Just so you know, of you have a less than adequate, electric oven in a rented property like I do, then 180 degree's for the first have of the cooking won't cut it. I'd suggest the temperature a little higher just to brown the bird off a little before basting and adding on the bacon for the last half of the cooking. Mine was anaemic. Whacked it up to 200 c with the bacon on now! All good apart form that. 🎉❤

@@CraigWeir-q5v I have a news report from reality:
All chefs are glorified home cooks.
And all home cooks are glorified camp cooks.
And all camp cooks are descended from clever homo erectus cooks.
But, go ahead and idolize Gordon if you want to. Fact remains that the Gordon never misses an opportunity to take a dig at Jamie Oliver. And the fact remains that Oliver did the same turkey roasting technique at least three years before Gordon. 🤣😖😛🥲 (a few more emojis because you seemed to like them so much).

    • @RafaVision

YES, he said the turkey in the oven for 3 hrs in total , 2 hrs with foil, then he took the turkey out of the oven, he said that it had 2:40, so the rest 20 min must be with the bacon

Trying to make people think about how immoral it is. Spreading a message... The reason why vegans speak out and end up annoying people is because we get angry about how everyone just wants to ignore the horror of it all. People would rather not think about it and they blame the messenger for challenging the status-quo. The general population told civil rights activists to shut up. Nobody wants to face the fact that we kill and eat animals out of greed and convenience. It's wrong but people don't want to think that they have been blindly doing something wrong. I used to eat animals too. Nobody had made me think about the situation.
