Hello, great video. Thank you for this. I have a question, first time installed the chip, booting light goes green, then goes purple 3+2 times and then white 10 times and goes off. I need to re-attach the battery cable to start again. Also doesn't boot to OFW. What it can be?
Hello , sir is that possible if i missplace dat0 and if it touch different point that will burn switch, I have burn my switch and some time memory card not dected some time it turns headphone mode on, could you please guide us how to touch exact point
Is there an alternative B point? Everything tested okay except the B point which was OL, no visible defects & resoldered. It boots to OFW every time. That being said, my D point was double every other. A C & 3.3v tested 0.7 and D tested 1.4v. No short however
Thank you, closer inspection revealed the D point was not connected, fixed it then in the process the C point has disconnected 😂 much respect to you full timers
Strange, I was getting the infinite purple and then red and boot to ofw. I opened up the back to look at the chip and without touching anything, I tried booting it up and it booted fine to cfw... I wonder what happened? Loose wiring? They all felt tight

@@sthetixofficial Thanks! Finished my install and I'm getting an error, it blinks fast: red, yellow, I think white, purple, then solid white for a couple seconds, and then off. Can you please give me any tips for re-attaching a resistor to the CMK point? I've tried soldering it, but my soldering tips are too big, I've tried hot air and although it looks like it's attached, it just doesn't attach. Is there some kind of technique to soldering one on?
I used the FPCB, can't boot to OFW. At first I was getting blank screen after the Nintendo logo when trying to boot to OFW. It boots CFW fine. I tried to boot while holding + and - button and now it tries to boot with a squares spinning in a circular way with a line like it's loading but it just loads back to Hekate. Should I remove the FPCB and just use wires? If I do that, will I be able to load into OFW or do I have to rebuild Boot0?

