I have a few 90’s bikes, and interest is definitely on the increase, for the reasons you gave.. That GSXR is lovely, but it has to be blue/white for a Suzuki.. I have the 750 SRAD, but I would like an earlier GSXR.. My fave bike in the garage is my 1990 Kawasaki ZXR750 H2 in the obligatory green/white/blue 😉 Prices are certainly firming up a little.. It still makes me scratch my head that the magazine ‘Practical Sportsbikes’ magazine was cancelled.. & yet ‘Classic Bikes’ magazine is still going?? Surely 80s/90s & early 00s bikes are approaching their purple patch for those of us in our late 40s/50s? 💁🏻♂️ Anyway, interesting video featuring some lovely bikes.. I’d love that 851 😍 I had a 916 many years ago, but I do prefer the 851/888 shape Ducatis Subbed 👍🏼
Thanks so much for the comments. The blue and white are classic but something about the red and black in that earlier shape is just spot on. The H2 is a minter….and definitely the right colour! The 400 H was a great little bike but only Japanese import if remembered correctly. A real shame about Practical Sports Bike, maybe a rebrand would have seen it continue. There is definitely interest in those bikes now as nostalgia bites. The 851/888 are just as nice as the 916 in our opinion. Possibly unrated due to the success of the 916? We really appreciate the sub and thanks again. 🙏👍👍

@@raceandretro They had a Weber twin choke carb. The black 999: values bottomed out long ago and have been on the up as to most tastes the styling has come full circle. The later or higher specced ones were the smart buy 5-10 years ago.
I think the 999 looks quite good in black, the vertical double-eyes are making a comeback right now and it still got the classic trellis frame, the nice double underseat exhausts and the sleek fairings youd expect.
