I'm riding my T100 for three years now, having more than 20000km on the clock. Owning motorcycles for 50 years, this one stands on top of the list. Cheers from Germany 🇩🇪
That’s great to hear! Are the Triumphs popular over in Germany? I’m hoping to explore Europe on the T100 in the near future. Thanks for your comment 🤙🏻
Howdy from Austin, Texas! I bought my Bonnie during the Pandemic lock downs in 2020. I've put over 15,000 miles on it since then. The bike kept me from going nuts with nothing to do, and provided endless hours of entertainment when the World turned upside down. It's the best bike I've ever owned hands down. Not a single problem mechanically. The original battery was a bit dodgy, but swapped that out. You are so right, they are super comfortable to ride. I usually can go up to 3 hours before I have to give the old tail end a bit of stand-up and rest. Great video!
Howdy Shane! I’m so pleased the channel is reaching as far as Texas, that’s really cool! 15,000 is serious mileage. I know Japanese bikes are known for their reliability but I think Triumph must be close behind from what I hear. Thanks for your comment, happy riding for another 15,000 miles 🤙🏻
@@surfingsteven1624 I recently bought a 2014 Yamaha YZ6R with very low miles on it (Simply because the deal was too GREAT to pass up) and it is a lot of fun to ride out on the twisties here in the Texas Hill Country. When I feel the NEED for Speed, I ride that one. However, the Bonnie is just a real pleasure to ride around town. Even though its HOT as Hades here right now, I usually jump on the Bonnie before taking a car. Happy riding to you too!

Have a 2007 Bonneville, 10,000 miles on the odometer. Bought it recently and I absolutely love it!!! Can't make a stop without someone approaching with compliments etc. And yes it is solid build quality!!!
I went to the dealership yesterday and looked at a new 2022 T100 in this same colorway. They've taken down the finish level on them for sure. No brushed engine cases, no polished aluminum rims, no center stand, more basic on the paint line, no chrome exhaust, lost the rubber fork boots, and a now it has a plastic fender. I don't know what they're thinking other than making it cheaper, then upping the rev limiter and telling everyone it's now got 10 more horsepower and is "lighter". It's the same bike but with cheaper parts, or parts taken off. This one is a beautiful bike. I still might buy it mind you, but it would be nice to get the brushed engine cases, and polished rims at least. Too many bikes are getting all blacked out as if it's a style, and not a cost cutting method. We don't all want a T120 just to get the proper finishes and bigger pistons.
I found a beautiful 2013 Bonneville 865cc with 1,800 miles for 1/3 the MRSP. Yes, one thousand eight hundred miles. Now it has 5k miles after one year of ownership. Awesome bike and mine was dirt cheap.
Watching the video you can tell just how much you love the bike. I had a 2005 T100 that I bought used with only 2000 miles on the odometer, installed an air box removal kit and British Customs Predator exhaust and road it for years without any issues. But, I just took delivery of a brand new 2023 T120 Chrome Edition. I loved my T100 but the T120 is on another level. Good luck with the bike. There’s nothing like a Triumph.

Great video Steven. Nice channel too :) I'm doing the full license at the moment (in Germany as it happens!) after dodging it for years. I've been thinking about either this (or a T120) and a Kawasaki Z900RS (or SE) simply because the latter is what my elder brother's friends were riding in the late 70's. By then the UK bike industry had well and truly shot themselves in both feet! However, every time I see and hear a T100 though, I'm sold. Triumph are really making fantastic bikes again... I'll keep you posted!
Hi Ben I am 64 please try a triumph Street Triple before you decide the triples are amazing but don’t go for a TFT screen 🤦♂️ loved my Bonneville T100 spirit but missed the handling and weight of the Street triple 675 think it’s got to be one of the best bikes produced ps I just bought a Triumph Speed Triple 1050 off a 67 year old it’s stunning 😎😎😎
Lovely Bike, my last Bonnie was a 1971 and loved it. used a bike like yours and enjoyed it I did a test ride for a mate. I feel the same as you do about my 1967 BSA A50, love it to bits.
