On second inspection of the video, that man looks like he might be black which explains everything as the most fucked up problem that American law enforcement has is so many racist cops.
I stand by what I commented in the live chat in that the VA cops going crazy was probably a combo of an older cop and younger cop getting anal and maybe overhyped on the potential 'stolen car in progress' type of thing. (My mom has been pulled over for the smallest things that result in 'warnings' and it usually only happens with a newbie cop with the older one showing them the ropes, that's why I feel the need to mention this bit given the duo in the vid is a relative newbie and a vet cop) A common thing for stealing cars is to remove the plates, so if no plate is visible that could be a reason. Thieves do that to avoid the plates being tracked by cctv and traffic cameras. If a vehicle is freshly stolen in the dead of night there is a chance it hasn't been reported yet by a sleeping or distracted owner etc. So, the stop was justified for needing to check and they had a reason to be vigilant of the driver if it was a thief. The guns were not needed off the bat, however! At least not with that much yelling and hyper tension those two officers had, they should have been cautious and calm and approached the car to check if it was just because of the tint of the window or if it was more serious. The thing with driving to a well lit area is something that has been recommended to both drivers and police because of when criminals would make themselves appear like officers with uniforms and car lights. Not sure how often they do that still but there was a time a lot of people would be pulled over on dark and or somewhat secluded roads to be taken advantage of in various crimes. This is something that cops actually direct people to do where I've lived in various states because it is for the safety of both parties and to be safe from traffic. Usually around where I live now they pull people over on off ramps if they can(something my mom still thinks is unsafe depending on the ramp here), parking lots of fast food pull offs and shopping areas and gas stations. The way they were shouting and just buzzing in the vid was not good given the guy wasn't speeding or swerving before stopping and they had no need to pepper spray him when he wanted information they could have easily given him. At that point they were 'in too deep' I guess or wanted their power trip? No idea what was actually going through their minds when they saw his uniform either because that would have told me it was more likely a misunderstanding for the plates although I'd have still been cautious to make sure. Either way, cops are more likely to make a fatal mistake when they approach it so hyped/scared/whatever so they should have remembered their training to be calm. Also, shame on that VA judge and even some of the ones from cases he pulled up for coming to his decisions. That one guy driving for however many seconds after being signaled to stop...like can the person not pull over at a safe place? Are we supposed to just stop immediately or immediately jerk over to a side of the road? Not safe!

@@galonski64 I never said there wasn't I only stated the facts our officers do not get trained enough for what they're supposed to know. There's a reason lawyers spend 4+ years learning everything.
To be fair you dont probably know enough about most these case to make an assumption. The first guy for example: Was being puled over but ignored it for almost 5 mins till he could drive to different location, the police assumed at that time that he did not intend to stop and didnt know why he would do that other than try to hide something in the car. When they gave him orders he flat out ignored them for about a minute til they became more stern with their request and he still refused to comply. The mans in the army for Christ sake : "I will obey all lawful orders of those appointed over me." The officer is in that power, getting out of the car is a normal/lawful order. He refused to comply multiple times. The officers were in the wrong with their vague threatening language and MAYBE the guns being drawn but thats their call. Real talk they both did things wrong and i don't see how you can see it as Cut and dry as if it was all wrong on one side.

@@Ayuima69 Counter argument : was the pepper spray really necessary, it didn't help the situation at all & basically stranded him out there likely for quite a while due to being blinded Bro literally just wanted an explanation on why he was being pulled over, but, the police officers in the vid didn't think that was a top priority, which again, is the whole reason why the pulled him over in the 1st place Bro also likely didn't want to pull over on a fucking highway at night, b/c it's really fucking dangerous to do that, so he decided to go to a gas station with bright ass lights & no traffic (hell, even the 1 police officer said that wasn't the problem at the near end of the vid) If they just explained why he was being pulled over without shoving guns *sideways* into his face acting like he was some kinda gangsta...the guy being pulled over would have been more likely to comply with their demands Going straight up aggro, immediately I might add, in a conflict just makes the situation worse, not better, it's best to approach the situation calmly & thoughtfully to prevent these kinda fucked situations from happening

Yeah, it doesn't matter, he drove for way too long, that can be considered eluding You can argue however you want that "there was way too dark to stop right there" but the fact is that alongside the license plate stuff violation there can be something else going on and there is always a possibility that the driver starts actually running away or cause an accident Sure, they went way too hard afterwards and the "you should be scared" comment was goddamn stupid but the driver initiated that whole situation by not wanting to pull over when signaled to And if he did and he pointed out that he got the cardboard license plate because it's a newly purchased car, there is a big chance he would have been allowed to just drive away without any issues

This is pretty severe because not having a license plate is mostly a sign of a stolen vehicle 2. The police having their guns drawn is reasonable cause he could be armed and on stuff and he could be aggressive 3. Officers aren't normally aggressive most police academies teach officers to be calm and understanding the only time they can be aggressive is when they are dealing with a huge threat 4. It's not like this channel has 5mil subs cause of true crime (tho that could be a part of it) but this channel is mostly about police things we watch these videos all the time in my classes and are really educational

