You've made Keto so simple for me! I was losing my mind with yeas and nays and oils and nut butters oh my. Lol
This is page 4 and no more. At 61, it is very easy to follow. Lost 22 lbs before and then.....went off the rails. Starting over as of yesterday and feel real good about it this time.

I had a new thought this morning. I have a friend who says she can’t do without chocolate. I asked her if she was sure it was chocolate she was craving or the sugar hidden in the chocolate. She said she would rethink the whole issue.
I’ve only been on Keto for a month but feel so much better. And at 75, that’s amazing. I’ve got hope based on evidence and am not turning back. Thank you Dr Westman.

Loved going shopping with you! The freezer section has the bagged frozen broccoli and cauliflower that are delicious. I try to pick bags I can see through (to see it's not full of just stems). They are so easy to steam in the microwave and with just a little salt, pepper, and butter we can enjoy a delicious no carb veg easily!

I'm so happy that you have the importance of nutrition in healthcare, not only for diabetes but studies are showing that nutrition can impact cancer now. I think that the medical school training should incorporate a lot more education in terms of nutrition. As a side note, keto has been. documented in the treatment of children of seizures as well. I love your channel and look forward to learning a new way of healthy living.

Not so much misinformation as a different approach. Processed foods, even keto products, are more harmful than non starchy vegetables. Many respected keto leaders encourage vegetables.

I originally did keto for weight loss, now I'm doing it to lower inflammation and make my IBS play nice. I love your adapt keto bars and keep hoping you will do some savory ones. I hope you will go back to the variety pack with the keto bars. I always enjoy that cause I get to try a little of this and a little of that. Anyway, this was a really fun video Dr. Westman.

Good video! I like that you mentioned focusing on reduction of carbohydrates, although I think it is also important to immediately distinguish clean healthy food from the lower quality foods, especially with the types of fats that are found in the various oils (oemga 3 VS omega 6 balance and picking foods/oils high in saturated/monounsaturated fats) Also, choose grass-fed for the same reason (you have to be concerned with what you eat ate and how the animal was treated, i.e. antibiotics, growth hormones) I live in Wilmington, NC where I am blessed to have Wholefoods and Fresh Market to make finding quality products for myself much easier.
I've read two of Dr Perlmutter's books so I know the value of eating fiber. It still amazes me that when I tell people that I eat high fat, they think I don't eat whole foods or vegetables. I probably eat more vegetables than most people.

Kane sugar is still sugar just has a fancy name to make it appear healthy. On a low-carb diet I would give that almond coconut butter to a food pantry and buy something else. It is also not on Page 4 (Dr. Westman's food plan for low-carb). However his plan allows Soybean and Canola oil which many on low-carb avoid because of high omega-6 content and inflammatory properties. Oh yay he addresses this and I understand now why he allows them. EXCELLENT video.

Valerie Michel? Where in Canada do you live?
I have lived here my whole 57 years and I have not experienced ANYTHING but attentive, timely and very good care. My 88 year old mom, who is riddled with OA has had 5 various surgeries, even a very extensive one on her spine 2 years ago, so that her Quality of Life was better. The medical group our family has been with for over 20 years, has a complete 'wellness' situation and have a terrific monitor and follow-up program.
I'm sorry to hear that you have had bad experiences. Healthcare has a lot more to do with going along with following Guidelines of Good Health, than just showing up at your doctor's office with a malady. Western medicine on the whole is a 'fix it up' situation, and I am thankful that our Emergency Care is bar none!