Oh man! Such a nice review! I own an 2004 Hinkley Bonneville and it’s so convenient in the city and on short trips like 200-300 km… and it is still so much reliable , so it’s a definitely a motorcycle for life. And one tiny notice: panniers will amazingly push your riding pleasure to the cosmic level! Backpack is sooo annoying, and , what is even more important - it gives such a bulky look to that technical masterpiece…
Thanks 😁 excellent point. My next purchase for the T100 will definitely be some side panniers for an upcoming trip. Lockable panniers would be great! I’m looking out for a good condition used set on eBay. Happy riding 🤙🏻
I have a 2016 Street Twin. After 2 speed triples, zxr900 and 2 GPz1100's in my late teens/early 20's (40 years ago). Tbh, i found the 900 a little gutless for the motorway. Not quite enough power for easy overtaking. With a tec stage 1 cam, straight through V&H, decat and snorkel removal/dna filter she is now perfect. I also dropped in some 8.5n/mm linear springs in the forks and some 2820 hagons on the rear. After trying a friends, i also got the 1inch higher benchnseat and that was more comfortable for me. She now is capable of anything i want from a bike AND it looks drop dead gorgeous! It sounds drop dead gorgeous! It feels small but looks big. On paper it has weight but it doesnt feel like it. A fantastic, easy to live with bike. Oh yes....i average 68mpg (in stage 1 trim).
Steven excellent videos. I watch the regular most popular...Freddie, Itchy, Mr TAYM...and you do a commendable , comparable quality job! Well done my friend and LOVE your bike!
Hi Barry, that’s very kind of you to say! I too watch those shows so it’s nice to be in the same conversation 👍🏻 glad you enjoy the videos. Freddie’s videos gave me the inspiration a year ago to get my bike license and travel on two wheels. I have just ordered a wingman of the road goose tent so I can’t wait to make some videos on that once the weather warms up!
Only problem Ive had Wiring...on the Reg Rec the wiring is too short it breaks over time. Fit a longer piece before they go one on each side. For the same reason the section of wiring loop between tank and handlebar had to be replaced. Mechanically we're riding a dream
Mine is a 2002 Triumph America has 63k miles (101km), just traded for it a few days ago. It is a second bike for me. I've been riding for 52 years. My regular ride is a Harley softail (29k miles and also a cruiser). I can't do touring, but enjow rides of about 2 hours. I give my grandkids a ride once in a while, only if they wear a helmet. I also was worried about the mileage on the Bonnie, but it runs great. Overall, seems to be a winner. I guess it was stored in a garage for several years and the owner rebuilt the engine. He didn’t pay attention to how it looks though. There were zinc bolts instead of chromed and rust on some of the brake and lever parts. The seat was all torn up, swing arm paint was terrible, and the chain guard was broke. I fixed the cosmetics, but was baffled by the fuel petcock and the gas puddle if you don't turn it off. This was something from the 70s (my first bike was a new 1972 Honda Scrambler). I don't mind the carbs, but they should have come up with an automatic valve. Maybe vacuum? The kickstand "ball" when up is terrible. I struggle with putting it down at the end of a ride. Brake fluid is clear, he must have flushed the lines although I'll probably put a new pads on both front and rear. The chain isn't new, but needed to be oiled. Tires are ok, maybe replace with white walls next time. This bike needs a LED headlamp. At my age, it is getting harder to move the Harley around (big and heavy). I can do it, but I appreciate the lighter weight on the Triumph.
In my opinion, all Triumph Bonneville's run and look great. I promise, if you pull up anywhere riding a bonny, heads are going to turn. Cracking video mate.
yes, it´s a beauty and these bonnevilles are just great. the only thing that always held me back of getting a t-100 or street twin - yes, i prefer the 900ccm to the 1200 - was those tyres. i found them being slippery in the turns and on tar snakes, and we have loads of twisty roads here. i would love to try one with michelin road classics or conti road attacks on them, but where? anyhow, i completely agree otherwise and loved your enthusiasm! triumph are really beautiful bikes with superb engines and build quality… these bikes are real gentlemen!
I don't know why anyone would replace the stock Pirellis with the same tyre. Almost anything else will be better. I am running Bridgestone as there was no stock of Michelin Road Classic.
