@@ruahinesrider absolutely 😁 almost a goldline 😁
Great mutter, with some marvellous photos, that Norton Fastback looked glorious! (Honda Hornet was the other bike). Certainly has been a wee bit of rain again, although still managed to get out and dodge most of it! Have a great weekend!
Thanks S 😁 you too 😁
Afternoon Taym 😊 Friday mutter its Fridays photos now, and I really enjoyed it and I liked the 900 Thunderbird well our kid had the 900 Adventure so I have a soft spot for them 😊

Beautiful British Spring day, can't beat it.👌
Absolutely 😁 thanks Nigel 😁
Mammoth Mutter bud 👍
😂😂😂😂 yes, sorry about that 😂😂 thanks Mark 😁
@@TAYM 😂
Thanks TAYM, the MC in the photo next to the Norton Commando Fastback is my immaculate 2002, 2003 reg, CB 900 F2 Honda Hornet. A MCN review referred to it as more Val Doonican than hooligan, it's a marvellous MC with many extras fitted and has toured Europe on many occasions. I'll send a better photo for your mutter when on a rideout in a nice location. 😎
Wonderful 😁 when the would ends the only things left to ride will be hornets and bandits 😁 I am sure of it 😁 thanks Stephen 😁
Great mutter, ifancy fish and chips now but my missus may want me to watch my waistline, oh dear 😂.
😂😂😂 I have the same problem 😂 thanks Chris 😁
Morning TAYM, thanks for showing my picture , great mutter , have a good weekend
Thanks GCK 😁
Beautiful AJS Poster.
Absolutely 😁 thanks Mike 😁
Yes they do Classic 350's with alloys Black Stealth Edition 350 has alloys too.Might not get them in UK.
Stopped making Victory bikes in 2019 I think 🤔 & Polaris just makes Indian bikes now along with Snowmobile's,Side by Side's etc.
Victory was Polaris test run to see how'd they go before going on to make Indian bikes.
Interesting 🤔 thanks RR 😁
Got fed up with the spokes on my Classic 350 after 2 winters so ordered some alloys from RE via my local dealer for £360. 3 weeks later no sign of wheels dealer contacted RE said they would ring him back, I went home and found Hitchcocks had them in stock with a 2 day delivery for an extra £40. Rang my dealer and told him who said RE should have them with him by the end of the following week ! Suffice to say he ended up getting them from Hitchcocks but did not charge me the extra £40. 😊 The new Bridgestone tubeless tyres give a faster steering response but still stable in the bends, so a win all round.
Ps sent you an email with photo of alloys fitted last Friday
Marvellous 😁 thanks Peter 😁 much more practical for winter 😁 two sets, spoke for summer, alloys for winter 😁
Lovely sunny day there TAYM lots of slippy mud and gravel tho...I'd probably be sliding down the road on my RSEND.
Thanks DT 😁 yes, currently getting 4 seasons per hour here 😂😂🤔
Morning TAYM, nice to see you've got some blue skies on your commute, cheers for the photos, 👍that 350 classic looks nice with the alloy wheels, I wouldn't mind a set of those, as my spokes are a pain in the "RC" to keep clean , 😅😅 ,see what I did there..
Cheers Mel 🍻
😂😂😂😂 I am glad someone realised the issue I was having there 😂😂😂 thanks Mel 😁
@@TAYM 🤣🤣
Great mutter TAYM, sad news about the bike night. You asked about if they still make Victory, they do not. Polaris rebranded them as Indian. Cheers!
I see 😁 thanks Scott 😁
we never had the rain here , ,,seems all roads lead to bury street st edmunds ;;
Thanks SG 😁 they do indeed 😁😂😂
Wonderful mutter and a ton of pictures! You mentioned the Lada...it is the Lada Niva...I had one when I was living in Hungary! I loved that truck. It could go anywhere. Maybe not reliably, but when it did go it really went! 😊😊
Thanks Mark 😁 the lada Riva was a saloon car and the niva a 4x4 affair 😁 over here they used to call them skips 😂😂 now they command high prices 😂😂
Marvellous mutter as usual 😀
Thanks Willie 😁
👍👍🏍
Thanks Paul 😁
Honda hornet 900 is the bike in front of the Norton 🙂
Thanks B 😁
Most of the covered bridges were built before motor vehicles or at the time they just started out. Mostly they were for horse drawn carriages and sleds in the winter. The cover on a covered bridge was to protect the wooden structure from rot. The bridges wouldn't last more than a few years without them. The sloped roof also kept the weight of heavy snow off of the bridge itself. Unfortunately the ones that are still open to traffic are taking a beating from trucks that ignore the weight limits. The one I travel to got damaged by a truck that thought it could fit under the cover, but ended up getting stuck and causing the bridge to be closed for months for repair. Hope you weren't to late for work!
That makes sense. As an Englishman living in the USA I initially found the use of wood in construction very strange. In England we are much more used to building with stone and brick.
My wife was watching your video and out of curiosity looked up the covered bridges. Apparently wooden bridges only had a life expectancy of 10 to 20 years due to rain, snow, ice and sunlight. Covered bridges could last over 100 years. It appears it was less costly in the long run to cover wooden bridges.
Thanks 2WV 😁 I remember now 😂😂 fascinating 😁
Yes, and iron and steel 😁 thanks Roy 😁
Brilliant 😁 so interesting isn’t it 😁 thanks AD 😁
Goooddddd morninggggg taymiester looks like you had a sunny day to ride the trumpet 😀👍🏻 carry on that man Caio for now tat ta
Thanks HN 😁 yes, funny weather at the moment, blink and it’s hailstones 😂😂😂
Morning TAYM, sad to hear about Stonham. Had a look on their website events calendar and it says Bike nights from May until September, so maybe they have just shortened the season. No doubt we'll find out sometime. Lovely mutter 👍
Interesting 🤔 I hope it does 😁 thanks Bill 😁
They do classics with alloy wheels in India /it is optional/ .. Also it's optional to buy alloy wheels from India after you got the bike 😀😀 ..
p.s. Tomorrow is my local bike show in Sofia .. Expect pics from crazy new machines..
Brilliant 😁 can’t wait 😁 thanks Stefan 😁
I enjoyed that outstanding upbeat mutter and wonderful photos. Shocking to hear about Stonham Barns. Perhaps some Stonham Barnacles were complaining about the noise. I will send you an Orange Crush photo from earlier in the week, to help with the quota of R.E. photos.....
Marvellous photo 😁 thanks GBD 😁
Cooking RR?
Derek pipped him 😁😂😂 thanks DT 😁
Derek pipped me by a hair must be that Northern Hemisphere advantage again.
@@ruahinesrider yeah mate rigged those northern Hemisphere blokes don't know how much trouble we have hanging on upside-down. I feel like a fruit bat sometimes. No wonder we're a bit slow here down under.
@@daintree2455Suss out how to do that video yet Dain 🌲 tree?
@@ruahinesrider by the way RR I sent a vid (I think) be a bit like yours mate very professional. I expect we'll get a call from TayTay to be on her next music vid.
