    The Japanese product should be marketed as "Kirk's Koboyashi Maru" because it's modelling on cheat mode! Great video as always! 👌

    Hello Adam, like in ceramic moulds make it more blocky with two thumb grips, use a mould release agent, thinly coat brush in liquid dish soap or hand care cream - the white morph will be a more durable mould, stamp or texture roller are some other ideas...General Rid Stump!!!

      I’ve got some release agent from when I make rubber molds so that could be worth a try, always fun to experiment, the stamp idea is an interesting one.. may have to expand on that!

    Highly recommend Milliput Green Stuff mix around 50/50. Makes you GS go a lot further and it’s almost as flexible. Plus I find it nicer to sculpt.

      I do mix the 2 materials a fair bit and explored that on another video, never really tried sculpting with it though, I usually just stick to casting things.

      Nothing to be sorry about, my reply wasn’t meant as a negative, appreciate the comment!

    you should have brushed vaseline on the two part mold, would have come apart easy
    Personally I'd use a thickener and brush on silicone or make a plasticine dam and just pour it

      That or mold release, I’ll have to experiment.

      By thickener do you mean like corn starch?

    • @Bunyip_Studios
      @Bunyip_Studios 2 месяца назад

      @@Sandrip-k9g No, there's a specific product for thickening silicone, makes it more of a paste so it will stay on vertical services. I'll look on MB Fibreglass and see what it's called

    • @Bunyip_Studios
      @Bunyip_Studios 2 месяца назад

      @@Sandrip-k9g it's called "RTV Silicone Thixotropic Thickening Agent (Thixo)" Thixotropic is the key word. You can get them for, latex, Urethane etc, just ask your supplier when you buy the silicone

      @@Sandrip-k9g Sorry dude. thought I'd replied already. No, it is a silicone Thixotropic additive, specific for silicone

    Where did you get the oyamaru from?

      I ordered it from Amazon, in my bio links I’ve an Amazon shop link section with it on, it’s currently out of stock though I’m sure it will be back soon.

    I can see where the white morph would be a superior choice, more mechanical parts that you really want to keep the structure

      It has got some great detail to it, someone else has suggested that using mold release agent solves the 2 part mold problem, I’ll have a try sometime.
