Technically nintendo did have voices coming from their controller too, for example, in super smash brothers brawl the smash annoumced says the characters names through the speaker and the characters even speak through the speaker on the wii mote(also same with midna in twilight princess as far as im aware)

Re: "Tinkle Popo", I honestly don't think Nintendo thought a female audience existed beyond the momentary Pokémon Pink idea until Y2K at the very least!
I didn't even know there were batteries in the old cartridges! All the video game designers are proof to Karen's that no one is "too old" to play video games. We would never have the games they use to keep their crotch goblins from bugging them if adults who loved exploring as children or doing many other types of imaginary play & curiosity didn't design their favorite activities as games so that more kids/adults can enjoy them.

I would Battle Cats forever bc... well, it's BATTLE CATS FOR CHRISTS SAKE!!!! pretty much an endless game- 3 main story chapters, 3 - and there will probably be more - side-chapters along with like a bazillion event stages! oh, and not to mention they collabed with like 7 big things, for example: Evangelion, Godzilla, and more! also like 100 smaller collabs- ALSO also, JP exclusives are finally coming to EN! like Princess Punt and others, so yeah!
