Alot of fish swimming in a lot of trash. Watching this with my 7 year old son. He is impressed with the fish, thinks a lot less of anyone who throws all their trash in the water.
Of all the fly fishing videos I've seen recently, this one tops them all. With the number of high quality browns you are pulling out of a small stream - man, you hit the lottery, but all your hard work and persistance paid off too. I hope this video hits 1 million views dude. Congrats. I hope to some day catch a nice size brown (or any brown) on a fly rod. I'm still learning.
Thank you so much! The video is doing well but a million feels like an unreachable goal 😅 anyways I'm sure you'll get a brown on the fly soon enough!! Just stick with it and good luck out there!
yeah, i went out again today and didn't see or catch anything. but i do like being in nature so that's a big plus. I think I've been trying fly fishing since May/June. Almost every day, caught a few small bass and fall fish, only seen a trout one or two times. Will check out Wildfly!@@cadenroberts863
Ì have never seen a stream with this many big fish. I'm truly happy for you to share fishing like this with people who will never experience such a thrill. Thanks for your time and effort. Tightlines brother.
That is a legit Brown. I’m so tired of other anglers, stating something like “giant_____”, and then catching 16” fish and then freaking out about them as if I didn’t do it when I was 3. Thanks for all your hard work, yout expertise (no doubt developed through passion) and entertaining videos!
Wow what an epic day, when you have to use 2 hands to count the number of 20”+ fish, that’s truly something special. Makes not having a rain jacket the furthest thing from your mind
I dreamed of catching a fish like this. For me, fish of a lifetime. Went to New York and a guide took me out. Caught just one and that will have to do me. Satisfied. At my age and medical condition, those days are behind, so enjoy watching others enjoy success. Your video tops all I have enjoyed. Thanks for sharing. And the flies - you know we all are interested in them as well. Of course, everyone wants to know but don’t ever tell! We have to find for ourselves! 😅
Thank you so much!! And the fly I was using in this video was mostly a sex dungeon, so it's not a super secret fly or anything. Glad you enjoyed the video
I really enjoyed your California series and thought, boy that’s going to be hard to top. Then you go and do it with a 12 min video filled with some amazing brownies and even more amazing takes. Well done.
Great fishing. Also very cool shots. You do a good job upstream streamer fishing. Those fish all had all their mandibles so not caught that often if ever. Bravo.
What a video!!! The six trout are marvellous, and five of them are monsters. One of the best videos I have ever watched: the bites (time 1:17), the powerful fights, the beautiful fish, the peace and calmness of that rainy day…awesome dude!
These streamer videos are a real eye opener. Do you have a fly line for chucking dungeons with a six wt that you could recommend? Thanks again for putn out these great videos
Had a fantastic prefrontal fishing session of my own tonight. Ended up hooking 3 fish over 17 inches. Landed 2 of them including one that was 20 and a quarter. The rain doesn’t bother you so much when the bite turns on!
Astounding quality of fish in a relatively small stream. Totally impressed. Never seen this upstream streamer fishing practised. In Scotland, where I fish, similar sized rivers tend to have much smaller fish 0.5 - 1.5lbs. I usually use nymphing or dry fly. Typically, wet small attractor/streamer flies are fished down and across stream. Next falling flood, I will give this approach a try! Great post, thanks for showing this! You had a super days fishing, well worth your effort!
@@mcviscardohe will probably reply but I wouldn't worry too much about tippet size when streamer fishing big streamers. Anything around 1x should be fine, but definitely wouldn't go any lighter then 3x if expecting anything decent.
I don't eve use tippet half the time, but when I do its usually 1x or 0x. Line is floating streamer line from cortland, don't need it to sink on small creeks most of the time. Flies were sex dungeon and circus peanut mostly
WOWWW !!! U out did yourself on this one and what a joy to watch ! Those were some monster Brownies and what a day to remember (for good reasons). Thank you for your persistence given the weather and wet undies ! 😄👍
This video quality is amazing! And these fish have gorgeous color. Hats off to you for pushing through and sharing this victory with us. God is good man!
Gotta love when a tropical storm comes in early fall 😂 it gave us a good rain too . Streams barely rose much from it because it had been so dry and low water conditions. Hopefully we get another good rain .
WOW! The quality of those Brown trout were "AMAZING!" Not sure where this creek is but I would risk rain, snow, and sleet for the opportunity to hook one of these slobs! What a blessed day you had. What State were you fishing?
Man that is super cool! Beautiful, clean, big browns in a small stream! On a streamer bite no less, what more can you sky for?! You fought them well too considering all the spots they could have smoked you! Close quarters, trusting in your tippet, your rig, hook, etc... You were on point! Awesome to watch! Thats whats fly fishing is all about! Wicked stream too! Nice water color, structure, etc. Bravo! Fish on!!
WOW!!😳that was the day on the stream you only dream about all the hard work TU did years ago really has paid back with great dividends for savvy fishermen like yourself, and big treats equals be eats Thanks again
Wow, super cool video. What a day on the water you had. So many great things here, starting with the quality of the fish. But there is much more. That is a beautiful piece of water with such interesting structure, and you read the water perfectly. Nice upstream casting with a perfect retrieve to let the streamer naturally drift and swim downstream. At the beginning, that undercut with the brush laying on top, you coaxed one out of there. Most fisherman would not have bothered, too technical and no back cast and WAY too many sticks to get hung up on. Then luring that one out from under that bush, brilliant. But the one at 4:46 was pure gold. Tight spot where the stream narrowed to maybe 3 or 4 feet, a tree trunk, and fast water and you found him. I'm not sure I would have even bothered to cast to that spot. Heck, I know I wouldn't have! Again, brilliant. And I love that you didn't mess around too much playing them with all the structure and obstacles, get them to the net. Thank you for sharing it.
Thank you for your storytelling, videography and fishing skills. You truly inspire me to become a better fishing content creator with every video you publish🤝forever fan
Just had Amazing day brown trout fishing this past week.same weather pattern here in Missouri. Caught ten browns over twenty inches including two five pounders and a 26 in the went 7lb. Gotta love fall
Amazing again Hardman.. there’s a stream w similar conditions in NE KY of all places that I hit and very occasionally have landed 18’s. You likely know it!But they don’t get this big.

Nice video and interesting browns.. they have this very peculiar blue hue around the gills (operculum), never seen that feature so recurrent.. must be a genetically distinctive trait of this stream / immission

Yup, that's the weather for big browns! Although I've taken good ones on nice days ... Love it when they have that streak of turquoise on them too.
Watching you catch those brown's never gets tired. You motivate me to get out more and hit the waters. Awesome video and always tight lines. Tony

What a tank! Nice work!
So happy I’m not the only one who talks to the fish 😂! I’ll be in that area this weekend coming up!!
Those were some amazing fish! What a day of fishing!
Doesn't get much better!! Unless I had stayed dry maybe 😂
How can there be so many big browns in one stream? Amazing and thank you for showing this to us!
Well I moved probably 6+ miles of water. With that context I feel like it's not nearly as unbelievable. Thanks for watching!!
