Ive been using this for 2 weeks and even before watching your video been doing the exact same thing. The miles on the odometer arent correct idk why? The truck im in has 690k and on the eld it shows 300k something. Been running for days with ELD unplugged but with my cell gps it will show the exact place i was at. All i do is mess around with the hours. Some days i get a little extra sleep so I can run more. Some days i get less sleep so i can make it in time. 3-4 hour power sleep to be there in 8hrs. Now im wondering how to avoid a 34 hr reset hmm🤔

Can they see when eld was unplugged/plugged back in. I have my own authority and can't see any unplugs or eld malfunctions from admin. Also could see any in dot inspection mode as well but was told all unplugs/malfunctions are seen
Yes they can see when it's unplugged. When u unplug the ELD it shows up on your device. On the drive line it shows BLUE. When the ELD is plugged in it shows GREEN. But when DOT sees your logs on their email. It is only seen BLACK AND WHITE. CALL ME IF U HAVE ANY QUESTIONS 414 477 7845
No they can not see edits. When the ELD is plugged into the truck. The drive line is green. When u manually put your drive time in. The drive line is blue not green. They can only see black and white. I know this because I've been inspected while unplugged. And when I asked to see the officers email ( my ELD ) I only saw black and white. And u are correct. When u as the safety manager are in the Keep Truckin Dashboard. U can see everything the driver does. Like I said in the video. It's not something u want to do all the time. But if needed? It's a nice option to have. If u know what u are doing
I have an Iraq War Veteran sticker an Airborne sticker and a Ranger sticker on the side of my truck. I am a Veteran and I served in an Airborne Unit in Vicenza Italy. I did go to Iraq and I went to Ranger school when I got back from Iraq. I definitely get a free pass the majority of the time. But sometimes it doesn't work LOLOLOLOLOL. I've caught some guys lying about being in the military. I ask them what their MOS was? And they couldn't answer. So incase someone asks u what your MOS was ( JOB ) u have an answer. Like for instance my MOS was 11B1P AIRBORNE INFANTRY. Regular Infantry is just 11B. Gid bless brother BESAFE
That's exactly how it's done. When u unplug the ELD u go into your phone or tablet. U then have to hit the Leave vehicle button. This will allow u to log everything manually on the ELD. Drive with the cord on your lap. Incase u have to plug the ELD back in. If u are pulled over or at scale. U will still have to log back into the vehicle. Thanks for watching and commenting. Stay away from keep trucking they have a horrendous customer service. People read some BBB customer reviews and you will see what a nightmare to deal with they are.

They're trying to treat us like the choo-choo trains n the airplanes when we don't stick to a train track we don't go on automatic pilot up-in-the-air controlled by things on the ground. We are on freeways in real life in real time with real people. So they're trying to make us be like those other modes of transportation, and until these semi trucks are self-driving, all of this trying to cram us into that format just does not work at all! I have found that I drive when I am tired and then I am forced to sit there like a dumbass alongside the road staring out the windshield because my electronic logbook knows better and tells me I can't drive. What is specially burns my ass is having to go into Chicago at 7 a.m. with a million people putting on their lipstick while driving, because my electronic logbook wouldn't let me go in at 3 a.m. when it was safer with less traffic to crash into me. It's just so unrealistic and such bullshit. Personally I can't wait till there's trucks self-driving trucks because there's going to be a handful of people that have been out here for 30 years that will be able to operate them from the comfort of their house in their lazy boy. I have a sister that's a work-at-home nurse I have a sister that's a work-at-home teacher, I would love to be a work-at-home truck driver operating my truck from my lazy boy in my living room. And furthermore most people would probably disagree with me, but I am of the opinion that it will get rid of millions of asshole truck drivers out here that are causing all the fucking problems and giving the government reason to think we need all this bullshit. I'm not sure what a l9ck symbol is? If u have Keep Truckin. U just go to the screen where it says the truck type, truck number and make of the truck. Press the LEAVE VEHICLE BUTTON. And unplugged the cord from the ELD box
Yes u have to unplug your ELD..U then.leave the truck. There's a button u press to leave the truck. That puts u in manual mode. I show it in the video. Thanks for watching
No the color is blue when your ELD is not plugged into the truck computer. When u are plugged into the truck computer it turns green. But DOT can only see black and white when u send your logs to their email. If u are getting inspected. But if they look at your ELD. They can see the blue or green color. It's the chance we take. But there are so many ELD services out there. DOT doesn't know the blue or green colors.
If you doing something ilegal the officer will notice right away and you need to show documentation and fuel receives and be careful whatever doing with your ELD really,

Actually, the officers can see when you disconnected/connected, your mileage and engine hours while disconnected, and your disconnect/reconnect locations as well. Also, there is an indicator in your log that will be shown if ELD gets unplugged.

I’m using keep trucking. But I can’t change the driving status. I can change on , off and sleeper but not driving

This is only works if you're an owner or fleet manager. When you're a company driver that ain't gonna work. It doesn't let you edit driving.

Does it still work? I used to use Keep trucking before it was connected to the eld. You just have to have your authority to super edit right?
