Still I run into trouble shoot issues at times. 2 oleds 3 lites and 2 switch dead from attempted mod and now I can confidently do it with out messing up. It's definitely not easy though. Hi did my 1st V2 switch with a black oled V6 chip, I didn't have the emmc clip so I used wires. All points measured in the correct range...when I turned on the switch it pulses yellow for a minute then purple for 30 sec the 3 red then boot to the ofw when i turned off the switch it does the same pulse sequence after powering down.
I tried the C and A point on both the emmc chip and the motherboard according to your diagram and it still does the same pulsing sequence.
Can you tell me if there's anything else I'm might be missing?

Hi, really good guide, I've installed my mod chip un a OLED switch and everything seems to be fine (all the solder points measure between 600 and 860, but I'm getting 1 blues flash then 2 yellow flashes followed by 2 more yellow flashes after some seconds, according to the Github repository that means that the rst is having issues, when I put the multimeter it mesures about 1.2v, what can it be? I'm thinking maybe it's the cable I solded is too thick but i'm not sure, also the console is not booting to the OF after the error codes, any help would be appreciated!

@@sthetixofficial thank you. one more question. i scratched the clk point with a needle. from the looks it looks like the pattern is damaged. when i check with multimeter at the end of the clk point(circle) i get the correct reading(0.788). if the pattern is damaged, will i still get the correct diode reading from the end of the clk point?

    • @sthetixofficial

that point is a bridge between the cpu and the emmc. if you break it, the multimeter will still showing a value but it will be a false one. because you might be reading from one side only

return rate is much lower than the reflow method. FYI, the friction method works still 2021, so I believe it is the best.
