My best friend and i are trying to plan a trip to pa. We are loss as to whereabouts to go. We aren't going to keep any fish but we do want to fill a memory card with pictures. Happy to hear from anyone as to what county and waters are the best. Don't want stockers. Want to catch wild brownies...
RE: 10:06 “…Sorry if I’m a little worked up” Dude, that was contained and well managed! What’s a catch like that without a little celebration at the net!! Awesome Stuff! Thanks for sharing!
I thoroughly enjoy your vids man. Reminds me of my stomping grounds. I grew up near Bradford. Living in Wyoming now, and still love chasing those big oll Brown. Was fortunate enough to pull a 28.5 inch 8.25lbs brown this past fall. What an amazing experience! Keep up the great fishing man, love your content.
Been watching your posts on FB for years, finally followed you to You Tube and its fun to finally match the voice and methods from seeing your posts there. Awesome!
Lol….. well I’m glad you’re enjoying…… 😊certainly trying to throw out an even mix of entertainment & strategy/skills &/knowledge in my productions 👌😁😂😜🤙
I a spin fishing Creeker in Colorado. I'm just now getting into streamers on my spin rod. I'd love to hear you commentate more about your technique. I can understand your casting choices, and the twitching of the pole, but how are you fishing that streamer? What's it look like in the water? Your reeling speed and why? Nice vid man. Thank you!
@@Scott-Shot I really appreciate you tuning into my channel and thank you very kindly for your kind compliments! 👌😁🎣 Basically the streamers that I use are on a 1/4oz jig head, they sink fairly quickly to the bottom, which is where I generally like to let them sink to before I start jigging them back towards me. The colors I use basically imitate either a crayfish or a small baitfish….. I don’t retrieve very fast, pretty much when I feel weight, I set the hook, but occasionally I will see the take! 🤙😁
Good job! You got your skill dialed in! This makes sense using a spinning rod for streamers. Would be tough to fly cast in some of the spots you spin cast. Tightlines!
Love fishing those types of streams. Start practicing the slingshot method. Seems to help me. Grab the lure draw tension and let it fly. Takes time but gets easier
For somebody that also lives in PA that fishes but has never targeted wild browns….where/how may I start looking for and find creeks that hold the species? And on top of that good stretches to explore….this truly is an art and something I have to get into
Well, sir, I basically have learned a lot of water throughout my life in my local area just by fishing and exploring different streams, then basically I just started moving throughout the state doing the same with the exception of a little bit more searching online for Wild trout waters….. This gives you a little more of a basis, that way you’re not driving 2-4 hours for a possible skunk! Lol👌😁
Streamers. Catch em with your hands, browns don't like to come out deep n under those tree roots u'll get em cornered, would already had 15, good supper for a few nights. & by hand. You're doing good though. But don't tell the world of spinnin streamers in brooks geesh man... NOW! For real, really really nice brown on non state stocked water! Beautiful! Nice job, sir! Just what I like to see, very nice!

There are some wild trout fishing opportunities year round yes….. meaning all streams that are non-approved trout waters are fishable year round to catch and release & All streams that are approved trout waters/stocked trout waters go out of season from mid- February through opening day at 8a.m. on April 6th👌
How much for a guide. I’m literally drooling at these monsters you catch. I would love to catch one of those on my 4’6” st croix. I’ll sign a non-disclosure agreement about the streams you’d take me too. I live in south eastern pa. Please take me on an excursion. I am just as passionate about trout as you are.
Yeah man I landed like just over a little branch, was just getting ready to complain & then the giant black Missile shot out from under the bank & game on…… just that quick! Lol No man…. That’s my PB in that stream but my actual PB is in my videos….. it’s the one that looks like it ate a woodchuck & has the super mega kype!! 🤙😁
I’ve honestly fished all over the state in my videos….. the only region I haven’t really tackled much is the southeast corner! I’ve caught 20’s out of like 75 different streams now! They’re out there👌🤙
@@thereelavery6801 from what I’ve seen it’s called an Overhand Loop knot….. I’ve never actually known the name of it…… my dad taught me that knot when I was young & it’s the only knot I’ve ever used!👌
It’s kinda against trout stream “rules” or keys to success but…. Instead of casting up stream or across stream… if you fish down stream and hang your bait in the current and allow those fish to ambush a still bait from “behind” you can be successful when the other method isn’t working. I just cast em down stream and don’t real but just let your bait hold down in the current and let the water give your bait action. It looks more like real bait fish. Since fish orientation is pointing up stream 98% of the time they tell trout fishermen to fish down stream to up stream so the fish won’t spot the angler behind them…. But In reality fish are checking behind them pretty often anyway because that is where predators come from. If you cast up stream and let your bait float down stream it looks more like trash than something alive. Anyway …. For whatever reason they like it hanging in the current some days.
Omg .. awesome im doing back flips for you

Just curious...the streamers must have a bit of weight to them in order to sink right?
Yes….. they have a jig head on them! 👌

do you tie your own streamers?

These streamers are a pain in the ass to cast, they have hardly any weight. Do they make weighted streamers ?
Yep….. with a jig head attached 👌
Waiting for the day you throw some xraps!
Definitely not out of the realm of possibility lol🤙😁
Why was the conversation officer interested in talking to you ? Was there some fishing violation?

Go back to your good luck red ultra light. That rod your using thou it's a good name brand, doesn't seem to be working for you.
Isn't it expensive buying those big browns from the hatcheries?
