Thank you for taking me back up Konpirasan. I climbed all the way up to the top where you were in the middle of August 2011. I was a sweaty, hot mess, but it was worth it. I remember when I got up there, there was only one couple who was taking a rest. If I remember there's a stone bench on the left side just before the last stairs to that small shrine. One of the sandals that I used to hike up there was gaping because the heat melted the glue that was holding the strap to the side. Thank god it held up until I got back to my hotel in Takamatsu. I wonder if you guys saw the huge wooden lantern near the Kotoden train station?

the coin floats easier in that larger pool of water than say, a glass because when you place the coin down youre causing less ripples to be reflected back to where the coin is which breaks surface tension and will cause the coin to fall.

The "love hotel with garage directly under room" thing is VERY popular in the city where I'm from, Hialeah Florida. The street that most of them are on, Okeechobee Blvd, used to be a really seedy place in the 80s with crack houses and rampant prostitution - when they finally cleaned it up in the 90s, they started putting up these fancy new love hotels (Executive Presidente Hotel, El Paraiso Motel) with that same layout. Never got to check one out, unfortunately! (both love hotels I've been to in my life were in Japan - one for the expressed purpose, the other a similar booking.com experience)

Our car turns off to lessen co2 emissions, much better for the environment especially when you are in a city to lessen all the air pollution from idling cars. My space angles , you two crack me up 🤣🤣