Tires are a personal preference, like grips or riding boots. Most people don't give the stuff much thought. Advanced riders understand these touch points on the bike, including the seats, can make drastic differences in the riding experience. Plenty of people are perfectly happy with the factory parts. I'm not one of them. 2nd gen Speed Twins come with Metzler Racetec RR K3's that have a dual compound construction. I bought a set of Continental Conti-motion sport touring tires to replace them when needed. That's what I'm comfortable with and feel confident in the consistent feedback those tires provide. I chose durability and long treadlife over all out performance.
I have a 2013 T100, I see examples that are tatty around the motor with corrision and weatherd engine paint. My bike is not too shabby, plenty of attention after a wet ride, and liberal application of GT85. Love it.
Got my license last May - had a 2003 Honda 750 to learn with - afterwards had thought about a Royal Enfield but after trying a Bonneville I was sold. Felt more refined and well built - the amount of power was perfect. Found a 2018 T100 black with all the upgrades I would have wanted for 6300 euro - had handlebar mirrors, center stand, and got Kappa Rambler panniers which suit the retro look Couldn’t be happier. Tried the RE Classic but that felt like a moped in comparison
Really interesting insight. The T100 Black is a superb looking machine. I’ll check out the Kappa panniers as I’m on the hunt for some. Thanks for the comment 👍🏻
@@surfingsteven1624 Yeah they’re great. The bike came with unused leather Trip Machine panniers but man they were a pain to take on and off as well as open. Fine maybe if you have a garage but I park in the street a lot. The Kappas snap open and closed super quick. I have the sides and top bag
Just got my 2021 T100. I get ya, I feel that I have found my forever bike. I had a CB1100EX and that was the forever bike until a got knocked off it. I also have a 2022 Interceptor 650. A T100 costs 1.5 times the RE650 and is 1.5 time better a bike. I am selling my RE650 as it has blown its gearbox (thankfully inside of the warranty).
Thanks for leaving a comment Nick 👍🏻 I can’t wait to ride a T120 to compare. That extra power & gear would be nice on a longer tour. Especially fully loaded!
Hey, I'm 6'2" and my used `22 blue and white T100 fits me very well and comfy. Shoe Size 12 doesn't really work with heavy Boots but that is the same for almost any Bike.
That bike has been very well looked after. It has not spent a lot of time out in the weather. Looks like brand new. Less than 50,000km is not a lot of km for a bike if it is well maintained. Good buy , sounds like you are enjoying it.
Hi Mark, thanks for your comment! The previous owner must have enjoyed cleaning it for sure. It’s due a good clean ready for spring. I have an oil change and some other bits so do first. Lots of adventures on the channel to come as soon as the weather warms up a bit :)
I'm 6'4" with a 36" inside leg, so yes I find the pegs too far forward and the bars a shade too high and pulled back....... but then that's the case for most bikes with me. 😞 Love my T 120 ( with progressive fork springs and decat (motone X) pipe) and yes I just want to ride all day. It's lovely........
Today I test rode a 2017 with 2900km's. I currently ride a Kawasaki Z800, very good bike but this T100 did something to me today, and I'm currently having a beer thinking I may well swap out the Z800 for the T100 - I'm also 60yrs so the T100 is kinda better suited.
My missus has a 2004 t100 Bonneville, which she has owned from new. The only issues she's had with it was a warped front disc, which was replaced with a floating disc, and a ignition coil that was starting to break down. The chrome is still good, as is the paintwork. The only downside with it, for me, is the fuel tank range. 120-140 miles range is really not enough, but my Street Scrambler 900 suffers from the same issue, although, the fuel economy on mine is better than her t100.
Hi Bob, thanks for your comment 👍🏻Interesting that your mileage range isn’t closer to 200 miles. When I fill up I get a read of around 220 miles on a full tank. Not sure how accurate that is though 🤔 If I ride like Miss Daisy it does surprisingly well but it’s very tempting to keep opening up the throttle!
Great nostalgic bike I am 64 and sold mine after a month 🤔 great for cruising down country lanes and around town but I missed the handling and engine on my awesome triumph street triple 675 🧐 try before you buy and set a lot of time aside for cleaning 😳
I haven’t yet tried a triple but they look like an exciting bike. I bumped into someone outside Halfords parking up his speed triple recently which he had owned for a year or so and he was going to trade in for a T120 or street twin because for everyday riding, the triple didn’t suit him. Different strokes for different folks I suppose 🙂 thanks for the comment Charlie 👍🏻
I'm 6'4" with a 34" inseam and I have a 2017 T120. I've not messed with the handlebars but I found that the Burton DS014-T120 seat really improved the rider triangle for me. The Burton seat is probably two inches higher than the stock seat and it gave me a little more leg room.
