I recent bought a ZL1 1LE which inspired my dad to get the Hellcat. We have had so much fun cruising together. Nothing but respect for each other’s cars. At the end of the day we both eat up everything we meet on the road. Great review and and great energy! Should retry the hot lap with the A10 on the camaro if you get a chance. Fly me out there and hook me up with some tires and you can use my 2019.

I went for a ride in the standard Hellcat and it rearranged my kind on what I thought fast was, feeling it fish tailing for traction and then blow you away when it hooks up and accelerates harder than anything you've ever felt. That red-eye would be terrifying.
my favorite things is during the challengers flybys you hear the supercharger noise first out of nowhere building up almost like a warning and then the car flys by and your left with the roar of the great american v8 and its sounds AMAZING

Love it! I remember the days when 450 HP was a lot of horsepower from the factory. Nice to see Detroit develop the technology to give us the best of both worlds. I expected the Hellcat to be faster at the drag strip and the Camaro to be faster at the track. For me, if I'm buying a new car, it'll be the ZL1/1LE Camaro. It wouldn't take much more than a good tune to make the Camaro faster than the Hellcat at the drag strip while it will take a fair amount of work for the Hellcat to run with the Camaro at the track. If you're feeling generous though, I'd take either car for Christmas. LOL

Great cars. My favourite thing in this video is a subtle thing that has nothing to do with the cars. I love the hot lap through the window outside looking in camera view. You can see how the cars behaving and the struggle at the wheel to keep it on the track. No one does that.

That ZL1 Camaro is just a monster. All around top performance. I'd like to see it with the auto transmission it probably would be neck and neck with the hellcat in the drag race due to the lighter weight. Both are badass cars.

I utterly love my 2019 Challenger, it's such a glorious vehicle. When I bought mine (392 Scat Pack), I was also looking at a SS, but preferred the look of the Challenger over the Camaro.
@@EscapeFPs well the SS is faster, but it has way more blind spots, but I had zero issues with my Challenger and drove it all year round here in Canada. But test drive both and see what you enjoy more.
they (Dodge) tried them with stick, didn't work nearly as well so to get everything they can out of the engine they made a new transmission, I think or I'm at least close. toy can probably find the exact story if you look it up.

Haven’t seen a stock ZL1 beat a stock Hellcat in a drag race yet so I doubt it would have made a difference in the outcome. Probably would have been a closer race though 🤷♂️
Velocity HAWK nah the zl1 would beat it I guarantee it he camero gets power down sm better and if it had the auto that 10 speed would be cranking through gears with no effort dodges autos are unfair vs a manual

That ZL1 Camaro is just a monster. All around top performance. I'd like to see it with the auto transmission it probably would be neck and neck with the hellcat in the drag race due to the lighter weight. Both are badass cars.
It would probably win honestly. The 10 speed is a different world as much fun as the 6 speed manual is.

I prefer the zl1 over the redeye even the redeye is faster. Zl1 looks and sounds better

I utterly love my 2019 Challenger, it's such a glorious vehicle. When I bought mine (392 Scat Pack), I was also looking at a SS, but preferred the look of the Challenger over the Camaro.
How did you like it I’m trying to decide between the two 2ss or scatpack wide body
@@EscapeFPs well the SS is faster, but it has way more blind spots, but I had zero issues with my Challenger and drove it all year round here in Canada. But test drive both and see what you enjoy more.
