that made you a good person. In their culture if you killed a child then you are a good and morally just person worthy of praise but if you help one you are a traitorous liar
One has to wonder if she even really felt fear at the end. She probably felt her value as a potential asset would be squandered by murdering her.

Nah, at this juncture, she's gotten well past being a sociopath & could be defined by an even simpler & extreme term, 'psychopath'. She embodied the archetype of a psychopath so well that one would only need to look at her to find a living personification of the term.
I love the Separatist and I’m pro separatist I believe in the separatist cause but the Separatist council was awful, the Separatist senate didn’t even know how awful they really were. And the Separatist council would also go against the separatist senate in many cases.
As a fan of the CIS I also agree.