Hi Gerhard, some viewers have commented to say they enjoy background music and some would prefer no music at all. I try and strike a balance somewhere in between 🙂 There are going to be new videos coming soon so I will keep this in mind and try to get some raw sound from the engine / exhaust during the ride. Thanks 👍🏻
Ive got a 2019 t100 the only thing that has gone wrong was the gear selector wouldn’t engage any gears that was just after it was 2 years old and out of warranty but contacted my local dealer about the problem and they agreed to fix it for free….after doing some research it seems like a common problem on some models…apart from that excellent bike
Thanks for leaving this comment Andrew. I had read about this before purchasing the T100. Glad you were able to get yours sorted. Fingers crossed you don’t have anymore trouble with that 🤞🏻
Nice review Steven! And great bike, I have bought the exact same T100 including similar color. Stunning! I was done with riding I thought, having had a heavy adventure bike, I somehow lost the fun of it. But a simple testride with one of these brought me such a big smile on my face. It is lightweight, sound incredible, no bells and whistles which can all brake down, simply enjoying the simplicity of the bike, life and enjoying the scenery, I knew I just had to get one! The bike is amazing, so far I’ve only noticed some dampness behind the glass of the speedometer. This seems to be a typical problem on some of the bonnies. For the rest I’m missing a center stand for maintenance, but that can bought separately. For the rest, great ergonomics! I’m 6ft3 with a large inseam (like 93cm, don’t know in inches) and the bike still fits amazing, even after a longer ride. Even the fuel economy is excellent, 1 liter on 30km in average (only have ridden it on backroads so is even more with highways combined). Looking forward to more reviews, Greatings from the Netherlands, Gert
Hi Gert, thank you for your comment. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Some of the channels taller riders will be happy to read the T100 can be a suitable bike so thanks for that insight. More videos coming soon 🤙🏻
Hello - Very nice bike and review. Presumably the T100 would be ideal for me as I have not ridden a motorcycle for over 30 years but have passed my test back in the 80's With a budget of say £3500 - £5000, would that be enough to secure a good used Bonneville.
Hi and thanks for watching 🤙🏻 glad you enjoyed it. Welcome back to biking! I would say if you shop around you should be able to find a Bonnie you like within budget. If you aim for post 2009, you should get one with fuel injection. If you’re looking for something towards the lower end of your budget, be sure to check out the Kawasaki W800 and the Royal Enfields 👍🏻 let me know what you decide to get!
Hello - Thank you for the reply and advice. Would it matter if I went for the carburettor version if the opportunity arose? I guess fuel injection is a cleaner solution. Have always liked bikes but since passing my car driving test I've not been on a motorcycle since: I must be one of many of those 50 plus years or older who wants to come to bikes after a long time of no riding. The state of the roads and standards of driving these days is of somewhat concern. I have seen a couple of very good condition Bonneville's on a well known auction web site that look great with exceptional low mileage! Just need to be sure the mileage shown is genuine. I recently visited my local Triumph Motorcycle dealership and was overwhelm by what i saw. ( A tad intimidating 🙂 Buying new is possible, but might be best to purchase used at this moment in time.
Hell, you could easily pay an additional $1800 for destination fees and dealer prep alone on a new bike.......and then the damn service charge right after a short "break in" period on some.
Thanks Mike 🤙🏻 Interesting points and with that, most dealers will void the warranty if you don’t keep up with the service schedules starting from the first 500 miles etc in most cases.
Something I have noticed - barely any of the new liquid cooled T100s have gone above even 10k miles. Used prices are sat at about £6k at the lowest - meanwhile you can get a used T120 with 20k miles for £6k instead! Tbh if the engines in these bikes are going to struggle at 30k miles then something is seriously wrong with them, they are pretty under-stressed. The rest like electrics etc I'd expect to have more issues with age than mileage really.
