It’s a pocket sized fidget popper toy, if you’re UK based it was 99p ish from home bargains. They have them in all the pound stores as well.

Glad it was useful, I’ve also got a series of videos on the channel where I build a couple of reaver titans, in those videos I cover pinning joints etc which isn’t something I did on this warhound due to the pose, could be useful if you’re going to do more than the stops up straight pose.

@ Okay I’ll have to check those out. Right now I’m using your build as a step by step guide which is really nice. The glue then green stuff then combine pieces after test fitting and marking is such a good idea. Also I’ve incorporated the cross hatch scoring on the models area before gluing on more basic kits and those stick together even better. Anyways thank you again, it’d be way way harder without any of these techniques and video demonstration

They are my favourite part of the hobby as well, that’s why I can’t get away from Nurgle, too many kitbashes are possible!

The original is great just a little athletic looking for Nurgle, very fitting for the more agile chaos gods, glad you like the work!

Funnily enough someone else has said that, I’m going to have to give it a go, seen it but never tried it, would also give a substantial weight saving as well which could very much help in some projects.

Nurgle conversions can be wide ranging and a lot of fun, I think it’s why I keep coming back to Nurgle time and again.

I’ve seen the aluminium foil trick but never tried it, I do have a big project coming up so I might have to run some experiments before I do that as it would absolutely be a money saver.

@@adamshobbystuff Would be nice to hear your thougths on it after you tried it, only used it for hills on bases not infilling for models.

I think I’m going to try and make a beast of nurgle with it, something small ish but big enough to really test the process.

7! That’s pushing even my tolerance for Nurgle, it’s the right number though 😂 I do actually have some silicone tools, force of habit picking up the metals and a bit of laziness as they are at the bottom of a hobby box..

Once they are activated they can act however the controller wants, don’t generally make it out of the rooms alive though!

Glad you like the work! I was initially looking at the same thing using plague drones but it didn’t quite fit, this worked well although expensive if you didn’t want the marine flyer that gave the engines in a different army.

@adamshobbystuff yea trying to find way to reduce the cost. Also need to find twists to make similar idea feel and look my own. Looking into other models bits to see what comes to mind.

I think In most kitbashes and conversions there’s a point where I’ll feel I may be making a mess of it! Very happy with this one though, one thing I didn’t mention is how much heavier this is than the original, it’s got a lot of added volume!

@ I loved it! I’ve been toying with the idea of doing a Soul Grinder kitbash myself to finish my 1000 points of Nurgle Daemons. I wanna use the Ravening Gnarloak from Warcry as the base. But I’m not sure if the dimensions will fit? Plus I’m a little nervous undertaking such a big project when the Soul Grinder just got axed from AoS Moggotkin

This is one of GWs best sets for a while, great to have the death guard heroes again.

@@adamshobbystuff- Absolutely the best! But there have been lots of reports of the mini’s missing bits and pieces from Sprues and even entire Sprues missing all together!! Happened to me too!

As best as I can work out it’s Tallarn Sand and Ushabti bone for the first 2, they are very close. Off white is a bit harder to match, maybe screaming skull or go very very gentle with ceramite white.

It’s a basing paste from Vallejo, just painting simply with Vallejo beasty brown. I’ve used that method in a few videos, usually put some skulls etc into the mud for extra detail.

Possibly a poor choice of words, I have seen a few different versions of this arch and the stick on lights as well, I’m sure it’s a combination of different suppliers.

@@adamshobbystuff Yeah, probably. I don't want to say that the Lamp is bad. Actually I heard good things about it. As with every other Hobby company, GSW is selling great stuff as well as not so great stuff. I just want to share my opinion about the "expertise" term in relation to GSW.

I’ve had the arch for coming up to 2 years now, I like it, very useful for the phone mount to do the videos, I think it’s that utility that’s meant I’ve not looked elsewhere yet.
