Thanks so much for the shout out, I’ve been watching your channel for ages, appreciate the support! Wes - New Zealand
Officially a TAYMITE🦒now Wes.Get enough Kiwi's on TAYM🦒 we might be able to compete with these Giraffes🦒😁😆😂🤣.
@@ruahinesrider Gives me motivation to keep doing the videos!
Thanks Wesley 😁 brilliant videos 😁
😂😂😂😂
I love your channel Taym, really enjoyable approach, just enough tech talk but not too much, keep up the excellent work guv.
😂😂😂 thanks Duncan 😁 that’s the aim 😁
Morning TAYM, the AJS in the garden is excellent, a bit more classy than our scooter plant pot stand! 😅😅
Cheers Mel 🍻
Agreed 👍. And there's no place in any garden for an old toilet - even if it's planted with trailing lobelia. That's just plain wrong 🫣😂
😂😂😂😂thanks Mel 😁
😂😂😂😂😂
Great mutter as usual TAYM, makes my Monday, starts the week of just right
Thanks Chris 😁
Sorry Mr TAYM, late to the party. Errr, you have me on the flickering dash screen on the Himi 450 ? The flickering which everyone can see in the video’s is certainly not what I saw in the flesh……it was a frame per second issue with our camera’s which caught all of us out, except Martin Trafford who recorded his a 25fps and didn’t suffer the same. Hence why I am a bit confused 🤔 The one I rode had the white background, so the indicator was clearly visible too, and certainly no flickering. Congratulations on passing the 7k subs mark, big achievement. That AJS reminded me of a 1947 500 single Norton I had in the early 80’s, great fun, but a leg breaker to start 😮😅 Great mutter.
Thanks Ian 😁 it’s definitely the frequency 😁 if you look in your camera settings you can change it. But if you do it for the himmy, remember to change it back otherwise any other artificial light will flicker 😁
Love the image section. I only remember the Puch’s, in JPS black and gold colours
Learnt to ride on one of those,Puch Grand Prix Special, 55mph n a front disc you could do stoppies with
...and pedals😅
Never let me down thinking about it,cracking lil bike
Wonderful era for mopeds 😁 thanks SBK 😁
Wonderful 😁
That's a very nice AJS, Taym. Thanks for the mention, too. Let's hope you can get some better weather, so that more rides become possible.
Thanks Chris 😁 fingers crossed 😁
What a Wonderful Mutter Mr TAYM!
Great photos and videos TAYMites! 👍
I’m getting ready to take the cover off the Ultra Classic and start the almost 400 mile ride home.
It feels great to be back on the bikes again.
I’m just hoping the noisy fuel pump gets me home. I noticed it when I got down here.
Have a great week everyone!
Thanks PW 😁 have a safe ride 😁
Hi, TAYM congratulations on 7k +, thanks for the mention. 😎
Thanks Stephen 😁
Afternoon taym enjoyed today’s mutter with the photos.
I was going to go out today on the 1st ride since I repaired my bike but it started to hailstone down the I can put up with but not hail liked it had snowed everywhere 👍🏍️
Thanks Derek 😁 yes, crazy weather at the moment 😁
You wake I’m still drinking tea cannot sleep
Hi TAYM, thanks for the mention, we morphed from “The Iron Curtain Stinkwheel Gang” into “The Karl Marx Brothers “ because of our affinity for East European bikes and the names are all suitable prefixes to marks. The fourth member of our little group has yet to be named but with his riding style he could well become Skid.
I’ve always pronounced Sachs as Sax but I’m not sure if that’s correct.
😂😂😂 thanks PB 😁 yes, I forgot a couple of things such as Bob having pee 😂😂😂
The Four Roberts ? Surely that should be The 4 Bob Gang ? ( as in 4/- ) 😁
😂😂😂 or twenty pence 😁 thanks Richard. 😁
Took my Gsxr 1000 k6 out today,, and it stayed dry,,😁,so got my SV1000 be getting it out for a spin , before another ship is in for a refit ,,I work in Harland and Wolf,, work permitting bike is out ☘️☘️☘️☘️ from northern Ireland great to see all the bikes in the photos
Marvellous 😁 some serious heavyweight metal there 😁 both in play and in work 😁 thanks Cecil 😁
Another good mutter! The AJS was outstanding!!! Would love to see a video of someone riding it.
Thanks Frank 😁
A nice quiet run to work, lovely. I can highly recommend the NC, but then you know that haha, the lad next door is thinking seriously thinking about one as well. Great all round bikes. Have a great week TAYM.
