I'll always have a soft spot for EM2's! I'm glad I K swapped mine after the D17 blew the headgasket.
Right they are so much better with a K no doubt
The 7th Gen civics are so underappreciated just because of the D17, but they are still super fun cars and look great. They're still a Honda.
I mean realistic the D17 aren’t bad if maintenance is done to them but they aren’t rockets that’s for sure. The Em2 are one of my favorite body style and year of civic because they are cheap and super comfy

Watching your vids again, gave me the wrenching itch….again….after being burnt out. Saved up and got a rsx for a project…planned my parts I’d need, picked up a k24a RBB4 for it from dallas jdm motors today…been a while since I have been excited for a project. You helped that. Gonna be interesting to see where you go with your new one. Keep them vids comin’! Lord know’s I need the inspiration to fuel the fire🤘🏻

I am sorry to hear that. I have been there i almost took my life from a situation like that and ill tell you honestly it’s because God that I didn’t. I know you have worth and finding that worth is super easy. Go to Gods word and see what He says. We on our own aren’t worthy but with His sacrifice for us shows us we actually are worth more than we realize. Free Bible in the description

I loved my 02 coupe. I wish I would have kept it. Should you keep the D17 for a bit, get a clutch and lightweight flywheel. It really wakes up the car. Can't wait to see what you do with it. God bless.
I did a clutch on this car a few months back already it’s healthy and pulls decent. Might just leave engine alone until it gives a issue because it’s solid and was daily driven for 10yrs roughly 70 miles a day. It’s a good car for what it is. Needs a bit of love but I can handle that

I’m not a fan of chrome to be honest but I’m sure I’ll figure something out that’s decent
I had one of these. They are cool and fun to drive but the suspension design is like a minivan. So much bumpsteer and i hate the rear suspension. I think i saw a couple rally ep3s through internet searches and they would do super stiff rear springs and drive it in a style that seemed very demanding to the driver
The ep3 and the em2 share the same exact suspension and it don’t bump steer when modifying suspension. At least it don’t do it noticeable to me with both my ep3 and em2 it seems good.
Could you do a d16 bottom and d17 top end? If so would that run better?
Crank and rods and pistons can go in d16 to make it a tiny stroker engine. But it's really not worth it unless you want to go all motor because boosting those tiny rods is dangerous, theoretically they could handle what Max power d16 can. Finding forged d17 forged rods is hard.
You can do stuff to the d17 but to me personally it’s not worth it. I have replace my fair share or d17 and I would prefer d16 over the d17 but who knows what the future holds. Not I. Lol
What exhaust is it running?
Hey man how did you install side skirts to the ep3 without the precut holes for clips in the body?
No holes just double sided adhesive and screws in the bottom and sides. Didn’t do video it was a sensitive time to do content thanks to my wicked neighbors
What do you use to clean the engine and is there a wrong way to do it?
Yea there is a wrong way. Using a water hose isn’t the way so make sure there is pressure because when there isn’t pressure the water gets in places easier that it shouldn’t be. I like to use oven cleaner or purple power and do your best to stay away from distributor or ignition coils and alternator. I spray them all with no issues but been doing this long enough to know what to avoid and how to avoid damage.

Wasn't ever really a fan of the 7th gen I like my 6th gen or wouldn't mind an 8th but the 7th gens wernt bad cars. Hurry up n get moved up this way man.