Not safe!
Glad I live in Europe and not America, Ironically would feel less safe because of some of their armed cops acting like this
- Everyone have guns (multiple. Not just handguns, even assault rifles)
- White people are quite racist
- Absolute trigger happy police
Living in America is honestly an anxiety filled life
To answer your question over here in America the cops barely get trained at all thats why. 5:37
Please don't post such stuff. There are plenty of good to great officers. Yes, there some bad ones, but a lot are good
@@galonski64 I never said there wasn't I only stated the facts our officers do not get trained enough for what they're supposed to know. There's a reason lawyers spend 4+ years learning everything.
I honestly don't know how people can watch something like this and still think that cops are the good guys.
Because not all cops are the same. The media has a strong tendency for fake narrative’s
Because you only hear about the bad cops. Just like you only hear about the planes that crash, not the ones that land safely. Bad cops need to be dealt with but just like any groups of people, do not stereotype all of them based on a bad population.
@@Ayuima69 Counter argument : was the pepper spray really necessary, it didn't help the situation at all & basically stranded him out there likely for quite a while due to being blinded
Bro literally just wanted an explanation on why he was being pulled over, but, the police officers in the vid didn't think that was a top priority, which again, is the whole reason why the pulled him over in the 1st place
Bro also likely didn't want to pull over on a fucking highway at night, b/c it's really fucking dangerous to do that, so he decided to go to a gas station with bright ass lights & no traffic (hell, even the 1 police officer said that wasn't the problem at the near end of the vid)
If they just explained why he was being pulled over without shoving guns *sideways* into his face acting like he was some kinda gangsta...the guy being pulled over would have been more likely to comply with their demands
Going straight up aggro, immediately I might add, in a conflict just makes the situation worse, not better, it's best to approach the situation calmly & thoughtfully to prevent these kinda fucked situations from happening
@@Ayuima69 Think of it like this, that Liutenant is an African American driving at night, and drove to a lit up gas station because pulling over on the high way is absurd. But once he was pulled over, they started the interaction with guns drawn. I'm not sure about you, but if an officer pulls me over and immediately starts with guns drawn I ain't gonna feel safe.
Man, those police officers would be absolute ass at training a dog. They're literally telling him to do four different things at once like this man somehow has two extra arms, and they somehow don't realize that they're confusing the poor guy? Of course, he doesn't know wtf is going on, why would he listen if he has no idea what's going on? Damn, man, police officers don't know what the word patience means
Why it got to be the poor black guy getting basically jumped by 2 white guys! I feel there was a bit of racism in how the officers handled the situation, that poor man was most likely scared and they went above and beyond to hurt him! Where is the humanity!
I love your videos on this type of behavior within police and the brutality they display in general! ❤
There was probably some form of racism involved because statistically a white guy wouldn't have had any weapons drawn in the first place.
It's still partially the drivers fault for not pulling over when he was told to, the officers obviously shouldn't have pulled their guns on him but if he was that worried about something happening while he was on the side of the road he could've just recorded it himself like he did anyway
@@nickminchew8140he indicated that he was pulling over at a well lit area, which is what you are supposed to do
@@williamhoskin5703 if he did indicate that to the officers then they were even more in the wrong but I never heard that he did, if that's in the video can you give me the timestamp so I can confirm?
Only guiterraz was stripped? That's bullshit, Crocker is just as bad and should also be striped. He isn't because he is still in field training? That should be when it is freshest!
As an American white female, stories like these are why I can never trust the police or the government with the way it is now. We are taught in school that police are to protect and bring justice to criminals and yet all I've seen is officers attack innocents for no reason and the government ruling against the victims. I'm scared I'll get arrested for underage driving even though I'm in my 20s just because I'm small and look young for my age.
I really hope our current system gets fixed but with our current government I don't see that happening anytime soon, if ever.
He served his country, got kneed and harassed by policemen for no reason, had an unlawful search of his car and only got $3000 from the policemen combined. I am glad that doesn’t normally happen here in the UK. Poor soldier…
I recently got a new to me car, and the dealer I got it from his printer for the temporary tag was low on ink so it's faded, I have till like December to get my real tag but I'm going to get it next week becaus I'm terrified of this happening because the cops in my town are like this. I know from experience. They do not care and will fucking lie about shit. These cops are fucking crazy for stopping him like this. He was finding a safe space for him and the cops. On a dark road, they could do something to him, or anyone could be smacked by another car. How fucking stupid do the cops have to be to not know that.
Love your content 😊😊❤❤❤❤
Kinda sad how every police interaction in every country is seen as bad.
Jst goes to show how badly we have made this system to govern ourselves
Every country
Thanks for lumping everyone with America
@KenBladehart cause it is. You think only American police interactions are bad?
Guess what in my country god forbid u even look at police officer. They put u in jail for multiple days even months in the name of investigation without court orders. And when the time comes they jst forge em.
One of our lawyers was even quoted saying. Only go against the police if u have a death wish
I dont know how laws work in cali but i live in Nv and they applied an unnecessary amunt of force which is a crime especially when they instantly pulled out there firearms
Especially the reason he was getting pulled over for
THE FIRST VID HAD THE COP HOLDING THE GUN LIKE A BLACK DUDE! HE WAS BEING RACIST AS IT MEANS WHAT I SAID IN AMERICA
Americans think with their guns.
its verginia so its probebly racism
HAHGAHHA YES
Hi Pat! ❤❤❤❤✨✨✨
ACAB is so true in America..Idc... ACAB
Yeah, it doesn't matter, he drove for way too long, that can be considered eluding
You can argue however you want that "there was way too dark to stop right there" but the fact is that alongside the license plate stuff violation there can be something else going on and there is always a possibility that the driver starts actually running away or cause an accident
Sure, they went way too hard afterwards and the "you should be scared" comment was goddamn stupid but the driver initiated that whole situation by not wanting to pull over when signaled to
And if he did and he pointed out that he got the cardboard license plate because it's a newly purchased car, there is a big chance he would have been allowed to just drive away without any issues
Not to also point out: he didn’t get out of the car or turn it off when told multiple times and that’s why the cops got more mad.
Fucking listen to cops people.
@@Wolfie54545exactly, the amount of people I see saying "tHeY onLY dID tHis BEcaUSe hE WaS BlaCk" is so stupid, sure the cops used excessive force but that guy really should have pulled over and cooperated, if he did none of it would've happened
It's literally because he's black. Sorry, but that's the way law enforcement rolls.
Seems like a racial adavntage for the 1st case
More like ignorant hot headed cop and non-compliant soldier.