Thanks BV 😁 yes, a marvellous bike 😁
Decent mutter TAYM. The Puch 50 reminds me of the marvellous time of the sports mopeds. I had an AP50 which did about 40mph but a mate had the Fizzie with barrel, piston and carb from the TY80 trials. An extra tooth on the gearbox sprocket gave it a true 50 mph capability. Previously I had a Garelli Tiger Cross too. I rode this on the fields and this gave me some useful handling experience. One day, I pulled a wheelie and out of the corner of my eye saw a front wheel rolling off into the distance. I thought 🤔 aye aye, someone's lost a wheel here. Of course, I realised too late before both of my fork stanchions embedded themselves into the ground and tipped me over the handlebars. Character-building it was 😂
😂😂😂😂😂 brilliant 😂😂 yes I had an AP50 and a Fantic GT 😁 marvellous times 😁
Great stuff. Thank you for the mention, and congrats on 7k 👍👌
Have Seen 👀 Marks videos I.T Mark Belringer on the Classic 500 with on/off road tyre's riding all over NZ 🇳🇿 on gravel roads.Has a Interceptor 650 too & local legend in RE community.Gee the places HE takes that RE500 I think 🤔 HE thinks he's on a DrZ 650😁🤣.
Check Mark Belringer out too TAYM 🦒 I think 🤔 I sent you a link not sure if you got it.
Will do
@@iantownsend17 Just watched Wes after your recommendation I.T & HE has a Black Adder.
HIS video's are flash & drone shots etc never seen HIM before.
Yea, brilliant videos RR
Thanks Ian 😁
Your down town never gets old. And traffic is so few. Unless you film Sunday night!😂
Thanks LoY 😁😂😂
Congrats on the 7K! Well deserved!
Thanks 2WV 😁
good ride - thanks
Thanks Iggy 😁
Everyone is different, TAYM .. I really loved your 1st WW2 museum exploring, I really do that era.. Terrible times to live trough, but we have to remember... That is why I love Bullet Wonderer too.
Yes, love the modern history too 😁 thanks Stefan 😁
What a great weekend, saterday had a ride on the Honda ST 1300, but sunday we had a opening ride with the Yamaha XJR club. 30 riders in total. This week has rain if the app is to believed, so ride when you can..
Wonderful 😁 I bet that was a sight 😁thanks WB 😁
TAYM you’ve got 7k subs 😳 7k TAYM that’s unbelievable, on a serious note well done all the hard work is starting to pay off 👍🏻 keep on keeping on 👏 carry on that man onwards and upwards Caio for now tat ta 👍🏻
Thanks HN 😁 marvellous isn’t it 😁
Wonderful pictures today to get me moving on a Monday morning! Thanks for doing this and for all your effort!
Thanks Mark 😁 hope you are ok and riding faster with less weight😁
I noticed you had 7k subs on last video.Congratulations TAYM 🦒.
Yes, unbelievable isn’t it 😁😂😂 thanks RR 😁
@@TAYM I sent a funny dog 🐕 video to you TAYM 🦒.
@@ruahinesrider love it 😂😂
@@TAYM I must of watched it 12 times😆 & the music 🎶🎶 Raw Hyde 🐕🐕 was appropriate for the army of little dogs😁😆😂🤣.
Morning TAYM, marvelous mutter......