thank you for a great tutorial. all can be managed by 36awg wire?
yes.
@@sthetixofficial thank you. one more question. i scratched the clk point with a needle. from the looks it looks like the pattern is damaged. when i check with multimeter at the end of the clk point(circle) i get the correct reading(0.788). if the pattern is damaged, will i still get the correct diode reading from the end of the clk point?
that point is a bridge between the cpu and the emmc. if you break it, the multimeter will still showing a value but it will be a false one. because you might be reading from one side only
Thanks for all the guides, I really appreciate the content.
May I ask since you stopped doing the reflow on the MMC how is the return rate of Oled with just the pressing the DAT0 adapter method?
I had to rework one I did like a month ago.
return rate is much lower than the reflow method. FYI, the friction method works still 2021, so I believe it is the best.
Thanks legend as if ur video come out 2 week ago i will have an idea with my D point, it give me a trouble to find what is not working even though i got the right value using multimeter later on find out the solder from the flex issue use jump wire straight to the chip problem sove
Honestly the only part that scares me is getting the CLK (D point) soldered correctly. Exposing traces isn't my strong suit.
Hi I accident removed the capacitor next to the emmc chip when shouldering. Do you know where to get it back?
try asking @zzattack on twitter.
8:41 Did u scratch the PCB there as u removed the cpu cover??
yes but very light, and it didnt damage the track.
Is there a reason why you have to do the initial setup if your console is new before modding it?
to test the console before modding it.
Hi. I accidentally updated my moded oled with hwflyv6. Updated on ofw with 17.0.0. Now my board flashes quick whites then boots on ofw. Does it mean my atmosphere is incompatible with the switch ofw version? You should make a tutorial about the update for modding community. Thanks!
Please try to reset the chip with putty ruclips.net/video/Y0dK-e4e1Wg/видео.html
Hello, great video. Thank you for this. I have a question, first time installed the chip, booting light goes green, then goes purple 3+2 times and then white 10 times and goes off. I need to re-attach the battery cable to start again. Also doesn't boot to OFW. What it can be?
recheck the soldering / pads. either it is disconnected / short. remember the solder mask is too close to the pads.
Hello , sir is that possible if i missplace dat0 and if it touch different point that will burn switch, I have burn my switch and some time memory card not dected some time it turns headphone mode on, could you please guide us how to touch exact point
it wont. maybe you have shorted something in the headphone area/ connector not the dat0
Is there an alternative B point? Everything tested okay except the B point which was OL, no visible defects & resoldered. It boots to OFW every time.
That being said, my D point was double every other. A C & 3.3v tested 0.7 and D tested 1.4v. No short however
B is either 0 or have value depending on your multimeter. don't think too much about that point
Thank you, closer inspection revealed the D point was not connected, fixed it then in the process the C point has disconnected 😂 much respect to you full timers
@@sthetixofficialgot the no SD screen after many hours of troubleshooting, was loose D then loose C but all good now thanks for the video man ❤
@@Unknown_Handle404although you had readings, the issue was looseness? My switch keeps booting to ofw
Strange, I was getting the infinite purple and then red and boot to ofw. I opened up the back to look at the chip and without touching anything, I tried booting it up and it booted fine to cfw... I wonder what happened? Loose wiring? They all felt tight
check the wires, make sure they are not accidentally pressed
Do you have a tuturial for exchanging the cmd point? I might hbe destroyed my resistor.. I dont know where to buy a new one
no. there is no alternative point
can you share sorroundings smd resistors around M92 on switch OLED? I lost two of them and I have no clue what to buy... :(
You can check it on the tronicfixforums www.tronicsfixforum.com/t/info-board-diagram-and-part-numbers/91
Reet Switch Installation left out this time because there is no solder point available?
please watch the putty guide on my channel
My good sir, love your videos, can you help me? My dat0 feels well seated, I tried removing and placing it multiple times, but my diode reading is always and consistently around 0.96~0.98V. SKhynix chip. What am I doing wrong?
it is ok
@@sthetixofficial Thanks! Finished my install and I'm getting an error, it blinks fast: red, yellow, I think white, purple, then solid white for a couple seconds, and then off. Not to OFW, just black screen. My D point was giving me a high reading, around 1.6. Had a hard time with the D trace, but then it'd be shorted right?
you might damaged the D point or something else.
Hey, thanks for your nice videos!!! Good Job! Maybe do you have the schematics of the board I need to reflash firmware 😢….
will upload it soon
@@sthetixofficial hey, that would be very nice!
@@sthetixofficial thanks can you please tell me when?
Here it is github.com/sthetix/DIAGRAM/raw/main/Instinct-NX-SWD-Points.jpg
Firstly thank you for this great video! I got issue. When I try to open OFW I’m getting purple screen, when I try to sd partition I’m gettin this error “failed to init emmc! “
What should I do?
Thank you
i think your emmc is damaged. did you reflow it?
No, I didn’t. I’ll check connection and update you.
I got an OLED second hand and tried to install one, after the first day of it working fine it just shows a purple screen on boot. Is there a way to fix this or a reason it’s happening
Try to fix it with the level1 or level2 guide.
question where did you get all the items you needed can you provide an full list? thanks :)
Some things I bought locally but I am sure you can get all of them on aliexpress and amazon.
Great work. Do you know the value of the capacitor in parallel of the 3.3v point Nintendo switch oled? I pulled the flat and ripped one of them off... the video game still works, but I want to put another one back. thank you very much.
I measured it, and it is about 20 uf and i read on gbatemp , it is 22uF_6.3v_0603 capacitors
@@sthetixofficial Thank you very much.
I have the OLED switch, and have both the HWFLY 4.1 as well as the instinct V6 mod chips. Which should I install ? I’m inclined to go with the instinct but not sure why it was so cheap in comparison.
Thanks
any option is fine
Can you please give me any tips for re-attaching a resistor to the CMK point? I've tried soldering it, but my soldering tips are too big, I've tried hot air and although it looks like it's attached, it just doesn't attach. Is there some kind of technique to soldering one on?
well, try using a solder paste and a hot air or try buying a sharp solder tip
@@sthetixofficial Thanks, what temp is safe to use with hot air?

We’re can I find mod kit v6
I used the FPCB, can't boot to OFW. At first I was getting blank screen after the Nintendo logo when trying to boot to OFW. It boots CFW fine. I tried to boot while holding + and - button and now it tries to boot with a squares spinning in a circular way with a line like it's loading but it just loads back to Hekate.
Should I remove the FPCB and just use wires? If I do that, will I be able to load into OFW or do I have to rebuild Boot0?
just use wires , no need to alter the nand
Hi, Thank a lot for the video! Yesterday i installed a picofly v6 and all worked fine. Today I have problems: hekate starts with the error message: Missing LP0 (sleep) lib/ and when I try to start in OFW, I get a blue screen. Can you give me a tip on where I should start troubleshooting?
your pico damaged your console. dont use pico..you need to use instinct-nx and unbrick it.
Thanks for your reply. Damn, I didn't know that before. You are repairer? Can I ask you which region you live in?
I am in indonesia