Here are some things Patterrz got wrong (btw I don't hate Pat or smth he's one of my fav react channel and I watch him in the background while doing stuff) (I know he lives in the UK and I want him to learn smth about American Law Enforcement) (I'm currently in two classes for Criminal Justice: Criminal Investigations and Intro Into Criminal Justice) (this is going by California law I know this case takes place in Virginia and laws are different there but idk anything about Virginia laws)
1. This is pretty severe because not having a license plate is mostly a sign of a stolen vehicle
2. The police having their guns drawn is reasonable cause he could be armed and on stuff and he could be aggressive
3. Officers aren't normally aggressive most police academies teach officers to be calm and understanding the only time they can be aggressive is when they are dealing with a huge threat
4. I'm glad the officer was fired because he was a bad police officer but he should've definitely agree with Pat that he should've been fired he pepper sprayed (when he wasn't a threat) and kneed him which is assault
5. States don't allow excessive violence for police they allow violence when it is necessary
6. He had him in hand cuffs because they didn't know if the suspect was gonna book it out of there
7. It's not like this channel has 5mil subs cause of true crime (tho that could be a part of it) but this channel is mostly about police things we watch these videos all the time in my classes and are really educational
1.-) But there surely must have been better ways to check if this was true or not.
2.-) Your third point negates this point. Nazario hadn't done anything that would qualify him as "dangerous" at all, so the way the cops acted was way beyond necessary.
5.-) Your third point negates this one as well.
6.-) Yet he was surrounded. How could he escape?.
3) - you probably should look at how much police violence goes on in the US, especially unpunished.

Watch more videos of how fast things can go from 0-100 when you dont know what is in someones car or the reason they wont stop. They arnt suppose to wait ti be shot to pull a gun lol
So what? Are you saying that *_screaming at him_* to get out of the car was the right thing to do? Yeah, no, I don't agree at all. When you join the force and become a police officer you know that you are risking your life in the job, so you shouldn't react like this at all. If such fear makes you act like this then maybe you don't have the mettle to be a cop.
@toumabyakuya are you a cop? Have you ever been in the situation? Or are you Monday night quarterbacking it saying like you have any clue? Really easy to say what cops should do when it's not you huh lol
@@christopherjohnson6863 Am gonna throw those questions back at you: Are *you* a cop? Have you ever been in a situation like Nazario was in? _Or are you Monday night quarterbacking it saying like you have any clue?_ Really easy to say what cops should do when its not you huh lol. Oh, but the second it happens to you is the second you scream "police brutality!".
You truly only care about yourself, uh. For you everybody else is trash.
@toumabyakuya my point is that it's more complicated and I don't know what it's like, your point was that you do lol I've also been arrested, and I didn't resist, and there was no brutality lol turns out if you don't fight them, you don't get hit.
@@christopherjohnson6863 *"my point is that it's more complicated and I don't know what it's like,"*
And yet, here you are victim-blaming Nazario for not letting the cops continue with their powertrip and continue to act rudely and violent with him.
*"your point was that you do lol"*
No, my point was that these two officers shouldn't have immediately taken their guns out and started to scream the second they got out of their police car. Officers like them that jump from 0 to 100 this fast are officers I don't trust with my life.
*"I've also been arrested, and I didn't resist, and there was no brutality lol"*
Congratulations! You were arrested by officers that do care about others and that do their job as intended. These two police officers from this video did not, at all.
*"turns out if you don't fight them, you don't get hit."*
So what? Are you saying that the way the police force should work is via fear and strength? Because if you are, then I don't agree, at all. A police force that works like that is one I simply cannot trust with my live.
you should try to be in a video with spilling the milk
Nah pat’s too clean for that sadly ):