I’m not sure if the majority of bikers cover that many miles on their bikes so the mileage tends to stay on the low side even by the time the bikes are 8 years old. I went for a higher mileage bike because they appeared to be a lot more affordable. However as you say, 30k miles isn’t really a lot at all in modern engine terms but there is a stigma attached to bikes being classed as high mileage when they creep over that 20 or 30k point. 🤷🏼♂️. Thanks for commenting 👍🏻
With modern build. Why should 30,000 miles be high mileage? If you had a 6 year old car with 30 000 miles it'd be low mileage. Bikes also tend to be pampered. Would the bike look like that if used all year? We've been fobbed off with poor quality bikes forever.

There is an incredible difference in used vehicles’ pricing between the UK and Italy. A 30k (miles)/ 50k (kilometers) T100 would still sell for at least 6000 euros down here. And of course would not be worth it. I said vehicles because used cars are the same.
Hi thanks for your comment 🙂 Really interesting to hear from yourself in Italy. Can you get good deals on similar bikes by Moto Guzzi? Or other Italian makers?
@@surfingsteven1624 not really. I mean, those start less expensive (Moto Guzzi, Fantic, some Moto Morini models), but the used prices are still comparatively high. I won’t even start with Ducati…
@@superleggenda I wonder how easy it would be to buy a used bike outside of Italy that’s less expensive and ride it back? 😆. Here in the UK we have quite a wide choice of bikes available but some models aren’t available here such as the Honda Trail / CT125. Honda decided they would see the Monkey and Dax instead but I would prefer the CT. I could only buy an imported one but then the cost goes up 🤔
@@surfingsteven1624 a lot of car resellers use that business model, because it can be justified by a car’s higher price. Say I wanted to import a Bonneville. The bike is available in Italy but I’d have to pay for homologation, for license plates, VAT AND customs (only if buying from outside the EU, which now includes the UK). Then there’s the issue of MOT. First inspection is after four years, then every two. For imported vehicles, the first four years are down to two. Ultimately not worth it for a bike, probably not even from another EU country.
lol I remember at the time of searching for my next bike, it was rare to find a T100 that’s 6 years old with mileage higher than 4-6k. A lot don’t get used that much. You’re quite right though, these bikes can do a lot more!
Hi Greg, thanks for you comment 👍🏻 I don’t know much about the early Bonnies but I would have thought the new T100 would have been closer on power etc to the 60’s T120’s and the new T120 is quite a bit different? Happy riding.
What's all this high mileage crap? 30k isn't high mileage, IF it's been well looked after. These are low tech bikes with lightly stressed engines. Compared to engines of 40+ years ago, modern units run tighter tolerances, use better materials and filtration and lubrication has evolved to match. Suspension is more likely to require attention before the engine. My ZZR1400 has done just over 38k miles and runs as sweet as the day I bought it. You can buy a bike with 10k on the clock, that's been neglected/abused and it will be problematic money pit.
Hi Mike, that’s right, compared to some motorcycles out there for sure which is what I mentioned during the video. It’s just not very common to see a used Bonneville for sale with this mileage as most used Bonnies for sale have just 5k or 10k miles at the most. Even when they are over 10 years old. It just seems to me that by T100 standards, this bike at 6 years old is relatively high mileage. That’s just my view. All opinions are welcome 👍🏻

Thanks Ben 😄 good luck with your test. I think you will be happy with either of those bikes. Let me know what you decide 👍🏻
Gorgeous bike and lovely camera work too! Cheers from an '08 Bonneville rider in USA
Thanks Alex! Glad you enjoyed the video 🤙🏻
Lovely Bike, my last Bonnie was a 1971 and loved it. used a bike like yours and enjoyed it I did a test ride for a mate. I feel the same as you do about my 1967 BSA A50, love it to bits.
Thanks for your comment. The old BSA’s are so nice 🤙🏻
So great to see you enjoying the T100 so much. I love your enthusiasm ❤
Thanks for leaving a comment Kenn. Glad you enjoyed the video 🤙🏻
Great video with Great advice. I love my Bonneville T100 too. I bought it used and it was such a great choice! I totally agree with you... Enjoy! :)
Thanks for commenting Paul, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Welcome to the channel and happy riding 🤙🏻
Nice music at the start! Really nice.
Thanks Lee, glad you enjoyed it 👍🏻
Awesome review and thanks for sharing big love from Australia 😊😊😊
Awesome, Thanks for your comment 🤙🏻 glad you enjoyed it!