Thanks H 😁
Thank you it's really going to great I however DO NOT like the round peg piece on the rear brake lever it'll require some alteration certainly 🎉 Taym always tune in to hear your content the machine was smaller than I thought it'd be I'll never retire even though I am too much of a busy body😂😊🎉
Thanks Jay 😁😂😂😂
AJS nice bargain I thought and she runs so which of the Triumphs TAYM the speed or the X ? Liked the castle vid these places are always interesting strange how the church always has the biggest and most impressive buildings isn't it 😉those classic 350's do look really nice I can see the attraction .The Puch's were good little bikes I remember there was swathes of then about back in those heady days the Grand Prix the John PLayer special in black and the yellow ones with the chrome tanks 😊Good one 👌👍
Thanks Crumb 😁 I like them both but think it would have to be the X 😁
Morning taym not a bike day today I’m afraid but that AJS is a lovely looking bike and a beautiful proper classic lovely for a bimble on the back lanes I can’t believe how cheap it was be something worth considering if your looking to get into genuine classic or vintage don’t know what class it would be in I’ve got a 1982 Mercedes 230e with 53.000 miles genuine it was my fathers who has owned it for 37 years left it to me when I registered it at 40yrs old the new document says HISTORIC I’m surprised at that at only 42yrs old anyway take care ride safe
😂😂😂 yes, I think there are a few of us would make the Historic label 😂😂😁 thanks Nick 😁 an 82 merc 😁 getting to the end of a great era for them I think 😁 the last of the proper mercs 😁
Pics of plants and flowers? Sounds like your Mrs and my Mrs are similarly wired!😂😂
😂😂😂😂 thanks TBG 😁
Great mutter TAYM,as you said a lot of the reviews claim it’s not happy below 3000 rpm, really fancy for the first time in my life getting a second bike as in a himilayan, even in marigold brown, lol,I’d consider getting this colour and putting the £100 towards the upgraded bash plate, and try my hand at falling off,I mean Greenlaning. 😂
Yes, it almost ought to be compulsory to be marigold brown 😂😂😂 just to keep it quirky 😁 thanks BJ 😁
Great video of the ajs, have a good week TAYM
Thanks GCK 😁
Nice one TAYM. Spot on weather this weekend here in south west. Great to get out riding and not have to wash the bikes after. Also test rode Shotgun 650, which was a hit and a miss for me.
Tell me more 😁 thanks Jeff 😁
@@TAYM The misses was mostly down to my personal preferences, rather than a criticism of the bike. Its deffo my favourite looking RE. It feels and looks solidly built, but hides its spec weight well. Suspension wasn't bad at all for a cheap bike and brakes good, especially the rear. Power, torque & engine sound were all good for me.
The footpeg position didn't suit me at all, wasn't keen on the clocks, and i think it would look much better with a 2 into 1 zorst. I also dont like 6K mile valve checks.
@@moto-jeff thanks Jeff 😁
@@TAYM Triumph 400X next to test ride, hopefully later this week.
I enjoyed the views around Bury St. Edmunds....👍👍
Thanks GBD 😁
Morning Taym. Todays mutter up to your normal high standards. Please continue with your local area lowdowns, l for one, find them very informative. Living in North Norfolk, l spent many working years based in both Bury St Edmunds and lpswich. l had never heard the tale of the wolves, and found it interesting. Please keep it up 👍
Thanks Steve 😁 probably just a folk tale 😁
Two things, you mentioned an announcement re Stonham bike night, then never said what it was!
Second thing, concerned about the well being of Bertie after his two missed gears a couple of weeks ago and never seen since ! !! You did mention you were doing some work on him but nothing since, an update urgently needed a concerned Classic 350 owner 😊
Thanks Peter 😁 yes, completely forgot 🤔 I will update in Fridays mutter 😁
👍👍🏍
Thanks Paul 😁
14th😲Made tea early to be ready & then TAYM 🦒 released video while I was making a cuppa🤣.
...well I was having a couple of Coopers Best Extra Stout, for medicinal purposes of course, and pretty much missed everything. That's why I'm late RR.😊
😂😂😂
when we consider that a yamaha xsr 900 triple is only 193 k fueled up - these chinese and indian bikes are very heavy , that is why they are cheap/value , there is little tech in making them refined , the new himmo is nearly twice the weight it should be ;;;; the yam 250 in the photo is probably a 1979 ram air cooled rd400 daytona special ;; nice ride around bury street st edmunds ;;;
Exactly 😁 thanks SG 😁 I was a bit taken back how heavy it felt, I felt the whole 200kg getting it off the side stand 😁
I think you've forgotten you christened the old git 'pete'😅. And you didn't tell the stonham barn news. Perhaps you were going to mention the bike show on the 5th may 🤔.
I will have to cover it on Fridays mutter 😁😂😂😂 thanks B 😁
The thing is Taym, did the four Roberts use to work on a car assembly line??
😂😂😂😂 brilliant 😂😂 hand built 😂😂 thanks GBD 😁 I wonder how many will remember 😂😂
Any issues with the Pirelli tires on the T100? Do you think upgrading them is worth it?
They have been ok but are coming up for needing replacement 🤔 I think I would go for something different though. I think they put metzlers on now but I think there are others that people use. 😁 thanks Scoot 😁
You said more on Stonham Barns later….. is it bad news?
I know, completely forgot 😁 will update on Friday 😁 thanks MP 😁
First
Bloody marvellous 😁😂😂😂 poor RR 😂 thanks Vincent 😁
@@TAYM Hi Taym, I’ve been first before but just wished you a good morning, this time I couldn’t resist saying “First” . Sorry RR.
