I've got 2 disk locks, 2 oxford monster chain and locks, and a Litelock x1 on my bike at home with a gate with 3 locks and 2 modified removable bollards I welded into a 'T' shapes blocking my driveway. Altogether I have 10 locks on bike and driveway.

You can never go over the top with it my friend, just takes more time getting the bike out, but it's worth it!

The Roadlok is better for stopping wheel away theft than a standard disk lock if you have radial brakes.

Ground anchors are a good bet too. The firm I used to work for, we had a few events of guys in vans literally picking up locked bikes loading them into a van. We was able to get the firm to install a number of ground anchors. You will still need to lock up the bike but it stops it been lifted away an along as you have a decent lock, will add alot of valuable time to break it free from the anchor. Unfortunately we need to use all the tools at our disposal to keep our bikes safe. We're there's a will there's a way an best we can do is make it as loud an time consuming as possible

Exactly, just like the analogy that I used about castle sieges, make it as difficult as possible for someone to nick your bike, use everything at your disposal!

A good tip is the video by bennets bike social. The guy tested tons of different locks, and shows which are most 'theft proof'. Some locks have certain weaknesses compared to others, so you can try to combine locks/anti-theft devices to fill gaps in your 'devices'.
As you said, a disc lock, decently sized chain, and an alarm I consider the bare minimum for sure.

Yeah I saw a similar video by bikes with beards, they tested out a bunch of stuff.. yeah I agree with that being the bare minimum as I've seen some videos out there where the thieves don't care about the alarm going off, carrying on angle grinding both the chain & disc lock.

From what I've read, mine has 2 bolts accessed from below. Being full fared it's a bit of an arse to get to the steering lock. You're fortunate they didn't wheel your bike away so probably some young scrote? Thieves usually lift them into the back of a van.

Yeah normally they would be a group of 2 or 3 and lift the bike up into a van instead of trying to ride it away, which makes it weird that they broke the steering lock but didn't wheel it away or anything.. maybe it was a beginner thief not really knowing how to nick a bike, because if it was a planned robbery, then the bike would have been gone!