I’m right there with you re the Triumph bikes and I own a T100 myself👍. Looking forward to the Cornwall mini series. 😎 Subscribed👍
Thank you Tim and a warm welcome to the Channel 🤙🏻. The next episode of the Cornwall mini series will be out next week I hope 🤞🏻🚐
@@surfingsteven1624 👍👌
Hi, thanks for your comment, glad you enjoyed the video 🤙🏻
Mine sure does. Even with all my friends on custom Harleys
yes, it´s a beauty and these bonnevilles are just great. the only thing that always held me back of getting a t-100 or street twin - yes, i prefer the 900ccm to the 1200 - was those tyres. i found them being slippery in the turns and on tar snakes, and we have loads of twisty roads here. i would love to try one with michelin road classics or conti road attacks on them, but where? anyhow, i completely agree otherwise and loved your enthusiasm! triumph are really beautiful bikes with superb engines and build quality… these bikes are real gentlemen!
Best tyres for me are Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2.
I have Michelin Classic on just now, they're OK too.
I have a 2013 T100, I see examples that are tatty around the motor with corrision and weatherd engine paint. My bike is not too shabby, plenty of attention after a wet ride, and liberal application of GT85. Love it.
Thanks for your feedback Andy 👍🏻. Would you recommend GT85? I’ve heard good things about it.
What a great deal you got there!
Thanks for watching and nice buy 🤙🏻 you won’t be disappointed! Do you know why the RE gearbox has blown? It sounds like it’s fairly new 😱
I have a 2014 T-100. Tires wear fast so put on whatever tire you like.
They are good bikes, i have a T120 and love it, build quality spot on looks definitely the best looking modern classic imo. 👍
Thanks for the feedback Boris 🤙🏻
I want one!! Good video, tells it like it is.
Very kind of you, thanks for watching 🤙🏻
Sweet ride! 🙌
Following along 👍🏻
Thanks Mike, glad to have you aboard 👍🏻
Cool, thanks for your comment Laurie 🤙🏻
Rode 70s Triumphs a long time.Just got a 07 Black n picked up a 01 Bonneville with 27k miles..Both awesome Bikes..Head turners every were we go
Nice! The earlier bonnie’s are carburettor aren’t they? Have you had any issues with today’s ethanol fuels?
@surfingsteven1624 no not at all.
Nice bike ! This color is great ! Mine is a T120 Blue cobalt/silver ice color and i love this horse too ! Drive safe V
Thanks for leaving a comment 👍🏻 I must try a T120 soon as many riders have nothing but good things to say about it. Happy riding!
@@surfingsteven1624 you are welcome Steven ! V
Beautiful bike, don't change a thing about it, enjoy it
Today I test rode a 2017 with 2900km's. I currently ride a Kawasaki Z800, very good bike but this T100 did something to me today, and I'm currently having a beer thinking I may well swap out the Z800 for the T100 - I'm also 60yrs so the T100 is kinda better suited.
Thanks for commenting John. The 2017 is a good model for sure 👍🏻
Dude! That bike is awesome! Kinda sucks i'd never fit on it LOL, Cheers from KY
Thanks for commenting Glenny 🤙🏻
Im looking at swapping out my Kawa Z800 which is damn right beast, for the T100 - but I am 60yrs.
Exhausts look & sound great... don,t change them....plz...peashooters totally suit the bike...cheers from New Zealand...👍👍👍
Hi, im 6‘4 and would love to hear from other tall riders, if the thruxton would fit better
Welcome to the channel Marin. Laurie Bloggs left a comment in the comments section which may help 👇🏻
I'm 6'4" with a 34" inseam and I have a 2017 T120. I've not messed with the handlebars but I found that the Burton DS014-T120 seat really improved the rider triangle for me. The Burton seat is probably two inches higher than the stock seat and it gave me a little more leg room.
Love my t120. I did some mods.. Like your channel🇺🇸
Thanks Kenneth, glad your enjoying the channel 🤙🏻 So glad the content is reaching our neighbours across the pond 🙂
You don't see to many Triumphs, honestly none since I bought it..😄
Wonderful bike! What I can't get is: Why play music while we want to listen to the marvelous sound of its engin?
