Thanks for the tutorial. I started this quilt on Sunday. I wish I would have done 2 1/2 x WOF for print and background and made a strip set, then pressed and cut. Chain piecing all those small squares...uhg! So far so good though...doing in red, white, and blue for a door prize. Love it!
@@SewYeah Thank you. I actually got done with my 30 blocks and realized that my red was not true enough. It had an orange undertone. So, I did do the 2 1/2 x WOF to correct. FYI: 2 1/2 x WOF (3 lengths print and background yields 42) I'll send pics. Oh, and the extra 10 blocks are becoming bowl coozies from a previous SewYeah tutorial! Thanks Guys!
I love this quilt, and the magic of video editing you made a quilt top in under 11:00 minutes. Nicely done guys!! As always, I look forward to what you will have next time on SewYeahQuilting. Keep up the great work.
Hello there 👍☺️ I’ve been on vacation.. without internet 😐 You’ve been busy, looks so beautiful and love the colors. Take care and God Bless, Chris-Raleigh NC
Enjoyed the tutorial. Will probably try it. BUT I so wish this and other videos would cover a bit of detail for pressing other than "toward the dark." There are often intersections that confound me.
Hi Ann, Not sure what you mean. Whenever we press/iron we just iron the fabrics flat- ironing towards the dark side. Does that make sense? Take Care, Brody & Teancum
Hi Ann, I think you mean you end up with thick seams/intersections. I'd press to the dark, then lay the block out and recheck the directions before stitching together. Most will match up but you can re-press the ones that end up as 4 or 6 layers thick. The majority will be correct and maybe one or 2 will need their direction changed.

😍😍So sorry I am just catching this .I am trying to catch up on the comments. Hope to do better in the future. Thanks for watching our lives. We appreciate it !!!!!!
I noticed watching several of your videos that most of you stand. So my question is are you using foot pedal and approximately how high should is your machine?
As you can see we are behind on the replies. I am trying to catch up and stay that way. I hope you have found the answer to any questions you had and thanks for watching!
The PDF worked for me. When you get to the PDF there are 3 dots on the top right. Tap on them and it will give you the option to download. Hope this helps.
Thanks so much for watching! Your block should come out to 11 inches. So sorry for the confusion! You can follow the directions in the pattern and it will give you all the correct measurements. We hope you love the quilt! Thank you.🥰