Fingers crossed you don’t have anymore trouble with that 🤞🏻
The best sounding motorcycle ever!
Just can’t wait to pass my test and get one honestly.
Good luck with your test Tom. It’s definitely worth it 👍🏻
Nice review Steven!
Looking forward to more reviews,
Greatings from the Netherlands,
Gert
Hi Gert, thank you for your comment. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Some of the channels taller riders will be happy to read the T100 can be a suitable bike so thanks for that insight. More videos coming soon 🤙🏻
They don't sell this specific color anymore.
Very good video. Keep it up
Hi Clive, thanks for your comment. More content coming soon 🙂
Hello - Very nice bike and review.
Presumably the T100 would be ideal for me as I have not ridden a motorcycle for over 30 years but have passed my test back in the 80's
With a budget of say £3500 - £5000, would that be enough to secure a good used Bonneville.
Have always liked bikes but since passing my car driving test I've not been on a motorcycle since:
I must be one of many of those 50 plus years or older who wants to come to bikes after a long time of no riding.
( A tad intimidating 🙂
Buying new is possible, but might be best to purchase used at this moment in time.
126,500 Km on my 2017 T100. Can't fault it, can't keep off it. It's like having a piece of a better time.
Fantastic way to look at T100 ownership. Thanks for commenting Asa 👍🏻
I'm looking at a 2017 with 2600km so after reading your post Im thinking maybe its going to be the bike.
Hell, you could easily pay an additional $1800 for destination fees and dealer prep alone on a new bike.......and then the damn service charge right after a short "break in" period on some.
Thanks Mike 🤙🏻 Interesting points and with that, most dealers will void the warranty if you don’t keep up with the service schedules starting from the first 500 miles etc in most cases.
funny guy. its a good bike i have the street twin, lovely ride
Hi, Thanks for your comment. I will have to try a street twin soon to compare with the T100!
It is a VERY nice looking bike. It is really one of the most authentic and best looking retro bikes. No ... the best.
Thanks for commenting Thomas 👍🏻
My 04 Speedmaster has 115,000 kms on it, runs like new.
should've got the T120, way more fun and tons more power
Yeah agree, i dont think 30000 miles is high. Maybe if it were a high strung race bike, but not for this one..
30k is nothing.
That T100 is certainly a good bike, except for 270 crank firing ... I prefer my 2007 Bonnie 😉.
Thanks for sharing your advices 👍
The earlier Bonnies are just as good for sure and are holding their value really well too 👍🏻
That 270 firing order snarls like nothing else.
Hats off to the workers in Thailand. Their skill and craftsmanship is outstanding! A beautiful product. I just wish marketing could add a Thai flag somewhere.
Thailand is just the place it's put together. You can't call Bananas "Home Grown" because your local store puts them in a bag for you
Its 100% designed with all RD in the UK.....by a wholly owned British company.
Put together in an overseas factory fully managed by UK staff.
I get what you are saying despite other commenter, gotta love Thailand!
Change oil regularly, and it will be good bike, oil is cheaper than than a engine .
Thanks! It’s due an oil & filter change soon I think 🤔
I always do twice as much as is necessary.
Why? My YB100 has 32k on the clock no probs !
Beautiful bike, not seeing a downside.
What year is that beautiful (T100) ?
@@roberthogan2428 2017 👍🏻
Gorgeous
Maybe I missed it, but what year is this bike?
It’s a 2017 👍🏻
I think it’s okay if the bike has been regularly serviced.I’d rather buy an old Triumph than a new Enfield because of the quality of the parts.
What year is your motorbike?

"High Mileage" lol, I was expecting 100,000 miles but 29,000 ? 😁
lol I remember at the time of searching for my next bike, it was rare to find a T100 that’s 6 years old with mileage higher than 4-6k. A lot don’t get used that much. You’re quite right though, these bikes can do a lot more!
Sound so stupid calling a T100 a Bonneville. Us older Triumph guys only know the Bonnie as the T120. My best version was a 63 T120C
Not good chrome on them seen sum rubbish with only 1,500 miles on them
The chrome is still looking brill on my bike and it's well over 31,000 miles now. I must have a good one :)
It might be an idea to say what your inside leg measurement is.
You look long and lanky.
30K miles is not high mileage, nice bike.
